"Just change the smell of your perfume. I don't want to smell perfume like that," said Haikal coldly.

Hera smiled bitterly and nodded slowly. The woman immediately closed the door to Haikal's room.

Feeling safe from Haikal's reach, in the quiet lobby, Hera took several deep breaths. Haikal's attitude made his heart almost stop.

"Has someone been chasing you?"

Hera jumped for the umpteenth time and immediately looked back.

"Why do you look out of breath?"

Rey repeated her question which Hera had not answered. The woman then rolled her eyes and tried to find an excuse.

"I-I walked too fast because of the enthusiasm to work in a big office like this," replied Hera lying.

"It's good that you are passionate about your work. It's not in vain that I asked HRD to contact you when this office requires experienced financial staff. Fortunately, during interviews and tests, you can pass it all,"

Hera blinked for a moment. Her brow furrowed hearing the explanation of the head of the financial division.

"So this is why I was suddenly specially summoned? Is it because you promoted me, Rey?"

Hera was a little surprised. What Hera knows all this time, Rey is really indifferent to Hera's personal life.

"Rey, I didn't expect you to be secretly watching me. I'm glad you've opened your heart to me."

"I just wanted to help you. Don't think too far and don't be a stupid woman like this," Rey replied flatly.

"Stupid woman?" Hera asked quietly.

"Yes. Stupid because of love. I hope this help you don't perceive that I love you, Hera,"

Hera smiled bitterly. Again Rey gave Hera an argument of rejection. Fool for love.

Assume Hera is indeed the most stupid woman in this world. She is too in love and continues to chase Rey.

Even though out there, there are many men who want Hera. But the woman's heart is only for Rey alone. For her, falling in love is worth fighting for.

Hera remembers how in high school, the woman's appearance was so clumsy and not at all attractive.

Moreover, Hera is not a child full of wealth.

No one wanted to accompany him. Only Rey accompanies her during those gloomy times.

Entering the world of lectures, Hera and Rey are getting closer and have a romantic relationship. But Rey's parents strongly disagreed with their child's relationship.

"I won't give up, Rey. What if fate brought us together? You don't refuse fate, Rey," said Hera half-screaming.

"Come on, Hera. You just do your best."

Hera's face looked calm looking at the man's black eyes. But the next second, Rey instead walked away leaving Hera alone.

All of Haikal's employees from the marketing division and attended by several other company colleagues, were suddenly surprised by the results of this morning's meeting.

Haikal has just chaired a meeting with disappointing results. The result of the meeting was known by Rey after other employees gossiped outside the room.

Rey was curious and immediately went to Haikal in his room.

"Hey, what happened to you, Bro?"

Haikal didn't answer. He even pinched his temples as he rolled himself in his oversized chair.

His eyes stared far away at the skyscrapers behind the window of his room.

Actually Haikal thought everything about Hera. That's why he didn't focus on that important meeting.

"Rey, you've taught that woman a lot? Sorry… I mean a woman named Hera," asked Haikal, diverting Rey's conversation.

"Haikal! You have not answer my question. You don't usually act indifferent when the company fails," Rey protested with urgency.

"What else do you want to ask? Our company still has another opportunity. You calm down."

"Calm down you say?! How can you be calm when the company is in trouble? This is no joke Haikal! Since when did you look relaxed like this?"

Rey growled with emotion. As long as he is a working man and as long as Haikal serves as CEO, the owner of the company with a melancholy and perfectionist spirit, surely all work will be well directed in Haikal's hands.

Rey, as the finance director, also felt uncomfortable with Haikal's casual answer.

"Is it because the new employee made you not focus on the important meeting earlier?"

Rey snapped, starting to get emotional.

"What do you mean?"

Haikal obviously didn't want to openly show that he was thinking about Hera.

"I'm your best friend, Haikal. Together we built this company from zero. I know what you're like."

In fact, Rey was emotional. But he is a boy trying to be calm in dealing with his best friend.

Haikal himself took a deep breath. He really can't deny that what Rey said was the truth.

Because, for days the image of the hot night kept flashing through Rey's head.

For some reason, there was a desire that emerged where Haikal wanted to support Hera again sighing under him.

In fact, Haikal had never previously knit a relationship with any woman.

Let alone making out, interacting with any other woman, makes Haikal reluctant to do it. The reason is, he is a man whose heart is difficult to conquer because of his cold attitude.

'Ah, what a damn woman! Why did he have to give me such pleasure!' Haikal cursed in his heart.
