Can't a father go out with his family again without something ruining it? I would have been happy if it had been just traffic causing the issue, but no, it had to be something much more outrageous – the apocalypse. Imagine what was supposed to be a family outing turning into a fight for survival against zombies in an instant. It doesn't change much, though. I'm still trying to be the best husband and father I can be, and the apocalypse ain't changing that!
The elderly man had a head full of grey hair tied in a ponytail. He stood on the mountaintop with his upper body and lower body covered in leather shorts.
However, there was something else that attracted Leo's attention aside from the man's appearance and the reason he didn't immediately fall into panic at his new surroundings and form.
What attracted Leo's attention was something the old man held in his hand as he gazed at the sky.
It was a sword. One that Leo would recognize any time of the day.
What the old man held was the Katana that Leo wielded in the real world. The sword that had given him the power to survive in the apocalypse.
What in heaven's name is going on?! Leo wondered as his nonexistent body shook.
Even though he had a lot of questions he wanted to ask that led to more questions, Leo forcefully buried them within him and continued to observe the old man on the mountain.
