A mistake

Looking at his companions, Ayden was angrier than ever. He couldn't just agree with the fact that his companions have dead just like that. The anger that was building inside him can not be expressed.

And now out of all, his hair floated for sometime before it started growing blue, his eyes also shone with blue and the ground under his feet freeze a little.

Everyone was left speechless again, Ayden has gone to his awaken form. Running at his full speed, everyone could tell that his speed has increased as well, they even doubt just because Xander has undergo in his awaken doesn't mean he will defeat Ayden since he has also awaken despite of his display of power. But then something unexpected occured.

At the time when everyone was hopeless as they waited for a one sided clash, throwing his ice blast Xander helding his hand forward was able to catch them on time and then his black fingers could be seen sunk in the ice attack before it melt and fall on the ground.

"How did he able to block that strong attack with just his hand?" Raya wondered loudly and everyone heard her.

Ayden didn't flinch despite his attack being blocked, instead he went for the next attack. Reaching Xander he covered his hand with ice before he thrust it forward, his hand went through to the other side, it's like Xander wasn't there at all. Looking well, he found whatever he has thrust wore a smirking expression, and before he realize, he felt an extremly pain from his back before a strange feeling invade him, something sunk inside his neck.

'What...?' Before he has even made up his mind, darkness engulf his vision....he passed out.

"Am I the only one imagine here." Aston said. "Had he clone himself or what?"

"No. I thought I was the only one dreaming but seems not the case at all." The voice came from the ground, and when they look at the direction they saw Ethan grunts as he pushed himself away from the ground. "He is real a monster."

"Xander stop!" Everyone turn their gaze and look at Xander again, truth to be told they even don't understand what Xander was doing so they let him do what he wished, it's not like they even care about Ayden. But now that they can see blood flowing from Ayden's neck, they started take a second guess.

"XANDER STOP." Claire shouted, she can see Xander was blood messy, thus she can atleast guess what was going on. Attempting to run toward him, he raise his hand and an invisible energy hold her in place. She struggle and struggle to break free with no avail.

Just then Ayden fell to the ground motionless and everyone could see Xander's hair decrease in size until it reached it's original size. The black substance which covered his half fingers were now no where to be seen, even the strange dark fierce aura which surrounded him seem to vanish. His full black eyes has also returned to it's normal colour.

Claire fell to her knees as the force holding her vanished too. Xander looks around at the mess he has caused, looking at his hands and clothes which were filled with blood....he panicked.

'I did this....I was aware of what I was doing at time, but...but I couldn't do anything...my body wasn't responding to me...It doesn't matter how hard I tried.' Xander thought as he continue to look his surroundings. Attempt to make a step, his legs lose strength to do so, he fell to the ground and everything became dark.

Opening his eyes, he first saw a ceiling board and some light globe here and there. Looking at the sides, there were two long tables laying at opposit sides, on top of them they were filled with different kind of drugs with different colours, some were liquid while others were gas like properties since they seem to move inside their tubes.

Looking at where he has slept, there were two white bed sheet. Connecting all the things he had seen, he now confirmed he is somewhere in a medical centre.

'Why am I here?' Xander wondered as he couldn't recall what lead him to be here. It didn't take long as images flashed in his head of what happenned during their hunt until he bit Ayden and suck blood out of all people. Snapped out, he quickly sat on the bed wondering what to do now.

'Shit shit! Why did you even attacked me at that time?' He cursed as if he was talking to a person besides him. 'They all saw me, what did they said to the sergeant? Did they tell them the whole truth? Arrggh...It's not like I care, I was just defending, he attacked me first.'

Walking slowly as if he was sneaking he reached the door and open it slightly, taking a peek he could tell he was back at the outpost. Guards were patroling the area as normal, there were also some warriors here and there, they seem to make strories as they were laughing and drinking what seems like hooch.

'I guess I should just left.' Just as he was plan to leave he heard a voice from behind.

"It's not good to left without telling a doctor." Looking back Xander saw Jason stand there with his arms folded.

'Damn it, this guy is sure annoying.' Xander commented as he went back to his beard.

"Besides you are needed in the office by the head sergeant. Now!"

"What!?....I mean why?" Xander bruptly out. 'It must be about what happened back in the forest. Now since I am thinking about it, I feel nervous.'

"You will find it out there." Jason said. Waking up they both left the room and head at the mansion.
