A Curious Phobia

"We're here! Sorry for the wait," Hima announced as she led Geale inside the restaurant bar.

Geale placed the bags of food Hima bought on the counter where Ainsely and Ken, who recently arrived for work, opened them up.

"Perfect, I'm hungry!" Ainsely exclaimed.

"Don't eat too much, you'll feel sleepy," Ken warned.

"You still have a shift, Ainsely," Tia chimed in.

"I know!"

Everyone was busy teasing Ainsely that they didn't notice Hima approach Marnthe. The two of them were on their way to the office when Geale noticed them.

"Did something happen?" Ken whispered to Geale.

"Hima and I ate snacks at the bus station."

"Jealous, Ken?" Ainsely teased, catching them talking.

"Jealous of what?"

"Hima and Geale went out on a date."

"They met each other at the bus station and ate snacks together," Ken corrected.

That surprised Geale. Ken actually knew what he and Hima did.

"See? He knows about it," Quin said. "It had his blessing."
