The Experiment

Deep within the Yursa Kingdom, in the capital of Bara and deep underground was a gigantic laboratory. There were only four sections, each one built for a specific purpose. The first one was the various room for each scientist that worked there, the second was a freezer, a place to store various samples they've collected over the years, the third one was the experiment room where they would research all they could about the samples, and perform disgusting thing, and the final room was locked from everyone but the lead scientist.

Their research group totaled 12 each one with a specific purpose, with a goal in mind. With that goal being to create the perfect organisms, something with the power of the various monsters and the knowledge, wisdom, and intellect of the three races. A being designed to be the perfect tool for their god.

It was a bright day on the surface, but for them, it was just another day and the only ones in the experimental room were a demon, a black ant, and a draconic folk each one wearing a thick white lab coat. The demon was a woman named Cancer, who wore small black glasses with various symbols embedded in them and wore crimson pants and thick crimson gloves. She brought out the different complete body parts that weren't taken apart yet to be stitched together or to take samples off them.

The next one was the black Ant named Ares, who wore a thick white lab coat like the rest of his group. He wore thick brown boats and wore medium-sized brown gloves. In their hands was a surgical saw and tongs ready to peel anything off if necessary. The last one was the tall female draconic folk named Libra who wore half a black masked, with a fixed smile on their face. She wore a white lab coat, brown leather pants, and black boots. She didn't wear gloves and her hands were littered with scars and were holding a clipboard.

Libra spoke in a quiet manner whilst writing something on her clipboard.

"Test #100: Hydra cells introduced into Yeti arm to see if regeneration is transferable."

She looked at Ares who set down the surgical saw and picked up a syringe full of a green/purple liquid. Then she looked at Cancer who had gotten a Yeti arm from the freezer and had placed it on an operation table strapping it down. They moved away allowing room for Ares to inject the blood. They approached it carefully and grabbed hold of the arm, injecting the hydra blood quickly and moving away. The only one who remained close to the arm was Libra who studied with no change of expression or emotion.

It took 20 minutes for there to be a reaction, the arm suddenly started sharing violently, and the table as well. The place where the arm was cut off started expanding with the new skin being reptile skin and deep green. After an hour, their body fully recovered, but instead of being a full-blown yeti with regenerative abilities, it was essentially a hydra with the body of a yeti. Libra sighed writing something on a clipboard whilst mumbling.

"Test 100 unsuccessful subjects body was fully recovered, but it still retained the hydra organs and skin with the only change being the body shape."

She looked at Cancer who had a somewhat nervous expression on her face.

"Put the body near the Forbidden door, and then get me another sample."

They nodded and got a stretching putting the whole body onto it. They wheeled it away passing by the living quarters before reaching a gigantic black door with gold buttons and red handles. They carefully took the body off placing it right in front of the door, ready for whatever was to happen. She wheeled it away quickly leaving the body to whatever lay beyond that door. She promptly passed by the dorms, going straight for the freezer.

It was a large gray room, with a large white metallic door that was heavily locked. She put the stretcher aside and went through her pockets grabbing a small gold key with odd inscriptions on it. She twisted the lock opening the door slowly letting the cold air out before she entered. She saw the various body parts hanging by the hooks and began searching through them trying to find a yeti part. 20 minutes later she found a yeti leg and grabbed it bringing it to the stretcher.

She strapped it down and brought it back to the experimental room where the other two were waiting patiently. She placed the stretcher in the center of the room, allowing the other two to approach it. Libra wrote something down on her clipboard while speaking softly to herself.

"Test #101: Hydra cells introduce to Yeti leg to see if regeneration is transferable."

She looked at Ares who nodded and approached the Yeti leg with the same syringe in hand, with some slight modification to the liquid it contained. It was now a green/black/purple mix instead of the dual color it was before. They injected the yeti leg and quickly moved back. Libra paid close attention this time, hoping that this test would be a success. Libra was the only one who stayed close to the body part, making sure to pay extra attention this time.

It took one hour for there to be any reaction, the leg started regenerating with the regrown yeti parts remaining simple yeti parts. It was much slower than the last one but the entire body remained fully Yeti, at least the surface level. Once the process was done she snapped her fingers and pointed at Ares. They understood immediately and grabbed a surgical saw cutting the fully regenerated corpse to see if the insides were the same as a regular yeti. Peeling the skin back, Libra began searching through the organs, studying each one to make sure they were the same as a normal Yetis.

She smiled getting her hands out of the corpse and got her clipboard. She wrote something down whilst mumbling with a happy smile on her face.

"Test #101: The test was successful and the subject's body was fully regrown, I repeat the hydra cells were successfully transferred."
