92.) Kenny VS Fong! A Great End to Challenge Day!

Challenge Day was well underway and the battles between top tier students who didn't even know they had already passed. Even if they did, these battles are for bragging rights and personal gain. Their status of succeeding or failing to go up in rank as Gods had nothing to do with it. Gahwardians fight for the glory of it all and it's just what these students were doing. By this time, all other major schools in Gahwardia and in EVERY other civilization within CVerse(Colossaverse) I. Each had begun their own Challenge Day after watching the start of Warren Warmen's, the top school in all of CVerse I.

Morpheus and the others that attended D-Drag Academy go at each other's throats. But their day was a little sour at the thought of Zoshen not being there with them. One could even say it hinders many from going all-out. Even so, their battles were explosive with Morpheus going head to head with Amera. Their fight had the attention of everyone on campus. We even have the likes of Luminaria who's students were putting on an explosive light show that not even the Corrupted wanted to interrupt. It was far too pure, maybe they who are corrupted are fond of the clan… who knows. But every clan was on fire with excitement right now, teeming all the way from the Beast Clan to the Might Clan. It was truly a great day in the Combat Verse.

But back over in Gahwardia's Warren Warmen Academy, Kenny was watching Fong take to the form her Birthright bequeathed her. Wings of crimson fire shot out from her back, her hands had fiery gauntlets wrapped around them. They had tassels of feathers that froliced in the wind attached to both gauntlets. Her greaves were shaped like a beast's legs, claws and all. She sprouted a tail and a pair of horns which all were on fire as well, of course. She stretched out her body as the fire compressed… then she roared proudly.

Fong: "GRRAAAAAAGHH!!! Hahahaaa it's time for a real battle Kenny!"

Kenny: "So this is you when you're all in. And your possession is no joke, I can still feel the heat even though I have these protective clothes on. Let's do this, FONG!"

They both leap at one another at full speed, splitting the earth and bedrock beneath them. Kenny summons four playing cards to his left hand and enveloped them all with sharp essence. "Blackjack Hit!", he yelled as he threw the cards at Fong. Fong instinctively shatters the card in front, and with that the last three disappear and another 21 cards with far greater sharpness appear. Surrounding her person just before crashing in on Fong.

Kenny: (The trick is simple. The lead card is always going to be the trigger whether they hit it or not. Its number plays one role, if it hits and the remaining three make 21. 21 cards appear with three times the BASE sharpness that I set. If the cards don't add up to 21 then they get a huge boost in speed and a sharpness level that can cut wartanium. Of course there's two hidden tricks as well.) *Grin* "He~eh!"

Fong: "Mhm…" *Fwish*

Kenny: "Hmm?" *He stops his advance*

Fong: "Incinerate!"

A wave of heated essence turned the twenty-one cards to ash. Fong then proceeds to blitz Kenny, turning her flowing tassels into blades as her right arm comes flying in. Kenny steps back one good time and swings his staff to his forefront to block her strike. *TING* They ring as the two clash, and an explosion occurs following said clash. A huge cloud of smoke forms and they both come bursting out the top. Each had their weapons sheathed and were throwing quick successions of blow. Ascending all the while.

Kenny: "Let's see your martial arts then, Fong." *SWISH*

Fong: *SWOOSH* "Hm hmm! *Grin* Prepare yourself Kenny!" *Fwish* *Swish**swish*

Fong throws three rapid jabs at Kenny's face. He dodges all three using boxing style bob & weave motions. He counters with an overhead right that gets blocked by an 'X' guard. Fong leaves a fiery afterimage and flanks Kenny's six. He attempts to turn around, but the fiery afterimage grabbed hold of him, becoming a clone as it solidifies.

"What the-" *FWOOSH* Kenny's body turned to smoke as Fong's foot flies through his chest. Kenny appears next to Fong, throwing a roundhouse kick at her head. She ducks under the strike the ascends higher into the sky. Kenny gets ready to dash after her, but the clone was attempting to strike him. He turned and touched it once then… he snapped his fingers. *Snap* Butterflies flutter about from what was once a Fong clone. He flashes after her, clashing with her as they build their essence.

