Vulcan's Teachings

Vulcan stepped through the portal and appeared before the lizardfolk subspecies and the red ant species. When both species saw this they immediately began running away from their homes, grabbing their children as a humanoid figure made up of flames and metal walked towards them with a hammer in hand. The warriors of both species surrounded Vulcan immediately with a bit of sweetness running down their faces. Seeing all this Vulcan sighed a little, and rubbed his temple in frustration. Taking a look at their weapons Vulcan's eyes began to burn hotter and become wild. He couldn't believe the crude weapons they created.

Taking a big breath of air he began to roar out in frustration and his flames began to grow higher and become bluer.

"WHAT THE HELL TYPE OF WEAPONS ARE THESE!"

The warriors were pushed back by Vulcan's booming voice, and some planted their spears in the ground holding on for dear life. Calming down a bit Hephtaus tore down one of the small nearby huts, not killing anyone inside, and began using the stone and wood to create a crude furnace. Walking past the warriors he grabbed some wood and a piece of red metal and created a small fire underneath the furnace even adding a bit of his own to it to make it more powerful.

As the flames settled a bit Vulcan grabbed a crude stone pan and put the metal on top of it, covering it with a similar pan. Putting the pan in, he left it there and grabbed a large rock in hand and slashed a part off it, and began carving a blade mold into it. After he was done with that he went back over and began to turn the pan, making sure it doesn't stick to the stone pan. After hours of turning, he took the pans out and opened them up, and poured the liquid metal into the sword mold. He made sure none of the liquid metal poured out and sat it down on a flat surface. Vulcan slapped himself as he realized he forgot something else.

Opening up a small blue portal he reached his left hand in and began to root around for something. Vulcan smiled and pulled out a black tong tool, and using both hands grabbed the now settled blade. Grabbing it with the tongs he went over to a nearby water source and put it in, cooling the blade off. Vulcan began hammering the blade, making sure it was refined and neat. Setting the blade aside, he approached a large nearby boulder and broke it apart. Vulcan grabbed one of the large stone pieces creating a crude stone sword guard with some basic symbols put in. Putting the blade in, he started molding the sword guard to fit into the blade and make sure it was nice and sturdy.

Swinging the blade around a bit Vulcan smiled and put a bit of his own mana into it, merging with the already stored mana. Suddenly a fierce flame broke out from it, and he swung a few times, before dispersing the flames and setting the sword aside. Vulcan looked back and saw the various warriors and a few curious people with their mouths a gap. Seeing this a smile formed on his fast and he began laughing a bit, sitting down he spoke aloud, not with anger but with joy.

"Sorry about all the yelling and destruction, but seeing you fail to melt this ore was just frustrating."

"My name is Vulcan god of fire(element), craftsmen, and advancement."

Hearing this the people bowed in reverence setting their weapons aside, a few of the draconian folk, dinosaur folk, and hybrids approached with interest in the blade. Looking it over they couldn't help but admire it and look at it with curiosity and awe. Seeing this a small tear made of red flames went down his cheek. Wiping it off he looked at the people admiring his work.

"You want to know how to make it?"

Immediately they nodded their heads in excitement, bowing right in front of Vulcan in a begging position. Seeing this Vulcan picked them up, making sure not to burn them and grabbed a nearby stone hammer, and began teaching. First, he taught them to create the molds for the weapons or armor they want to make. Next, he began teaching them the furnace's inner makings and what materials to use for it. Then he taught them how to use the "pans" as a way to heat the ore from all sides, making sure they wore thick gloves in the process. Once that was done he motioned how to carefully pour the contents into a mold.

As the contents settled a bit and formed into their final shape, he used the tongs and motioned on how to use the bones or stone tools to grab it. He then put his tool into the nearby water, cooling it off. Putting it aside he showed them how to create the handles for the tools of strappings needed for the armor. Once they finished the equipment, he began again making sure to hammer his teachings in. As Vulcan finished his teachings, he had the biggest smile on his face as they went on their own. Creating their own weapons and equipment without his help.

Behind him, a blue portal appeared and he stepped through taking one last group he saw his hardworking disciples and smiled. Relaxing a bit he stretched out before closing the blue portal and opening up another one. Stepping through it he appeared in a semi-lush jungle with both the purple humanoids and black ants saw him. Some of them dropped their items and ran away immediately either underground or to faraway huts. The warriors stayed and pointed their weapons at him.

Seeing all this, Vulcan couldn't help but feel a little nostalgic, after all, it took quite a few years to fully teach them how to masterfully craft and become proper blacksmiths.

"This is a sight for sore eyes, well let's get to work."

Vulcan has been introduced and now the Lizardfolk, Ants, and Demons now worship Vulcan. Hope you enjoyed reading.
