"Yes, we packed the Net guns. Fred, can you focus on driving, please?"

"This thing is on auto drive. I don't need to focus on it."

"Boss, he's just afraid. It's normal."

"Yeah, we all are. But can't you be like John? Look how silent he is."

"John, are you not— John? Are you alright?"

Stanley's eyes focused on the face of the man who looked at him as he called out his fake name. Fred was looking back at him from the front of the van.

He shook his head, getting rid of the headache. "Yeah, I'm… I'm fine," Stanley answered, an answer he didn't believe in himself. "I just… I think I fell asleep."

They were on the van, making their way to East Vanli.

"Sleep if you need to," Nova said. She was at the front of the van, next to Fred. Stanley was on the seats behind them with Sol next to him. He knew what was behind him.

Vera was on the back of her computer, sitting next to a pile of bags which were all guns and weapons.
