CHAPTER TWELVE

A BREAK ANITA.

They both walked into the classroom...

Everyone were chattering..staring at her with their cellphones in their hands.

CHATTER! CHATTER! CHATTER!!!

"Look at her, BITCH!... isn't she ashamed?...He had a great time with her in bed..love beds hahaha.." they murmured.

"Anita, what's this?" Betty asked rushing towards them with her cellphone looking so shocked.

"WHAAAATT????" Anita said shockingly as she dazed backwards with her hands covering her mouth, seeing herself in that video.

Austin couldn't believe who he just saw in that video.

"My goodness." Anita said as she ran out of the classroom.

"Anita." Austin called as he ran out after her..

same with Betty looking so worried.

Anita ran to the schools field and wept bitterly...

just then Austin got to her..

"What was that video about Ani?" He asked going mad.

"I Really don't Know how that video got to happen." She said in a tearing tone.

"Who was that guy in the video? are you cheating on me?" He tossed weakly at her.

"No, he didn't do anything with me I was being framed." She shivered.

"How did you get to meet him in the first place..?" Austin tore hard.

"Priscilla introduced him to me." She witted.

"oh now you go on blind dates?" he cuts.

"I was drunk..am sorry, I can never cheat on you babe." she pleaded.

"That Priscilla is really getting on my nerves." he said angrily.

"No don't go to her." Anita tried begging him.

Austin went up to class two...

"Priscilla." he cried out as he walked to her desk and grabbed her hand.

Everyone in class two was shocked to see that. He took her out to the hallway..

"Hey...What do you think you are doing holding me this way." She yelled.

just then she saw Anita who was a bit spaced away from them.

Now the whole school was watching...

He snapped her hand away...

Hey Anita, did you see that video? I can't believe you did that with a guy you just met." Priscilla said with a joking look.

"Sniffs...you framed this didn't you..I thought you wanted to be my friend." Anita cried.

"What me?" Priscilla pretending she didn't know a thing about it.

"Yes, I introduced you to Thomas, but I didn't say you should go have a night with him did I?" she cried out.

"Hey.. don't you dear mention that Priscilla..drop what ever thing you've got to do with this Alright." Austin yelled gripping his hands tight.

"And besides you dropped this at Thomas."

Priscilla brought out the gold necklace Austin got Anita and threw it to the ground.

Austin grind hard at the necklace as he picked it from the ground.

Everyone was surprised at what was going on.

Austin walked to Anita who was tearing, pulled her closer to him and kissed her straight.

Now the crowd was sliced.

"What do you think?..that I would break up with her? nah you got it all wrong. I love Anita more than anything in this world and not even you or a mere video can take that love away cause I trust her." He said with a straight face.

Anita couldn't help but glance at him with tears in her eyes.

Now everyone was stunned...

Priscilla gripped her hands tight out of anger.

He then takes Anita out of sight.

At the school premises...

"I really wished you told me about Priscilla sooner." he tore.

"Am sorry babe..I wasn't thinking getting all drunk." She apologized.

"Am your boyfriend Anita..Aarg this is driving me crazy." he puts his hands on his head looking so mad.

"You could have told me earlier today when I told you not to hide anything from me." he blasted.

"I didn't know how to bring myself to telling you that, and I didn't know about the video." she explained.

"Gush that guy touched you Anita, the thoughts of that alone stewing in my head gets me so mad." he said.

"Am sorry." she begged.

"You know what I need a break from all this, it's just so hurting." He said bitterly.

"I love you so much Anita..I just wish you told me things more." He said sadly with a tear running down his face.

He then took her hand from his and walked away.

Anita went to the ground wept bitterly...

Betty walked slowly to her and consoled her.

For a whole week Anita became the news of the school.

A WEEK LATER..

AT ANITA'S PLACE...

"I feel totally dead... why is my life such a mess?, even the one guy I love so much doesn't want to talk to me..., we haven't spoken in a week and when we meet in class he doesn't even ask how am doing." Anita said as she drowned her head in bed.

"Aarg, this is driving me, I have wept me eyes out this past week...I feel sick of life ..." she topped.

AT AUSTIN'S PLACE...

seated in the living room.. staring at his cellphone.

"Sighs.. it's been a week since I last spoke to her; I feel so bad all this happened to us. I should text her. " He hesitated..

" No, not yet, I can't bring myself to do that yet.. I told her I need a break.. I wish I didn't.

this makes me sad. " he cracked.

"Aarg, I miss her so much." He said with his eyes closed.

AT BETTY'S PLACE...

Up in her room...

"I hope Ani is doing alright.. am glad they brought down that video..

Austin made sure they took it down.. Anita doesn't know about it and I promised him I won't tell.

This past week was hard for her, I feel really bad for her.. if only she had listened to me and not try to be friends with that useless Priscilla." Betty said disgusted.

