Bleak Looking Future

Leo contemplated for a few seconds and decided to try absorbing the zombie's blood again.

From what he could see, he could tell that the energy he had taken in had not harmed him and perhaps also wasn't meant to harm him. The surge of energy was just so intense that he got caught by surprise and reacted as such.

Getting closer to the zombie, Leo stabbed his katana into the body of the zombie again and prepared to receive the energy he would soon pass to him to take in.

Since he was more aware now, when the surge of energy came again, though he was still taken aback due to how intense it was, his hand did not leave the hilt of the sword, and he kept absorbing the energy being sent to him.
