"Is it really ok for me to stay here? I can just stay at an inn."

"No, it's better for you to stay her. You probably wouldn't be able to find your way to the academy alone tomorrow, so it's better to go together again. It would be a bother for you to have to wait for us again, so it's better to just stay here."

The princess wanted to let me stay at a room in the palace for the night, her reasoning makes sense, but it's not as safe at just staying at a random inn somewhere in Raiken.

The royal palace may be safe from outsiders, but I worry more about the people inside of the palace.

"I guess it does make sense. Thanks for letting me stay here."

"No problem, after all we'll be classmates from tomorrow on. If you happen to need anything you can just leave the room and and then ask a butler. You shouldn't really have any trouble and my room isn't far from here either."

"Ok, I'll keep that in mind. Do we have anything left to do until tomorrow."

"No, you should go to sleep, it's been a long day, so you are probably tired."

I am tired, but I have one thing left to do.

"Well then, until tomorrow, Yori."

"Have a good night, princess."

I was about to enter the room, when the princess said one more thing.

"Oh, I almost forgot, someone will come and bring you new clothes tomorrow."

"Sure, thanks."

And then she turned back around and so did I and then entered the room I had been assigned.

It was quite a big room, there were different luxurious closets, a mirror and a bed.

It looked so comfortable after not being able to sleep in a normal bed for months.

When I set down, I could feel the exhaustion of that day. I had tried to keep anyone from noticing, but my eye still hurt, I even thought it would've maybe completely healed after all that time passed, but I guess I have to wait until tomorrow.

"No time to waste."

I got up again and opened my bag, put down my sword, bow and knife and got the things I had taken from the seal master out of the bag.

"I hope I'll find it quickly."

As I was quickly skimmed through the pages I was on the search for one specific type of seal.

I didn't even if it existed, but it had to.

"Not here either!"

I had already found the normal seal, the real one which had been engraved into my right eye, it was the first seal in that book.

I could also find the fake seal, although it had only been explained a lot further into the book. There are only a few dozen pages left, where is it-

"Is this it?"

I was quite excited from one moment to another and as I was reading the lines and pages quickly I was convinced that it was the exact thing I had been looking for.

"This can be really useful, although it's specific it could save me once."

I picked up the quill and dipped it into the black substance.

I went in front of the mirror and sat down.

"Calm down!"

I breathed in and out, slowly and naturally. I concentrated on the quill and then I infused my mana into it.

"What is happening?"

My darkness seemed to have swallowed the quill and even the already black substance, but something else seemed to have also happened.

I could see something with my right eye. In the mirror I could see that the seal had appeared and my pressure got unsealed.

"What is happen-"

Then I was suddenly overcome with a shocking pain in my right eye, it was the same pain, as I had experienced before a few hours ago.

It was only one moment, but in that moment I had already completely understood the process of the sealing of my right eye.

The quill in my hand felt natural and not unfamiliar, the thoughts in my head naturally connected with these memories and I seemed to have remembered everything about the new seal I had just read about.

My hand moved from itself and my other hand held my eye open. My instincts were kicking in and then it began.

At first I wanted to fight it, but then I quickly began to just go with the flow. I noticed that my body reacted exactly to my thoughts and wishes.

And the quill had already touched my eye. It was just as deep as it needed to be and without any hesitation my hand swiftly and cautiously moved the quill over my eye. I started to feel the pain, it hurt even worse than before, but that was only because both eyes started to hurt at the same time.

Solely my left eye felt less painful than my right eye did. Was it because I did it myself or was it because of some other reason, I couldn't tell, especially not at that moment.

I felt like my hand remembered exactly how it had to move and I had a vision of an unknown person, I didn't know that person and I couldn't see his face, but I could feel his gentle touch on my hand.

It seemed like he was gigantic or rather just taller than me, was it even me, I couldn't tell, but the light in front of me didn't reveal anything but that hand and then it was gone...

