However, her relief didn't last long because the three Calamity-Ranked Monsters she was fighting against broke out of their daze and resumed their attack on her, pushing her back.
'Useless fools.' A Mantis-like Monster clicked his tongue as its gaze swept through the battlefield. 'I thought that I wouldn't need to lift a finger, but it seems that we have underestimated the denizens of this world.'
This Mantis-like Monster was actually a Demigod who had the ability to camouflage itself by melding with its surroundings.
Before the Purple Portal closed, it was able to arrive in Solais safely. Due to its passive ability of seamlessly melding with its surroundings so long as it wasn't active, Lilian failed to notice its presence.
