Marcus Causes a Ruckus

Zane sipped on a cup of coffee, which was comically small in his large hand. "What do you need my help for, again?"

"Prince here needs to go shower," Zora said, patting Prince's back. "And we need to overthrow Marcus. And we can do that, because Prince has a large Faction backing him up. Plus, he's a World Ranker, like you."

Zane looked toward Prince.

Prince felt a kinship in those eyes, like they were the same. Zane seemed to have the same fire to get stronger.

Prince grinned.

Zane grinned.

They would spar later.

Zora looked between Prince and Zane in confusion.

"Go, go." Zora pushed Prince. Normally, she wouldn't be able to make him budge, but he went along with it.

Prince entered the bathroom, which he had (thankfully) found on the first try.

Prince took off his two pieces of clothing and entered the shower.

Seeing the grime and dirt his body had accumulated just wash off was very satisfying. Prince left the bathroom feeling like a changed man.

Unfortunately, he didn't have a change of boxers.

When he joined the two again, Zora was chattering animatedly while Zane was definitely pretending to listen.

"Okay," Zora said, once she noticed him. "I've devised a plan."

"You guys will make an announcement to everyone that you'll kill the tyrant Marcus." She said. "Then you guys will go into Marcus' home and kill him there. Then Prince takes us to wherever he came from!"

"What about you?" Prince asked.

"I'll cheer you guys on from the sidelines!" Zora grinned.

"Okay," Zane said matter-of-factly. "Sounds good to me."

Zane walked over to the door and opened it. Prince exited, walking out onto the middle of the street.

Zora skipped after him, followed by a tired Zane.

Zane would be the one to get everyone's attention. Breathing in, he released a shout with his System-enhanced lungs. "HEY!"

All activity on the block stopped. Everyone paused.

Zora hopped onto Zane's shoulders, standing on top of him with ease. "People of the Iron Throne Faction!"

A few of Marcus' goons, lurking in the shadows and alleyways, recognized her. She wasn't supposed to be here. But they couldn't do anything in front of the people.

"You no longer have any need to fear Marcus! This guy right here if from a powerful Faction! He'll kill Marcus for you, and you will be free." Zora pointed to Prince.

Prince wasn't afraid of the attention. He calmly looked at every skeptical eye upon him. In turn, they all looked away from his monstrous presence.

"And," Zora added. "You don't need to fear the monsters, because Prince is offering you all a spot in his Faction! So who's with us?"

Marcus' guards were seething. What Zora just did was too outrageous!

The entire road was silent.

The guards smirked.

"W-Well... Guess that didn't work." Zora said.

Prince had one more thing left to say, however.

"Keep this in mind." He said, his voice carrying. He let his aura surge out, bloodlust emanating from him. Everyone present cowered.

"Those of you who wish to continue living this way of life will not survive. Wake up." Prince said. "This isn't the old world. This is the new world. A world that doesn't operate on normal laws."

"A world where a man can become a god through dedication." Prince grinned. "A world where titanic beings fight for supremacy." Prince then pointed toward the crowd. "If you think you can still pretend this never happened. Then you will die."

Prince's aura retreated back into him, and he turned around.

Zora hopped off of Zane. Zane yawned, though Prince's aura had slightly excited him.

"Where's Marcus' house?" Prince asked Zora.

"Up there." Zora pointed toward a three-story building.

"Let's go." Prince said, walking away from the crowd.

Zane and Zora followed him.

In the shadows, Marcus' guards stalked him.

Prince let them follow him until they were directly outside of Marcus' house.

It was then Prince felt something heavy punch his ribs. He wheezed, steam curling out from the point of impact.

A bullet fell onto the floor, the culprit.

So I'm bulletproof. Sick.

Prince turned to the alleyway the bullet had been shot from. A muscular man wearing a suit and black shades walked out, holding a glock.

From the shadows, three other men materialized.

Zora raised her fists.

Zane didn't do anything yet.

Prince scanned his particular attacker.

Name: Henry White

(Iron Throne Faction of #2Y-B379)

Race: Human

Origin: Earth (#2Y-B379)

Level: 8 (F-Grade)

"You may think you're all that, Prince Collins," Henry White said smugly. "But guns still rule."

"And you..." He turned his gun to Zora. "You're supposed to be dead."

"I got better?" Zora said, shrugging.

"Oh, shut up." Prince laughed at Henry. "Men in Black wannabe."

Henry swiveled, pulling the trigger.

Prince couldn't dodge a bullet, but he could perceive trajectories.

He easily weaved away, much to the surprise of Henry.

Prince was already before him, a wild and maniacal grin on his face.

Henry felt a pressure on him as Prince pulled his fist back, his aura suffocating. This man, Prince...

Was more monster than human.

Meanwhile, as Henry saw his life flash before his eyes, Zane had taken out a relatively harmless-looking knife.

"A knife?" His assailant laughed. "Don't bring a knife to a gun fight, stupid."

Zane used a skill, and his small knife grew five times its size, appearing to be a giant claymore. Zane released his aura, seeming like the incarnate of death now.

"W-Wa..." The guy stuttered. He couldn't move.

Zane's blade was approaching. Sure as death.

The man gasped, Zane's bloodlust seeming to lock him in place.

Zane's knife grazed his neck, soft as a kiss.

Meanwhile, while Zane was preparing to chop a man's head off, Zora walked up to her own shooter.

"Listen, dude." She said. "I'll give you a cookie if you just walk away. Plus, you'll keep your life."

"HAHA!" He barked a laugh. "Are you kidding? You'll give me hella levels!"

"Is that so..." Zora pouted. "I didn't want to kill you..."

The man pulled the trigger. "Like you could-"

His shot had hit air.

"What the...-" He began, but then he felt fear. Terrible fear, as if he was staring at his worst nightmare in the flesh.

And his nightmare was a fist?

Because that was what was approaching his face. Scary thing was, Zora had a cheerful, cute grin on her face.

"M-Mommy..." He whispered.

...

"We done?" Prince asked. His guys had his head blown off.

"I think." Zane said. He threw his assailant's head away.

"Nah," Zora said. "We have this guy."

In her hand, she held the fourth lackey by the collar. She lifted him up effortlessly.

"H-Hey!" He said. "This suit costed a lot, you know!"

"Oh, boohoo!" Zora stuck her tongue out.

"I would advise you not to do that." A voice said.

Prince turned to the door, in which a dashing man walked out. He wore a suit, like the others, but it was much more expensive. He had curly black hair. behind him, a white-haired woman followed and a short man with big eyes looked around.

Prince scanned him. Because unlike the two beside him, the man radiated no aura.

Name: Marcus White

(Iron Throne Faction of #2Y-B379)

Race: Human

Origin: Earth (#2Y-B379)

Level: 15 (F-Grade)

"You killed my brother," Marcus said quietly, turning to Prince.

"Yeah." Prince grinned. "No guards for you now, pussy. One punch from me and I'll blow a hole through you."

"We'll see." Marcus narrowed his eyes.

"Yeah..." Prince laughed.

He exploded forward, raising a fist.

Marcus didn't even flinch.

Oh well. Your death.