Fong: *CLAP* "Gye~EHH!!! Hellfire Nova!" *TEWWW*

Kenny: "Pfft, oh wow! That's quite massive… *SWISH* Magic Circle: Vanishing Hand!"

Fong's Hellfire version of a compressed supernova was stopped by a gigantic, golden magic circle. It causes her supernova to disappear without a trace. As if a gigantic vanishing cloak was just out on top of it. Kenny flies through the magic circle while Fong dashes down towards him. They clash once more with Physical Zenchi, her right foot against his left hand. They repel one another with a shockwave to follow. Fong was able to keep from flying back too far by immediately going into a series of backflips upon being pushed back. She is the first to rebound and blitzes Kenny just as he stops himself.

Kenny: "Whoops!" *FWIP*

Fong: "Damn! I missed 'em. *FWISK* Hm?" *FWIP*

Kenny: (She dodged my drop kick?)

Fong comes flying back around at even greater speeds than before and presses beyond that of five times light's speed. Kenny has to block due to his awkward positioning. He curls up into a ball and is pushed back quite far after taking her massive punch. He waits for the initial sting to drop before flexing his body outward, creating a force great enough to stop him. He dashes back up and meets Fong head on once more. Kenny speeds up at the last second and gains the upper hand on their fist to fist clash. They're both sent flying as a result, but Kenny is able to rebound first this time. He blitzes Fong and lands a roundhouse kick on her hip, which sends her flying for a few kilometers.

"I can't let up now!" , he says to himself just before attempting to blitz her once more. She was able to begin another series of flips, which turned into a smooth backwards bend that completely avoided the flying kick Kenny unleashed. He stops his advance almost immediately as they both slide on the surface of their platforms. Fong looks up and dashes forward, breaking her platform in the process. Kenny flashes off as well and their fists collide once more, but they fail to go flying. Kenny throws three jabs at Fong and she blocks all three with a copy of Kenny's boxing style. She then throws his overhead right as a counter.

Kenny: "Well… what a surprise." *Fwish*

Kenny circles around Fong after dodging her counter and flanking her six. He attempts a left footed roundhouse kick to her head, but she ducks. Fong pivots her foot which allows for a swift one-hundred and eighty degree turn. Just as Kenny faces her way again, she flares up with a pressuring heat, delivering a hefty, right handed uppercut. *SMASH*

Kenny: "She got me with my own move!? (Right on the chin too!)"

Fong: (What Lord Shii said was true after all.) *FfffffWISH*

Yesterday Night…

(Shiishii: "Just remember this when moving forward on this path. If you truly wish to compete for top Martial artist, you must first be able to use your opponents' style after perceiving it in so little time. In the midst of battle is always best, because you're able to add to your arsenal in order to create the ultimate Fong style. But it also will show you the weaknesses you couldn't when viewing the enemy's style.")

(Fong: "Woah… I never even thought about that.")

(Shiishii: "Well Morpheus is already on that path, I mean he mastered MY fighting arts for prono's sake. And you think of him as a rival do you not?")

(Fong: "Yeah, I do Lord Shii.")

(Shiishii: "Then my newest student shouldn't be letting her rivals get ahead of her now should she?")

(Fong: "No sir…") "No she SHOULDN'T!"

Kenny: "Damn! (Can't let her land another one!)"

Fong throws a mighty haymaker with flames wrapped around her fist. Kenny weaves out the way and raises his right leg as he goes. He smashes his foot into hers, but he felt no real contact. It turned into fire and her right hand was placed on his leg. He was shocked a bit as her leg came swinging around and his head was kicked. Kenny was sent flying once more, but something was off. He broke to pieces as the sound of chipping wood was heard.

Fong: "A damn puppet!?"

