Strongest Dad In The Apocalypse

Can't a father go out with his family again without something ruining it? I would have been happy if it had been just traffic causing the issue, but no, it had to be something much more outrageous – the apocalypse. Imagine what was supposed to be a family outing turning into a fight for survival against zombies in an instant. It doesn't change much, though. I'm still trying to be the best husband and father I can be, and the apocalypse ain't changing that!

Relaxing

"Ugh," a groan escaped his lips as he tried to reposition his body. It ached, and he felt incredibly uncomfortable. David subconsciously tried to shift his body to another position again, but it only increased the discomfort he felt rather than reducing it.

David then slowly opened his eyes. He immediately recognized his surroundings as the interior of his father's car and was met with the gaze of everyone in it.

Due to the silence that reigned in the car, David's groan, which should have barely been audible, wasn't. At first, Malachi, Anna, and Mia had just turned their heads to look at the source of the sound subconsciously, and when they realised it was from David, they focused on him.

After opening his eyes to see that almost everyone in the car was looking at him, aside from Yuki, who, for some reason, was positioned in a sitting position to sleep between him and his sister in the back seat, David was feeling a little uncomfortable about the gaze on him.
