The Akatsuki. (1)

Tensions were rising secretly in the Shinobi world when the news about Tendo and what happened at Mount Myoboku was passed around. Everyone wanted to know where this young man came from and why was he so strong. Their interest got even higher when the same type of demonic chakra from the remains of Hoshigakure was found at Mount Myoboku. This, combined with his past actions gave his name a lot of infamy in the shinobi world, especially among the Five Great Villages. Some were starting to even consider Tanigakure to be in line for the sixth after it was said that Tendo was an ally of that nation. Finally, his bingo book bounty was raised to 400 million Ryo, an extremely lucrative price for those crazy enough to try and claim it.

The young man in question was still unaware of all of the happenings in the world as he had just finished training his eyes. It took a few hours for him to fully absorb all the Sharingan's safely and after that, he had gone straight back to Yomi's hideout to train them. Over the past month, he had gained many insights into its special abilities, including all the basic ones. For one, the ability to slow down things around him from his byakugan had been fully integrated into the natural prediction ability of the sharingan, enhancing its effects even more.

Tendo had captured a few shinobi from other nations that had tried to spy on him as it was said that he was active in the Land Of Demons. He used them to test his memory erasure, his ability to copy techniques and his genjutsu prowess. It was safe to say that his findings were astounding. Tendo had complete control over his genjutsu 'dimensions'. He had control over time, space, how much pain the victim of the genjutsu felt, etc. All of that was even enhanced even more when Yakumo's genjutsu abilities came into play. It didn't even require one to look into Tendo's eyes anymore to cast Genjutsu on them, it could be done as long as you're in his sights.

Currently, Tendo had just finished training his prediction abilities by fighting multiple clones of himself. This was an exercise he did every day as he realized that the number of opponents that would challenge him with his current strength only got lesser and lesser as he got stronger. If he kept on this path, very soon he would be the only person that could defeat, well....himself. Tendo sat down in his training room that he had Yomi build for him underground while he was away. It was basically just a large stone room with a few amenities present, as Tendo didn't need anything extravagant just to train.

Suddenly, he felt a familiar presence getting closer to him rapidly, closing the distance in between them in no time. The black-robed man exited the ground and looked at Tendo with a smile on his face.

Black Zetsu: "Long time no see, Tendo. Your reputation has gotten quite outstanding, Tendo. All of the villages know about you and they know to avoid you now. But, I didn't come here just to tell you that. I've gotten news from our leader, he says you're officially in."

Tendo: "I'm not worried about any of those villages right now. They will get what's coming to them in time. Hm, I'm finally in huh? So what do I do next?"

Zetsu: "Wait, is that a sharingan? It's so...different. Hehe, you've got yourself quite the prize. Well, since you're ready to join us, we can head to the base right now. Everything is ready."

Tendo: "It is indeed a sharingan, Zetsu. Well, alright, let's get this over with."

Tendo got up from his spot and the usual black robes appeared over his body as he was shirtless before. Zetsu was surprised to see that Tendo already had such mastery of natural energy but he didn't say anything. Inwardly though, he was happy as he was confident he made the right decision in choosing a vessel for Kaguya. The two of them then merged with the ground, heading towards the land of rivers.

[A few hours later]

Tendo and Zetsu arrived on the side of a mountain, landing on a medium-sized lake. In front of this particular part of the mountain were multiple tags scattered across it in a large rectangular shape. Zetsu noticed that he could actually see the seals but again, he didn't make any comments. Zetsu made a sign with his hands and a small door opened, allowing the duo to make their way inside. Tendo walked inside the dark place and he quickly noticed that he was in a massive room, spanning quite the distance. In front of him was the familiar Gedo Statue and on most fingers of it stood the current Akatsuki members, staring down at him.

Tendo noticed Pain, Itachi, Kisame, Kakuzu, Deidara, Hidan, Sasori, and Konan standing there. Each of them had different expressions on their face, especially Itachi when he noticed Tendo's peculiar Sharingan. As Tendo was in his own thoughts, Pain's deep voice suddenly rang out, causing Tendo to look at him as he spoke:

"Welcome to the Akatsuki, Tendo Senju."