The puppet blew up and turned to purple smoke before her eyes. A hole appeared in the smoke as if someone had just flown through.

Fong: "Oh geez, Heat!" *Bwiiiimp*

Fong casts a ray of heat that engulfs Kenny's entire body, showing her where her invisible foe was really attacking from. His fist was right in her face, and her technique allowed her to dodge at the last second. She counters with an open palm strike, but yet again something feels off. Kenny's body turned into a box and wrapped around her person. While the real Kenny sat to the side and waited for this moment.

Fong: "Damn his tricks!"

Fong snaps her limbs and head out of the box and prepares to break it. But Kenny had other plans, he blitzes her person and a saw appears at the the halfway point of the box. Setting itself up for the perfect cut down the middle.

"A damn saw!?" Fong yelled as she stared at the sharp saw. It ridged itself in and Kenny grabbed hold of it. He tore through Fong and the box with a smile as he twirled afterwards and formed a 'T' pose yet again.

Kenny: "And she's cut in half ladies and gentlemen!"

Fong: "D-Damn… he didn't even hesitate."

Fong and her two halves began falling down to earth as the box opened up and disappeared. Fong showed a hint of irritation and flared her fire ablaze. Flames came from out the bottom of her torso as well as the top of her lower half. The flames meet and her halves rejoin with each cell and particle in tact. Kenny is left speechless as he turns around to see her tassels sharpened once more. She rotates and swings her right arm as tiny slash lines glide towards Kenny.

Kenny: "What the hell are those- *FUER* Oh… SHIT!!!" *FEWWW*

The slashes turn into a gigantic, flaming 'X' the size of Australia. Kenny can only brace himself as the speed jumped tiers, crashing into him head on and exploding on impact. The blast was more than four times the size of the attack.

Baaji: *Long Whistle*

Drucidel: "She really is something. Matching Kenny blow for blow."

Silvio: "N-Nrgh… what's… going on. *Glare* W-Woah."

(Rashomon: "Hey Zo'Meesz, I'm awake.")

Silvio: (WHAT!? B-But how-)

(Rashomon: "Doesn't matter brat. Just use a bit of my power, it's really your only option.")

Silvio: "Why? So you can take my body like your buddy did my uncle? No thanks!"

(Rashomon: "I'm not like my brother Zo'Meesz, I'll be waiting for my study to come before acting up. I tell you to use my power now due to your inability to win without it. You still can't match let alone beat her, but he's doing both. He has just as much a chance of winning this as she does. And she's only stalling.")

Silvio: "Tch! Stalling for what?"

(Rashomon: "You ya twirp now use the power. I could care less whether you lose or win, but I'm bored and I can at least even the stats for you. Now… UsE THE DaMN PowER SO I CAn ENJoY A SHoW! ")

Silvio: *Pewh*

Kenny: "HAAAA!!"

Fong: "HYAAA!!"

*BOOM* A clash of Presence and Physical Zenchi occurs, which rips the battle field to shreds. They come out of it in a barrage of melee strikes. Easily throwing more than five-hundred strikes per second on each end, equaling out to one-thousand strikes per second.

Demetrius: "Ah man… they're tearing it up out there, Baarah."

Ms. Vermilli: "Indeed they are, Kenny and Fong are probably our most promising prodigies. Win or lose here… they have both qualified for Alpha Class, so have your sons."

Demetrius: "No surprise for those four, my main concern is- *pewTING* What the hell? I can sense Silvio and his essence has skyrocketed to the level of Fong and Kenny. But this feeling…"

Dr. Yoltenhiem: "It's Rashomon's signature for sure. But let's watch and see what happens, Rashomon is easily nearing 30 on the scale. But he's only a 10.5 here, plus the fact we can feel young Silvio's essence too. This is entirely different from before."

Demetrius: "I believe you're right, but my guard's up nonetheless."

Ms. Vermilli: "As is mine, my nephew is down there after all."

Dr. Yoltenhiem: "As is mine. Now then… let's see."