AT AN ABANDONED QUARTERS...

"HAHAHA...you shuou have seen both there faces when they saw the video." Lilly laughed loudly.

Priscilla you came up with a really good plan." Bella said.

"That's being smart." Priscilla praised herself.

"That was mind blowing." Stacy giggled.

"I noticed they've not been talking lately like he doesn't give her attention anymore..I think they had an issue over the video."Hannah supported.

"Guys, I will make sure they never end Happy, I will make her suffer he would have no choice but to come to me." Bella groaned.

AT ANITA'S PLACE...

"Gush, exams will be coming up in a week time and I don't even have the strength to study... all this is driving my mind out." she whinned.

"Should I text Austin?..I really miss him, how long does he want this Break? or doesn't he love me anymore? This is so sad." she cried.

EVENING...

" Anita come down for dinner." Mrs Stella called from the dining room.

Two minutes pasted...

"Why isn't she answering? her food will get cold." Mrs Stella wondered.

she climbed up the stairs and went into Anita's room.

Anita laid lifelessly in bed..

"Get up from bed already." Mrs Stella bashed her with a pillow.

"Mum am not hungry." she yelled.

"You've been acting weird lately and right now you look so unkept." Mrs Stella said.

Anita turned over facing her back to her mum's face.

"I just don't feel hungry mum." She said.

"But you can't sleep on an empty stomach." Her mum yelled.

Anita got up from the bed took her sweater.

"Mum, I have to step out for fresh air." she said with a straight face.

"Oh no young lady you ain't going anywhere." Her mum stood from the bed looking serious.

"Mum please, I just want to be okay." Anita said as she walked down the stairs.

Her mum stood on the stairs with folded hands.

"Am sorry mum, I will be back." she said softly.

"Sigh alright, be home soon." Mrs Stella said.

"I will." she said as she walked out of the house.

OUTSIDE...

"Aarg, I just want relief from my stress.." She said as she walked on the street.

"I think I need a drink to push out my pain." She said as she enters into a mini restaurant "SERVE ME." got the drink and sat outside to drink her pain out.

AT AUSTIN'S PLACE..

"I need to walk out for a bit, to get this off my mind." Austin said as he puts on his top and a sweat. "it's gonna be pretty cold outside. I wonder what shes doing." He Wondered.

OUTSIDE THE RESTAURANT...

"Wow.. hahaha... woooow.." Now she was drunk..

"Everything looks so small..and rough." she said.

"Why, is the sky so far away..but look at how big the stars are hahaha." she cracked.

Austin walking by..

"Why." Anita said.

"Uhn, what's she doing here."he was shocked.

He stopped and watched her..

"Sniffs, sniffs..Why did everything have to be this way? why am I not meant to be Happy? why did the person I love ask for a break..? Now she was weeping bitterly..

"Doesn't he know I love him..I feel so lonely.

I hate myself for being like this." she said as she swings her hand drunk.

Austin stood there feeling so sad and walked towards her then took her hand collecting the bottle of liquor from her..

"Hey give me that." she stretched out her hand for the liquor as Austin raised his hands high with it.

"I want my drink this instant..sniffs.." she said as she halts.

"Don't do this to yourself Anita." He said calmly.

"Don't Tell me what to do when I want to pour my heart out. Who are you? crazy." she giggled drunk fully.

"My gush you so drunk Ani." He said worried.

"I want back my drink." her legs wiggled and she almost fell to the ground just then Austin grabbed from her waist to prevent her from falling.

"You drunk Ani, you need to get home now."

he said just then he backed her...

"Let go off me, are you kidnapping me?" she yelled.

"Be calm am taking you home." He said as he sets her well on his back.

A minute later...

"I love you." she said at his back.

Austin's heart paused for a moment..

"I wish you were here Austin." she wept and slept off

"I love you too Anita..." He said softly.

Austin got to her house and pressed on the door bell.

"Am coming." Mrs Stella said as she opened the door.

She was shocked to see Anita on Austin's back.

"Hello ma'am." He said.

"oh, hello Austin.. come..come in." still surprised.

"She's drunk, show me to her room, I have to her in bed." he said.

"Oh, yes right this way dear." she sagged in her heart.

Austin went into Anita's room with her at his back and laid her In bed.

"She has a cute room." he thought then he looked at her.

"Am sorry Anita for causing you this." He said sadly.

He and Mrs Stella walked down the stairs.

""Thank you for bringing her home Austin...

she has really been wet in mind." Mrs Bella said.

"Am glad I could bring her home." he smiled.

"You should have dinner her I will make you dinner ok."

"uhm sorry ma'am I have to get going." he pointed out.

"Am sure you've not eaten yet dear, it won't take long ok, let me make you dinner as a sign of my appreciation." she gave a wider smile.
