Space-Time Device

Thor's divine body was indeed formidable, with astonishing defensive power. If he were unarmed, killing him would not be easy for Deadpool!

"I'll give it a try!"

Deadpool, however, was not one to be deterred. He pulled out the dual blades from his back and walked slowly towards Thor, who was lying in the pit.

In terms of sharpness, Adamantium blades were undoubtedly one of the sharpest in the world.

"Hah!"

Deadpool lightly shouted, raising his blades high above his head and fiercely slashing at Thor's neck.

Deadpool's expression sank slightly because he felt that his blades were like hitting a rubber tire. The Adamantium blades were harshly deflected.

"Such formidable defense!"

Deadpool couldn't help but exclaim. He had only seen such amazing defense in characters like Nightcrawler and the Hulk.

Though Deadpool possessed a regenerative ability, his main strength lied in his self-healing powers, not an immensely strong defense.

Seeing that Deadpool was not giving up and wanted to attack again, Fang Ye walked over to stop him.

"Don't waste any more time. Weren't you supposed to guard the Tesseract? Why did you come here?"

"Boss, the Steel Team has safely evacuated from the United States, so there should be no more problems. I saw that you hadn't returned, so I came to check."

Deadpool sheathed his blades and reported to Fang Ye.

Fang Ye nodded and then glanced at Thor, seeing that his injuries were almost healed. He walked over, grabbed Thor's foot, and smashed him dozens of times.

Next to him, Deadpool was sweating coldly. Although it wasn't his first time witnessing Fang Ye's brutal actions, each time still sent shivers down his spine.

"Alright! He won't bother us for now. Let's go back!"

"Yes!"

Deadpool first contacted the Steel Team to inquire about their current dimensional coordinates, then teleported with Fang Ye.

Back on the fighter jet, they saw the Tesseract securely placed there, and Fang Ye let out a sigh of relief.

The journey thereafter was calm, with no further interceptions or missile launches from the U.S. government. They safely arrived at the island base.

After returning to the island base, Fang Ye took a shower and changed into a new pair of boxers. However, this new pair did not have a teleportation device installed.

Then, Fang Ye summoned Dr. William.

"Dr. William, this is the Tesseract. I hope you can open a space-time tunnel as quickly as possible!"

"Yes!"

Dr. William was excited. He had heard many legends about the Tesseract, but this was the first time he saw the actual object. He held the Tesseract with hands slightly trembling.

After taking a deep breath, he suppressed his excitement.

"Boss, we have already made all the preparations for the activation. With the Tesseract, we can try to open the space-time tunnel at any time."

"Oh!"

Fang Ye's face revealed a hint of joy. He, too, wanted to open the space-time tunnel as soon as possible, as he feared the U.S. government would not give up easily.

"Opening the space-time tunnel can wait for now. First, see if you can repair the teleportation device."

Fang Ye had already thrown away the tattered boxers, but he had taken off the teleportation device.

Dr. William took the teleportation device, carefully examined it for a moment, and then shook his head.

"Boss, the matrix core of the teleportation device is damaged. It's almost impossible to repair it!"

"In that case, forget it! Let's try to open the space-time tunnel first!"

Then, Dr. William led Fang Ye out of the underground base to a villa on the island.

On the rooftop of the villa, there was a platform with an instrument on it. It looked similar to the one in the original Avengers movie, the device used to open the space portal. However, it was more sophisticated and much larger.

Dr. William placed the Tesseract in the instrument, and the whole device started operating, creating a light curtain that enveloped it.

"Boss, this instrument is our collaborative creation. We call it the 'Space-Time Device.'"

"A good name!"

Fang Ye praised with a smile on his face.

Dr. William typed on the keyboard and set the coordinates. Suddenly, the Tesseract vibrated, and a vast energy spread out, causing the Space-Time Device to rotate rapidly. After a moment, a beam of light shot up into the sky, and the sky about a hundred meters high split open, revealing a portal-like black hole.

"We did it!"

Dr. William was excited. This was the first time in human history that a space-time tunnel had been successfully opened.

Fang Ye looked up at the space-time tunnel with excitement. However, he didn't rush in right away because he wanted to take the Tesseract with him, along with the design of the device and the data that he had not yet seen.

"Close it for now!"

"Yes!"

For the rest of the day, Fang Ye memorized the design and data of the Space-Time Device and consulted Dr. William whenever he didn't understand something.

In a day's time, Fang Ye had memorized all the information about the device, although there were still some parts he didn't fully grasp. Nevertheless, he had committed it to memory as a precaution, in case he didn't return to the real world this time. If he ended up in another world, he could recreate the Space-Time Device.

The next morning, Fang Ye called Dr. William, and they both came to the rooftop of the villa.

"Activate the device!"

"Yes!"

Dr. William took the Tesseract and placed it in the Space-Time Device. As the device started, the sky about a hundred meters high split open again, with a diameter of nearly a hundred meters.

"Turn it off!"

Following Fang Ye's command, Dr. William turned off the device. After the device shut down, Fang Ye reached out and grabbed the Tesseract. At the same time, he transformed into the Green Giant, stomped on the ground, and soared towards the entrance of the space-time tunnel in the sky.

After Fang Ye entered the space-time tunnel, the last scene he saw was the entire island being slapped into the sea by the enormous hand. The sea surged with towering waves, but he could not see what happened next as the entrance to the space-time tunnel had closed completely.

"Who... could it be... Thanos?"

Suddenly, a name popped into Fang Ye's mind – Thanos.

The legend said that the Tesseract was one of the six Infinity Stones belonging to the Infinity Gauntlet, an object that belonged to Thanos. If Fang Ye wanted to take the Tesseract to another world or universe, Thanos would certainly not agree. Hence, the scene just now...

But Fang Ye didn't have time to think about this. After the space-time tunnel closed, he felt the tremendous gravity and gravitational force acting on him.

It was fortunate that Fang Ye had transformed into the Green Giant; otherwise, a human body wouldn't have been able to withstand it!

Though Fang Ye was curious as to why he could travel to the Marvel world with an ordinary human physique without any harm, but now he had to transform to bear the pressure within the space-time tunnel.

Within the tunnel, there was no sense of time. Fang Ye didn't know how much time had passed when he opened his eyes again...