Kenny and Fong separate after neither could take the advantage during their clash. Just as they were about to let out another wave of Presence Zenchi, someone appeared between the two of them. It was Silvio, but his left eye and the side of his head was identical to that of Rasho's. His hands and feet were turned into claws with huge nails at the ends. You could see five identical eyes on each hand and foot, as well as Silvio's right eye. They were pink and glowing as they glared at Kenny. Silvio remained in his Fallen form but his right horn and wing were covered in Rasho's webs. So was the end of his tail.

Silvio: "I'll take it from here Fong. I need to see if I have the skill to beat him while having the stats to match him."

Fong: "Mhm!... Eh, alright I'll allow it. *Bwish* Pretty sure I passed already anyway, good luck!"

Silvio: "Mhm!" *Nod*

Kenny: "Well it's about time! *Fwip* Now show me his power! HA!" *FLASH*

Silvio: "Cell Destruction, Magnification: Level Molecule; Cancer Cell DESTRUCTION!!!" *Crumble*

Kenny: (He destroyed it completely! Hehee, this was worth the wait!) *FWIP* *FWIP* *POOF*

Kenny twirls his staff and poofs away. Silvio can no longer track his essence or presence. But Rasho's eyes can see his biomatrix which gives Silvio his location. Kenny flashes in while swinging his staff at Silvio's head. Silvio ducks and tries to back kick Kenny as a counter. Kenny sways out the way and leaps high into the sky.

Silvio: "Dammit I missed!"

Kenny twirls his staff while taking off his top hat. The hat flows in front of him while his staff head is put behind it. It starts to glow and Kenny calls out an attack while Silvio is busy resetting himself. "Magician's Familiar: Bonny's Rabbit!" *POOF*

A buff humanoid bunny rabbit is summoned from within the hat. It had two sets of ears that were 25% his body's size. It had claws as hands and its feet were on the big side, probably for hopping. Its tail was very large and poofy, at least half the size of the rabbit with really big eyes that took up 40% of its face. It had a bunch kf white fur on its chest and down its stomach. With tribal tattoos on its thighs and biceps. It leapt at Silvio with its claws open and aimed at Silvio.

Rasho (This is exactly why I said you would need me. Time to show you how I REALLY fight boredom. Kehehe!!!) *VWIMP*

Silvio: "What the!?"

Rashomon's cells morph into a shenlong dragon about the same size as the rabbit. It looked similar to Silvio's dragon form which meant Silvio's cells were used for its biomatrix and shape. It had three eyes that all looked like Rashomon's.

Rashomon: (I'm lacking a bit, but that's alright. Focus on Kenny.) *Fwip*

Kenny: "Well that's a surprise."

Silvio: "Mhm!"

The rabbit and Rasho clash head on with Rasho wrapping his body around the rabbits in a snake-like manner. He starts to eat away at its cells as he crushes it. The rabbit flexes its muscles and breaks free, ripping Rashomon to shreds. Then as it falls, it looks at a dashing Silvio and fires a mouth blast.

"Holy…" Silvio utters as he stares at the gigantic blast before him."

Kenny: "Good going Bonny."

Rashomon dashes in after putting himself back together. He wraps around the blast without touching it and casts his essence over it. He breaks the blast down and absorbs it before it could reach Silvio. Silvio releases a look of relief just before rushing in on Kenny. Kenny swings his staff while Silvio swings his Trident. They both wrap Physical and Presence Zenchi around their weapons and burst. Meanwhile, Rasho gains a more humanized version of the dragon body he took on before. Bonny Rabbit rushes in with its claws at the ready, Rasho counters with his own claws. The wave of essence found around both clashes and they create their own shockwave as a result.

Fong: "He's not doing bad at all. Wonder if he can win."

