The next day, General Song Qing, Song Xia, and Song Huo came to Song Jia's residence.

Lu Ping led him to the hall where a sound barrier was erected.

"Grandfather, father, uncle.. What brought you here?"

"We know you're leaving today for the Tranquility Conservatory. We're here to see you off. I have instructed secret guards to follow and protect you." Song Xia told her, holding her hands.

She tilted her head, a helpless smile hung on her face. She hugged him. "Thank you, Father. I'll be alright."

Song Xia hugged her tighter. He was afraid that what happened before would happen again. The three of them wanted to go with her to protect her but were then reminded that she might be put in a difficult position instead of there's too much focus on her. Others would start to wonder about their special attention toward Song Huo's junior brother.

"I'm just worried that something will happen to you while you're traveling alone."