"What happened?"

I was on the ground and just laid there.

Did I lose consciousness? I can't say for sure, but it felt like it.

"Hmm?"

Looking around I could prove my assumption, outside of the window it was already dark, I couldn't see the sun at the horizon anymore.

How much time passed? I couldn't tell, but when I looked around a bit more I saw the mirror. And when I looked at it I exactly remembered what had happened.

After a few seconds only I must've seen the vision and in that time it was completed, it seemed even better than the real seal, which the seal master created for me.

The kanji for "seal" had been engraved into my eye and I could feel a connection in both eyes now.

Although I don't know how it happened I did manage to do what I wanted to do. Now I only needed to activate it.

"This will make it a bit harder for me in the future, but in the end it will definitely be worth it."

I tried to find it and I could feel the seal in my right eye, it felt different from the fake seal and the real seal, which had also been on my body. And more than anything it felt different from both of these seals on a fundamental basis.

"Is it because I was the one? Maybe?"

Well it doesn't really matter now, does it?

"Seal my power."

Instead of just disappearing my eye shined up in a mix of different colours and then it all disappeared into my eye in one quick motion. I could feel that my left eye had definitely been restricted, it had been sealed.

"I managed to really do it."

I quickly sealed my pressure and the seal on my other eye turned invisible like before and then I looked completely normal again, both of my eyes looked like nothing had ever happened to them.

This magic I have is really interesting.

Now that I finally calmed down I realized just how exhausted I was, even more than before I sealed my other eye.

But it was worth it!

"Let's go to sleep."

I lied down on the bed and immediately fell asleep, my eyes closed and my body began to rest.

That was really a long day, but also a really productive day!

But although the day was over and my body rested I was still somehow awake...

I thought I wasn't asleep, but I noticed something really bright, so I opened my eyes and looked around. I had been alerted by the light and thought I would've somehow not noticed someone coming into my room...

But I wasn't in my room anymore. I looked around and the bright light I had seen before... it was a barrier?

It seemed to endlessly rise up into the sky surpassing even the clouds.

"Rairyū, leave this place right now and we will not take any action."

It was the voice of a man and the person, who spoke out with that voice was covered by a red coat. There were a few dozen people, but I couldn't see, nor could I feel any mana from them nor in my surroundings.

I couldn't even feel my own mana, what had happened. Is this a dream?

"You dare to threaten me, do you perhaps not no that I could kill all of you easily?"

It was a voice so loud and powerful that I felt like it could even be heard kilometres away. It was an extremely rough and also clearly unfamiliar voice, something I had never heard before.

And when I turned my head to look where it came from, I saw a majestic creature surrounded by lightning. It was covered by light blue scales and two gigantic wings, in comparison to the that creature the other people seemed like ants.

"Where I stay and where I go is my business and this area isn't something people from the puleun namsaeng-i sect can interfere with, you are not active in this domain, so leave this place, before I'll really kill you."

He seemed furious, but why was he here and it didn't seem like that creature didn't just want to not obey them out of arrogance, but rather because it had to stay here.

"He probably isn't even alive anymore. Why don't you just leave, he doesn't have anything to do with you, does he?"

Even I could tell that he shouldn't have said that, the creature seemed to be furious now and was ready to snap and kill them.

"How dare you-"

But then everyone looked above and through the clouds was a person. I couldn't see his face, but flames were burning on his back, resembling wings like those of that creature.

"Huh."

I woke up and immediately looked around.

"Was it a dream?"

It was the same room I had been in and the sun was just at the horizon, causing the sunlight to look as beautiful as I had never seen before.

"What happened."

I couldn't tell exactly what was it, but I could tell that it was important. I couldn't tell why, but I just felt like it.

And I knew one thing for sure, that creature, although it didn't look like a normal one, it was a dragon, a beautiful and at the same time frightening creature.

And that person, who was it?

I don't want to say too much, but I would definitely keep this chapter in mind.