Silvio twirls his trident and thrusts it in on Kenny's face as he closes in. Kenny is taken off guard and can only react at the last second. His right forearm is stabbed through, but his physical strength is able to stop Silvio's advances. Kenny clenches harshly while gritting his teeth at the pain. Silvio keeps pressing onward to gain ground. Kenny notices and smiles as he literally pulls another arm out of his right forearm. Leaving the stabbed arm on the trident as he manipulates it. It wraps around the trident like a snake and Kenny calls out another technique.

Kenny: "Weight Appliance…"

Silvio: "What?"

Kenny: "100,000 Kilograms!"

Silvio's arms are weighed down by the weight at the end of the trident. "I'd let that go if I were you." Kenny says to Silvio as they lock eyes. Silvio is completely defenseless as Kenny forces a mighty knee into Silvio's chin. Silvio releases the trident in an attempt to block the kick that was coming. He manages to move his right arm in the way and gets kicked away.

Kenny: "Pretty solid Silvio. Too bad you couldn't infect me."

Silvio: *huff* *huff* "Your arm was touching the fake one you substituted it with. Of course you're infected."

Kenny: "Hm? *he looks down at his right arm* (WHAT THE!?) My right arm… is infected!?"

Silvio: "Won't be using that anymore."

Kenny: "That's what you think! Puppeteer!"

Silvio: "What?"

Kenny has strings attached to his hands with that of floating hands controlling those strings. His eyes were glowing with the same color that surrounded his newly formed puppeteer hands. Must mean he'd be controlling those same hands. Now it's like he never lost his arm. *FWIP* He flashes forward, using his disabled hand as the lead spear. His puppeteer hands turned to light and pulled his cocked back fist ahead.

Silvio: "He's going to hit me at light speed with that hand!? *FWISH* Not today!"

Silvio summons his trident by using his influence over it. It comes to his forefront wearing Kenny's fist clashes head on with it. They repel one another with Kenny performing a quick twirl just before throwing a backwards roundhouse kick. Silvio ducks under the hit and tries to counter. But Kenny uses his miss as a chance to build greater speed and uses a straight kick with that same leg. Knocking Silvio away as a result, but Silvio doesn't falter. He throws his trident after snapping the spear heads that were weighed down. They regenerate as it approaches Kenny's person. He pulls his staff back out and knocks the trident to the side then aims the staff at Silvio.

Silvio: "Aahh! Not done yet!" *Fwish*

Kenny: "Hm hmm!" *Grin*

Kenny dodges the trident as it comes flying towards him once more. He brings his hand down in a spear shape and snaps the head of the trident off. Silvio sends the head flying further away just before causing it to shatter. The pieces turn to balls of destruction and come flying at Kenny like rays of light.

Silvio: "Destructive Ray Circus!"

Kenny: "Ha~ah! Not a chance, Magic Circle: Counter Hand."

Another magic circle forms and the rays shoot back at Silvio as they reflect off the Magic Circle. Silvio flies higher into the air as he dodges more than thirty-five rays. Zipping up down and all around just before flying further away from Kenny. Causing all the rays to collect into a funnel shape. Silvio flies down the middle in a straight line for Kenny, causing each ray to run into each other as they try to chase after Silvio. He cocks his fist back with Zenchi wrapped around it. Kenny does the same using his left fist, and just as they're about to clash.

Silvio: "HYAAAA!!!" *FWISH*

Kenny: "Bring it kid!" *SWOOSH*

Dr. Yoltenheim: "Time's UP!" *SLAM* *FWISH*

Both: "WHAT!?"

Fong: "Mhm…"

Scrâg: *FWIP* "Guess… that's that. Silvio did well though."

Fong: "Yeah, but… The results may get to 'em."

Scrâg: "What do you mean?"

Fong: "Just look."

Silvio: *Huff*... *Huff* "D-Dammit!" *Sizzle*

Kenny: "Hm hm hmmm! That was a great bout Silvio- No… Zo'Meesz. I'll call you Silvio when you stop fearing that thing within you. You won't stop it by fearing it."

Silvio: "N-Nrgh! That's… tch! I guess you're right."

