For Me

Today is the first day after my awakening. I thought a lot about it last night and I don't want to think about it anymore. I was a reader, who loved fantasy and I didn't have any solid connection to that world so it was easy for me to move on.

Right now, I'm on my way to the guild to eat something and accept a mission to complete. This is my daily routine because I don't have anything to do except this one.

Eldric Silverquil is the guild receptionist and a retired adventurer. He was the old man who took care of me and gave me his room last night.

I found the herb sooner than I expected and I didn't encounter any mob on my way. The only problem was I needed to sleep inside the forest and I didn't find any eatable so I only ate bread but like check this page full of healing herbs.

I accept another herb mission which is the only profitable, and right now I'm on my way to the forest close to our town which isn't that long but the forest itself is twice the size of the capital of the impier. Some even say that our town is located in one of the best geographical locations even though it's a remote location.

There is a saying that a lot of powerful beings live deep inside the forest and a lot of stuff happening that nobody knows about. Thankfully there is nothing special about the outer region of the forest. Even though a lot of monsters live in the outer region, they are not strong enough to cause any problems.

Now I'm going to the previous location where I found the pack of herbs previously, maybe my luck be kind to me and I will find something good.

Goblins. There are E-rank monster that moves in groups. I can handle one pretty easily with the knife I have but the problem starts after that.

I need to hide myself. It's getting darker and I need to find a spot to sleep without any worries.

Last night, I found an empty cave I checked if any anime lived there by checking if there was any fur left behind by an animal which there wasn't so it was the perfect spot to settle down. I found a fruit by a tree that looked like an apple and I decided to eat it with some bread that I brought along with me.

I reach my destination. Where I am right now is the exact spot where I found the healing herbs previously. The surroundings are so beautiful that somebody might forget about the fact that this forest is called Chaos Forest.

Goblins are chasing me down I can run out of them but it's been more than 10 minutes and they still chasing me. I need to secure a spot before I get exhausted.

- As I walked around looking for the herbs needed for the mission, I encountered a group of Goblins again. Luckily, they didn't spot me because I was perfectly hidden. After some time of searching, I found a bush full of herbs. It was sufficient for the mission, but I decided to continue searching to maximize my earnings. While I was looking around, I stumbled upon something strange and ominous.

In the middle of the forest stands a sword, perfectly stuck into the ground vertically, surrounded by natural plants. although the sword is in bad shape, the fact that it remains upright and is encircled by old plants gives it a mysterious and ancient quality. It seems as though the sword has been there for more than a thousand years.

I think the material used on this sword going to be worth it if I bring it back with me.

Let's take this sword out of the ground. I don't know why but I feel like Arthur who is about to take Excalibor out of the stone.
