Chapter 42

Jailain (JuJu) POV

As I pull up to the store there were a couple of of police officers and firefighters on stand by

I could clearly see the building charred and half of it crumbled

"Baby." I said lightly not really wanting her to see what happened to her shop because it'll break my heart

"We're here?" Sylyssia asks and I sigh which confirms it as she sits up looking at the scene in front of her, I could tell she wanted to cry tears prickling at the edges of her eyes, but she held them in as she slowly got out the car and runs to the scene I quickly cut off the car jumping I dash after Sylyssia wondering where on earth could she have ran to that fast

"MOVE OUT OF MY WAY!!!!!" Sylyssia yells and I found her trying to wrestle with the firefighters to get to her store I make haste over towards before this girl gets herself locked up

"I don't give a fuck about none of that, that is my damn store!!!!" Sylyssia yells the men still refusing to let her by

"Baby." I softly coo to her hugging her from behind whispering soft words into her back hoping she'll calm down and she finally does I hold her hand as I come around to face the firefighters

"Can I please ask what happened to girlfriend's store?" I ask earning a disgust face from one of the men

"Well fuck you too with yo undercover dick sucking ass." I said cursing him out in my head a black firefighter steps in probably noticing how me and the white one was glaring at each other

"It appears ma'am an arson has been started from the back they manage to get a hold of the wiring that leads to the inside of the building." The black firefighter says and I nod rubbing Sylyssia's back praying she stays calm so we can get some answers

"Boss there you are what took you so long to get here?!" The woman who I had words with on the phone asks approaching quickly, but slows down once she sees me

"Baby this is my secretary Azayaha Schmicks, Azayaha this is my-" I cut Sylyssia off

"I'm her wife Jailain." I said holding out my hand for her to shake and she just looks at me before slowly shaking my hand

"Anyway boss you need to come talk to the police and figure out what you want to do." Azayaha says grabbing my woman's hand, but before I could raise hell Sylyssia snatches her hand away

"Don't ever disrespect me in front of my wife like that ever again, lets go baby." Sylyssia says gently entangling my fingers with her own as we walk over to the police to get this mess straighten out