(Rashomon: "Mhrm! *Grrrr*)

Kenny: "Hehehee! Just come to me if you ever want to learn how to control it."

(???: "Tch! His partner is weak.)

Silvio: "What!? (What was that voice?) Mhm! Alright I will Kenny." *nod*

Dr. Yoltenheim: "I'll be reshaping the school back to normal now. Please lower your weapons and return to your base forms. Thank you!" *FWISH*

The school began to close in as the environments and torn asunder battlefields sank below its grounds. The buildings smoothly realigned with where they were originally and the ground beneath reset in. The students were all healed by the influence of the dome and randomly transported to parts of the halls they're highly familiar with. Thus ending Warren Warmen's Challenge day.

Dr. Yoltenheim: "Now that that's settled… the other Observers and myself will be tallying up the points and deciding the passing grades. Then we will announce the rankings and even hang many boards up around the school. Give us about ten minutes and chat amongst yourselves in the meantime. Thank you once more!" *fwiPOW*

Kenny: "Mhm… let's go Baaji and Drucidel."

Baaji: "Yep."

Drucidel: "He~eh! Let's fight again Scrâg." *step* *step*

Silvio: "Hey Kenny, was that voice I heard-"

Kenny: "Don't worry about it. You'll get your answer when you grow the balls to fight Rashomon! See you guys later."

Silvio: "Tch! That guy pisses me off."

Fong: *Pat* "Eh, Don't worry about it. That's just the way he is."

Silvio: "Whatever, all I know is… he's strong and was holding back."

Scrâg: "With who his dad is, it's no surprise. Either way, from the looks of your guys' match ending. You lost."

Silvio: "Tch!" *Clench*

(Rashomon: "Sucks for you, Zo'Meesz.")

Fong: "Don't fret, pretty sure you still ranked up."

Silvio: "N-Nrrrgh! Y-Yeah, guess you're right. (Dammit!)

Everyone began discussing their battles and performances. Trying to guess how high they had ranked up after everything. Dr. Yoltenheim comes back on a bunch of essence monitors to discuss those who passed or better to say those who qualified for Alpha. There were boards all over the school that showed who all passed this time around.

Dr. Yoltenheim: "This year, we had more Alphas than any year before with ten new alphas joining the ranks. I'm not one to dwell on a moment, but I will say that each of these ten students did great during this day. So please congratulate them if you see them in halls or classrooms. Now to announce our ten this year. Eh ehm we have;

Fong Flametress

Drucidel Boolat

Kenny Vermilli

Xebeel Vermilli Jr.

Morgeena Mor'Ganha

Silvio: "I-I'm an alpha!?"

Scrâg: "All three of us are!"

Fong: "Hmph. *Grin* (I'm guessing Morpheus became one as well.)

Kenny: "No surprise my brother and I passed. Good going you two, now we can leave without permission. All thats left is graduation."

Baaji & Drucidel: "Hell yeah!!"

Challenge day was over and many others were ending as well. With Fong being correct, Morpheus and the others had all become Alphas. All over the Colassaverse, many students were becoming alphas. Indefinitely solidifying their stance as being able to leave their clans without permission. There should be no worry for ANY student who has become one. They were all recognized as strong individuals who can take care of themselves. All that's left is to graduate.

At this time, Luminaria was also announcing their alphas. Dante was being tasked with the announcement when he was interrupted by one of his subordinates. They had news of great importance for him. He had Divina take over for their announcements as he went out back.

Dante: "What's going on?"

Assistant 1: "Maliik has infiltrated the main house of the Lumiaress. Reports say he's been going through King Williams' personal chambers."

Dante: "He WHAT!?"

Maliik: "It's time to expose this place, Lumiaress Castle." *Glare*

Challenge Day has ended and the alphas have been chosen. The Colossaverse rejoices for its young gods. But now trouble reaches Luminaria's doorstep again. What will be happening with Maliik as Haydes' search for Le Destrucíon continues…
