Exploring

Jonathan and James were tasked with exploring the back half of the cruise ship, as they headed that way they both noticed that there weren't many things back there. They noticed a couple of benches, umbrellas and resting areas but nothing you couldn't find in a hotel. "Man we really got the bare end of the boat, no pun intended" James said with a bored look upon his face, as they explored more of the surface of the boat they decided that there wasn't anything else to see. "Maybe there's more below the deck?" Jonathan asked, James looked around and nodded at Jonathan. They went to the stairs leading down to the lower parts of the cruise and walked down the steps. There were cobwebs everywhere and it seemed like the custodians of the boat hadn't cleaned the staircase in a while. They went to the second floor below the deck, to see a dark uninhabited living quarters, "hmm, I didn't know that they had a haunted area, you think that it'll open later?" Jonathan had asked James, "I don't think this is a haunted house I think they just aren't using this floor for anything." James stated in response to Jonathan's question.

They kept walking around the eerie rooms fueled by nothing more than pure boredom, as they walked a shadowy figure moved out of the corner of James' eye. Immediately he got goosebumps and a bad feeling about the floor they were on and his hand started to shake slightly. "Hey man i think we should leave here" James stutterly said to Jonathan who seemed unbothered by their surroundings. "It's not a ghost, we were being followed." Jonathan said knowing how uneasy James was feeling, "who was following us?" "The worker girl from earlier, she prolly got more attitude to express." Jonathan said trying to lighten the mood, then before either boy could keep walking a figure walked out blocking their path. "Yall can't be back here!" said a different girl who was wearing white, "hmm what do you know it wasn't that girl" James said as a smartass remark. They both looked at eachother then looked at the girl and reluctantly started to head towards the staircase. "Hopefully the others are having a more interesting time than this" James muttered to himself.

On the other side of the boat the other 3 boys were exploring the front half of the ship, unlike the back there was a swimming pool, volleyball, basketball, and many more fun activities. "Guys what should we do first, I mean there's so much to do." Toby said with a lot of excitement in his voice, "I don't know, oh wait yes I do" Kymani said, then all three of them in unison yelled "SWIMMING". They all ran back to their room to get their swimsuits on and then ran to the swimming pool. It was a sunny day with no clouds in sight, truly the perfect weather for swimming. When they got to the pool it wasn't too packed with people so they all ran and jumped in the pool all doing a different trick with their jump, Kymani just did a generic cannon ball, Clayden pencil dived, and Toby, face planted after tripping on air. "Guys that was all part of my amazing trick of jumping in the pool" said Toby trying to hide the fact that it was in fact not part of the trick. They all swam around the pool like they were all main characters in a show, having the time of their lives, swimming from one end and going under the water to see how long they could hold their breaths. With smiles on their faces and laughter of joy erupting from all 3 of them they finally got out and dried off to see what other adventurous things they could find. "Hey Kymani, you think that we should get the other 2, so that we can hang out as a group?" Clayed asked, Kymani looked at Toby and Toby looked at Clayden, it was evident they all had the same response. "Nope, i think this is only a 3 man job" Kymani responded as they laughed and walked to the next thing.

They all headed towards the basketball court to play a game of horse. They weren't good at shooting but they enjoyed it nonetheless, but when they got to the court there was no one there and no basketball in sight. "How are you gonna have a full ass basketball court and no damn ball?" Kymani muttered with a look of both confusion and disgust. "Maybe they just have them in storage and haven't gotten them out?" Toby delusionally said knowing that wasn't right but it filled him with false hope. Feeling defeated, the 3 boys decided they were gonna try a different activity not including balls, "How about we go to the dance floor?" Clayden said, trying to brighten the mood. "Wait, they have one of those here?" Toby asked, he got excited because dancing was something all of them enjoyed and it filled him with joy, feeling giddy and excited he calmed himself agreeing to go to the dance floor. Once at the supposed dance floor their smiles quickly faded as there was no music, no body, and no dance floor. "Dude it's just a mat they laid on the floor" Kymani said observingly, "This shits ass, this is supposed to be a 4 star cruise" Clayden frustratingly muttered.

By this time the boys' moods went from excited to aggravated as they walked back to their room hoping to meet up with the other 2 to see what they found. As they were walking they saw the same worker girl from earlier and while Clayden and Toby kept walking Kymani wanted answers of why the cruise was such a let down. "Hey blonde with an attitude!" Kymani yelled, grabbing her attention, "Im gonna pretend that you didn't say that, what do you want" she aggressively said to him. "Yeah wanna explain to me how this supposed 4 star cruise doesn't have food, no balls for any of the courts and no actual dance floor?" Kymani clearly pissed off standing in a way that a mom would when she got a call from school about their kid. "Listen we just weren't prepared for such an early cruise, it came out of nowhere, we were supposed to go on a cruise in June, not immediately when summer started." She said not able to make eye contact with him on account of the pure anger in his eyes, "But I promise that by tomorrow we will have all our activities ready for the public, so yall can enjoy your cruise." She said hoping to calm Kymani's nerves, Kymani just turned and continued walking to his room without giving any response. "This is some unbelievable shit" he muttered angrily as he stormed off. *maybe this cruise wasn't the best use of our money* he thought to himself walking back feeling incredibly defeated.
