Arrogance and Pride

As Ying Yue looked up at the muted laughter in Ru Long's eyes, even though he was behaving like the perfect gentleman, she knew he was laughing at her. But, she was not going to let this get in her way. Raising her hand slowly, she placed it in her hand and let him help her get up before she taunted, "Mr. Ru Long. Wouldn't it have been more gentlemanly to help me before I fell down instead of moving out of the way?"

Ru Long pulled her up and placed his hand over her elbow before raising his lips in a smirk, " A beautiful woman falling at my feet? Why would I want to break such a dream?"

She could tell that he had already guessed her intentions and knew that she had purposely orchestrated the fall. Zhao Min shook his head at the blatant flirting and said," I am leaving, Ru. Let me know if we are still meeting tonight."
