Mōryō. (1)

Tendo moved from his position and silently arrived not too far away from the soldiers by standing on the side of the Shrine behind them. With a wave of his hand, he sent out four spores to attach themselves to the four guards and activated it on contact.

Guard: "Ahhh, what is-mmmphhhh!"

They tried to scream but the Zetsu's quickly took over their bodies by absorbing their chakra and after that, devoured their bodies whole. The Zetsu's looked different this time around as they matched Tendo's likeness instead of Black Zetsu's. They still had completely white skin combined with green hair, but they had Tendo's face and long hair since he was the one that they were born from.

Tendo: "Transform into the bodies you just absorbed and watch the entrance, make sure no one comes this way. I don't how long I'll spend in there but keep watch."

They then transformed into the exact forms of the men used while Tendo flickered into the Shrine. When Tendo arrived, the grand scale of the seal was still impressive to him. Shion had already turned around and was staring at him in fear because her eyes showed her the future. If she tried to stop him, she would die.

Shion had her bell wrapped around her neck and was holding onto it tightly for protection.

Shion: "Y-you cannot f-free Moryo! He is an evil being that you cannot control!"

Tendo ignored her and continued walking towards her and she's stood in front of the seal. As Tendo got closer, a barrier made of extremely pure light formed around Shion, apparently protecting her from him. Tendo put his hands on the barrier and it actually burned his fingers severely, causing him to remove it in surprise. It healed immediately but something that was able to damage him to such an extent at this point was something he was interested in.

Tendo: 'Is it because I'm a demon? Considering where I am I wouldn't be surprised if it is. Interesting, let me test the power of this barrier. Dark Release: Flames Of Desolation.'

Dark flames appeared on Tendo's hands as he put his hands on the barrier burning and absorbing the sacred power at a fast rate. Shion noticed the barrier getting weaker and tried to bolster it by adding more power. The more she added, the more powerful Tendo's flames seemed to get. Not too long after, he finally managed to put his hands inside of the barrier. He fully absorbed the barrier and deactivated his flames before he grabbed Shion by her head, throwing her away from the seal into a wall.

Tendo: "I'll deal with you later. Zetsu, hold her."

A Zetsu grew out of Shion's body, absorbing her chakra as it captured her weakened body, disabling her movements completely. Tendo walked up to the seal and touched it, feeling the power that coursed through it with every fiber of his being.

Tendo: "The stars don't need to align for me to break this seal. It is certainly powerful, but my abilities are the perfect counter to it."

Tendo activated his flames en masse and watched as the flames ran across the entire seal and started burning it, breaking the seal bit by bit. The massive pillar of light suddenly became a pillar of darkness and inside the Shrine took on a dark purple sheen, looking like it suddenly had been bathed in darkness. A short while later, before the seal had even fully been burnt, a giant multi-headed dark dragon-like spirit rushed out of it and flew up into the air. Tendo stopped his flames and watched as the seal was completely broken by the dragon spirit.

Tendo: "Moryo's soul."

The spirit turned around in the sky and looked down towards Tendo, scanning him carefully.

Moryo: "A demon like myself huh? Let me check..! Your soul is strong enough to hold mine?! Perfect! Boy! I'll take your body and you shall have a place in my thousand-year empire if you don't resist! You will become my avatar!"

Tendo: "Come, I won't stop you. We will need to get your body next so hurry it up. The Land Of Swamps is awaiting us."

Moryo: "You already know about my body? Haha, good! You will be perfect!"

Moryo didn't waste any more time and rushed into Tendo's body, trying to take over it with everything he had. When he got to Tendo's soul space, he was surprised to see so many inhabitants in there, held captive by demonic-looking hands covered in black mist.

Moryo: "This one doesn't call himself a demon as a joke! If he survives my possession without his body being broken down, I will take him as my subordinate! Such potential cannot be wasted!"

Tendo: "Oh? You're getting ahead of yourself, Moryo. You're not in your designated space yet. Wraith Execution.'"

The black mist that was prevalent in Tendo's soul space suddenly increased drastically and a suction force was added to it. It started dragging Moryo's soul into an unknown place and before he could even try to escape, he was already sucked into the mist.

[Ding!]

[Jinchuriki status removed.]

[Soul Manipulation gained.]

[Host's soul empowered drastically. Host's body empowered significantly.]

Moryo was unconscious for a while before he opened his eyes once again and found himself looking through the eyes of Tendo. He was happy at first as the thought had taken over Tendo's body but when he tried to control it, his efforts were futile. To him, it felt like he was in control but not in control at the same time. But for some reason, he felt stronger than before, much stronger.

Tendo: "Are you enjoying your new home? You are now part of me. What do you think?"

Moryo: "What?! I'm apart of you? I've never seen a technique like this before! What kind of demon are you?! How were you created?!"

Tendo: "Calm down, Moryo. You are me and I am you. I wasn't created, I became a demon myself. Since we are one, you should know this. Certain memories are available to you."

Before, when Tendo had absorbed parts of the two tailed beasts, he didn't merge with them completely as he already knew that his true goal was Moryo. The two of them were truly one. Moryo also didn't trust what Tendo was saying but he didn't have a choice as he was trapped. He decided to check the memories that were available to him and when he did, he was astonished.

Moryo: "Boy...Tendo. You fused me together with two other demons? No wonder my power has risen so much. When I retrieve my body, it will increase even more! Becoming the strongest is your goal eh? I have to say, you've been doing a damn good job at it! Good, I'm interested in what demons like ourselves will accomplish in this world!"

Tendo: "You've changed your mind already? I thought you wanted to take over my body. Heh, it doesn't matter, as long as we accomplish our goals. By the time I'm done with this world, a thousand years will be trivial to the amount of time my influence will last."

Moryo: "Ha, we will see Tendo. I'm interested in how you will accomplish your ambitions but remember, I'm still a demon. If you get lax with your soul, I will take over it at any time. What are we going to do with that little girl? Her mother was the one who sealed me."

Tendo: "Her? Let's take her with us just in case I encounter some difficulties in releasing your body. After that, we can kill her or take her soul. Whatever comes first. What about your Ghost Army?"

Moryo: "I'll retrieve them after I get my body. You are already strong enough to make it to the Land Of Swamps unharmed."

Tendo nodded in approval and left the Shrine, heading to the Land Of Swamps immediately. When he moved, the speed he was moving at dwarfed the max speed he had before he came here.

Moryo: "Careful, Tendo. Just my soul will empower you to a massive degree. Get accustomed to your new body first before moving. It's gonna be even harder to control when you get my body."

Tendo: "I know. It just took me by surprise."

To Moryo's surprise, Tendo moved once again and it looked like he already had control over the speed he was moving at. In reality, Tendo was using the ability his mutated byakugan had to slow everything in his sight to quickly get accustomed to the new speed. The Land Of Swamps was his next stop.
