Can't a father go out with his family again without something ruining it? I would have been happy if it had been just traffic causing the issue, but no, it had to be something much more outrageous – the apocalypse. Imagine what was supposed to be a family outing turning into a fight for survival against zombies in an instant. It doesn't change much, though. I'm still trying to be the best husband and father I can be, and the apocalypse ain't changing that!
Leo's attack struck true at the spot where the zombie stood, but it didn't hit its intended target.
Before the attack landed, the zombie had already reacted and jumped out of the way.
The attack hadn't hit it directly, but it did graze it a little bit compared to David's attack; it was like a pinch.
Leo wasn't done yet, though.
Even though the zombie was way too fast for them to react properly, the fact that they could still follow it meant the gap between their prowess wasn't too far wide.
It was slightly significant, but it wasn't exactly to the point where their attacks could not do a number or two, like the mutated creatures that had almost had them for breakfast in the morning.
Before the zombie could leave his area of attack, Leo slashed at the zombie with his Katana at the fastest speed his right hand could muster.
