Upon arriving at the adventurers headquarters, Lukeas quickly made his way inside, his mind focused on finding Julie. However, despite searching high and low, she was nowhere to be found. With a sense of disappointment, he decided to proceed with his plans and instead opted to rent one of the rooms available in the headquarters.
It was an interesting place, to say the least. The headquarters was a curious mix of a bar, an inn, and a meeting place for adventurers. The establishment welcomed anyone who could afford to pay, regardless of their background or profession.
As Lukeas settled into his room, he couldn't help but feel a sense of unease. His mind was filled with doubts and questions about his plans, wondering if they would really work, or if they would lead him to an early grave.
Despite the fear, Lukeas couldn't shake the sensation of something or someone urging him to push forward, to take the risk and experiment with something dangerous. The voice whispered madness in his ears, filling him with a sense of recklessness and daring that he had never felt before.
As he lay on the bed, contemplating his next move, Lukeas knew that the road ahead would be fraught with danger and uncertainty. But he also knew that he couldn't ignore the call of the unknown, the thrill of adventure, and the promise of untold power.
And so, he started his plan.. But not before recalling the lesson Merlin thought them that a nomad mana core travels through the body, it imbues the wielder with the ability to manipulate the mystical energy known as mana. This energy is the foundation of all magic and allows the wielder to cast spells, summon powerful creatures, and manipulate the elements.
During the early stages of training, everyone begins with a nomad mana core that moves freely throughout their body, constantly changing positions. However, as they grow stronger and gain more control over their abilities, the mana core slowly solidifies and fixes itself in its final position, known as the mana heart.
The mana heart is a critical part of a wielder's magical abilities and must be protected at all costs. If the mana heart receives a fatal blow, the wielder will lose their ability to manipulate mana permanently. This can be a devastating loss, as mana is not only a tool for combat but also a way of life for many.
Some people have their mana core fixed in other areas of their body, such as their hands. While this can be a disadvantage if the hand is severed, it also has its advantages. The mana core strengthens the area where it is fixed, making it easier for the wielder to channel mana and utilize aura on that part of their body.
In conclusion, the nomad mana core is the foundation of all magical abilities and must be carefully guarded to maintain a wielder's power. As they grow stronger, the mana core solidifies into the mana heart, which is the key to a wielder's magical prowess. While having the mana core fixed in certain areas of the body can have its disadvantages, it also provides certain advantages that must be considered in combat and spellcasting
Now, back to Lukeas' plan..
"In theory, I can use [Aura] and pour all my mana in one part of my body and keep it at that place and keep compressing it until it condensed.. The only thing is... It may take quite a lot of time..."
On their lesson before the class ended their last lesson is about the technique [Aura]. This technique utilized the mana in the user's body and pour them in the part of their body and cover said part with mana to enhance it.
"Now.. Lets start shall we?" he said then he started pouring all his mana reserve into his own heart.. He kept pouring in his mana until his core extinguish because his mana was completely depleted...
Normally those who got their entire mana reserve depleted would usually past out from exhaustion as using mana is equivalent on burning your stamina but since he was pouring his mana inside his heart, it technically didn't left his body yet. And thats why he was able to keep pouring it. Then once all his mana is used up he slowly compressed his mana to increase its concentration..
Lukeas was in excruciating pain as a foreign substance began to invade his heart. Despite the agony, he continued to press down on his chest and pour any mana he could recover over time. The amount of focus and concentration required for this task was immense, causing time to drag on painfully slowly. It became impossible for him to keep track of how long he had been working on it, but he didn't stop.
His determination to complete the task was inspired by a character in a novel he had read who refused to let the process be interrupted even in the midst of a fight. This inspired Lukeas to push through the pain and continue to work on his task, no matter what and its because he also dont want to know what will happens if he stops midway.
The physical and mental stress of this process was overwhelming, but Lukeas was determined to see it through to the end. He knew that the end result would be worth the struggle, and he was willing to do whatever it took to achieve his goal
And after an unknown amount of time passes he suddenly felt something akin to a faint click in his entire being.. And suddenly he passed out. His heart stopped beating, and he stopped breathing. As the emergency protocol was once again activated and deducted 500 of his points.
The blue slime cocoon enveloped him once again, triggering an electric shock when it sensed that his heart had stopped. The room was now bathed in blue sparks of electricity, illuminating the darkness. This occurred three more times, causing a commotion outside the inn as people noticed the flashes of light emanating from the window.
Suddenly, a strong heartbeat resounded throughout the room - BA-DUMP... BA-DUMP... BA-DUMP. Lukeas' body began to pulse with life once more, with each beat of his heart radiating a surge of mana throughout his body. His mana fused with his blood, which flowed through his veins, destroying every cell it touched due to the sheer power of the mana. Then his mana continued flowing throughout his body causing his flesh, bones, muscles, organs, and even his hair and nails to disintegrate rapidly.
Soon a black sludge was the only thing that remains inside the life support slime. But a faint movement could be seen.. Its like a pulse.. And soon a faint heart beat could be heard within it.
