"What is this nonsense, daring to stop me."
Facing Manager Martin's obstruction, Evelyn Smith felt very unhappy in her heart. Although outwardly she greeted Manager Martin with a smile, in her heart, she had cursed him countless times.
"I'm really sorry, Miss Smith, but you should go back and rest today."
Seeing that she really couldn't enter, Evelyn gave up, nodded slightly with a deep look in her eyes, and then turned to leave.
"How is Arthur doing now?"
Evelyn slowly walked to Arthur's room door, and looked at Arthur, who was now soundly asleep on the bed. A flicker of impatience passed through her eyes, but her tone sounded incredibly caring to the ears of the servants.
"The Young Master was a bit restless tonight, seemingly feeling unwell. But he has just had some porridge and has gone to sleep. I'm here watching over him."
Evelyn couldn't help but raise an eyebrow. In her heart, Arthur's health had nothing to do with her.
