Find you. (Zilae’s POV)

Zilae and Lumina fell asleep.

Around 4am Zilae wakes up, Mateo still.. wasn't at the dorm.

Zilae's Inner Thoughts: Mateo... What are you doing out there? Why are you making me worry like this?

Zilae's eyes fluttered open, an uneasy feeling tugging at his consciousness. Stirring from his sleep, he noticed Lumina still soundly asleep and glanced at the empty space beside him where Mateo should have been. Concern and curiosity welled up within him as he quietly got out of bed and made his way towards the window.

Pushing it open, Zilae's gaze swept across the campus, searching for any sign of Mateo. And then, his heart skipped a beat as he spotted a familiar figure on the rooftop. Without pausing to second-guess himself, adrenaline infused his tired body, and he swiftly made his way to the exit, determined to find out what was going on.

Lumina's peaceful face, oblivious to the unfolding events, only made him more conscious of his responsibility to his best friend. Zilae crept through the darkened campus, his heart pounding with a mix of worry and anticipation.

(Mateo's POV): I was still on the rooftop, laying down and looking at the sky.

(Zilae): The school was locked up and I was walking to where the rooftop was.

Zilae's steps were silent and purposeful as he moved through the familiar corridors of the school, his mind solely focused on reaching the rooftop where he knew Mateo was. With each step, his worry intensified, urging him to quicken his pace.

Zilae's Inner Thoughts: Mateo, what are you doing up there? Why did you come to school in the middle of the night?

Finally reaching the stairs that led to the rooftop, Zilae carefully ascended, his heart pounding in his chest. As he emerged onto the rooftop, he caught sight of Mateo lying there, gazing up at the sky.

Zilae: His voice, filled with concern, slipped out softly as he approached quietly. "Mateo, what are you doing here? Are you okay?"

There was a mix of relief at finding Mateo unharmed but an underlying worry gnawing at Zilae as he looked down at his best friend's prone figure.
