"Sophia, come here!" Mrs. Lewis called Sophia Cloud to sit beside her.
Sophia Cloud was somewhat unaccustomed; she had never imagined that Christopher Lewis's mother would suddenly have such a drastic change in attitude toward her.
"You've really been through a lot these days. From now on, I'll have to trouble you to take more care of my son. As for the matters concerning the Lewis family, I'll keep looking for solutions. But I think what he needs most right now is your company! Please consider this a pleading request from your aunt!" Mrs. Lewis said, her voice becoming choked with emotion.
Sophia Cloud felt it was unbearable, and she suddenly grabbed Mrs. Lewis's hands, comforting her, "Auntie, rest assured, even if you didn't say anything, I would always stay by Christopher's side!"
"You really are a good girl. I truly misjudged you before. I owe you an apology, I'm sorry!" Mrs. Lewis was very sincere.
The two talked for a long time.
