End of the Tutorial

After selecting his class, Max decided to continue advancing in the dungeon, slaying monsters.

30 minutes later, he was in front of a gigantic metallic door. The boss monster of the dungeon was probably on the other side.

Max decided to go in immediately because he didn't want to waste time sitting and doing nothing.

[Elite Giant Centipede]

[Monsters of Elite rank are usually boss monsters in small dungeons. They can also be rarely found in nature.]

The Elite monster went into combat mode the moment it saw Max entering.

The Elite Giant Centipede was much faster than the centipedes which could be found beforehand.

As it was advancing at a speed that no normal human could see to the naked eye. The speed at which the monster was going was now considered slow by Max's standards.

Max, feeling like he was the stronger one, decided to take the initiative and went in first.

Woosh!

The special stat he had just gained from his class selection was just perfect for this type of monster since the strong point of the centipede was its speed.

The strike Max had just made seemed to affect the Elite monster as it was now going back afraid of what Max was able to do.

This gave confidence to Max as he decided to chase after it and finish it once and for all.

While the ability is active, a Berserker's health may decrease rapidly due to the increased energy demands of their attacks.]

Reading the description of the skill, Max discovered that this skill was overpowered. The only downside was that he would have to be careful of his health when using it.

'Alright, let's go back to see what is happening up there.' He thought to himself

He saw a weird situation as he came out of the metro station.

Everyone was helping each other, fighting the zombies with little to no risk.

That was until he saw a woman dressed in black with a mask on her face. It looked like everyone was listening to her.

Max seeing this decided to go up. "Hello, what is happening around here?" said Max

"Hmm, who are you?" responded the girl

"I'm Max, I was busy clearing the dungeon that appeared. That's why I wasn't around here."

"Oh, you were the one who did that." said the girl as she started observing Max in detail. "You must be powerful then." she continued

"I guess you can say that," said Max, humbly

"What's your rank?"

"I would prefer not saying, I'm not really proud of it. However, I guess I could tell you under one condition," said Max, not wanting to reveal any detail about him.

"What is it?"

"The condition is that you remove your mask and tell me your name. Simple isn't it?"

"Alright, if that's what it takes." said the girl as she removed her mask. "My name is Avery nice to meet you."

Max was too stunned to speak, she was too beautiful. She looked like an angel.

"Hello, you there?" asked Avery, not knowing why Max stopped talking.

"Oh, hmm ye...yes I'm here. Nice to meet you," said Max, shyly

"Can you tell me your rank now?"

"Oh, sorry about that. I'm ranked first actually."

"Wait, wait, wait, what did you just say," asked Avery, flustered

"I'm ranked first."

"No way, you're the one who made me rank two. What is this luck? Arghhhhhh! Just what did you get in the dungeon to surpass me."

"Hmm... nothing much, just a skill and some experience."

"Wait what you can get skills?"

"Oh, you didn't know. I think you can get them from monsters but they have a small chance of dropping."

"No way, what skill did you get?" said Avery excitedly, starting to get closer to Max.

"Sorry, if I'm being rude but I don't think that was part of the deal," said Max, flustered by how close Avery was being.

Interrupting the conversation, a message popped up in front of them

[The Tutorial has ended.]

Celebrations could be heard around them.

"We did it! We survived."

"We're alive! Thank god!"

"Yessss!"

Suddenly, a figure was descending from the sky, it was Lucifer, clapping his hands."Congratulations to everyone who has survived. I was pleasantly surprised by how much humans can change when their life is in danger."

Max looking at Lucifer could see his demonic smile watching over us like insects.

Lucifer continued "The ones who have survived this ordeal will now be going to Zeta a land where trials like the one you just faced are nothing. The danger you were facing is nothing compared to what you will face in the future. Also, the ranks which were given during the tutorial will give you certain privileges when arriving in Zeta. Those privileges will be explained to you when you arrive there. Some humans really surprised me with their composure, be sure that I will keep an eye on you. It is now time to leave and go to Zeta."

'I will become the strongest, anyone has ever seen!' Max vowed to himself.

A message appeared in front of every survivor
