Child of AI (417 Words)

Abyssal darkness encompasses all and reaches even the farthest corner of the dimension with the only light existing being an absolutely enormous river of glowing and ethereal things.

Thy flow along an unseen path until they split into millions of smaller streams that each end at a gate guarded by some kind of being.

This is the river of reincarnation, responsible for a great multitude of universes to cycle the souls of living beings back to them.

Each gate represents one of those universes, and the being guarding it is a representative of it responsible for the continues flow of their respective stream.

But there is another being inside this dimension, a rather old one who that has spent an untold amount of time sitting beside the mains stream of the river looking at all the passing souls as if searching for something.

The gate guardians have long wondered what that ancient being was looking for, but none dared to interact with the enormous creature made up of purely information, complex diagrams and geometrical shapes.

Because of that they no longer paid any attention to it and so they missed the tiny shift of its body that took the form of a single 0 turning into a 1.

And neither did they realize that a new soul appeared in the river of reincarnation, not that any of them would be powerful enough to discern the uniqueness of said soul that is hidden under the disguise of a normal soul.

As the soul disappeared within the river and drifted off to be reincarnated in one of the many universes drawings from these souls a single sentence was muttered unheard by the ancient creature.

"Good luck my child."

The soul soon entered one of the gates and then disappeared from the dimension.

In the universe it entered it then got reincarnated as a human on a certain planet going by the name of Earth.

It spent 36 years in that world before an accident ended it early and the soul disappeared from the universe to return to the river of reincarnation.

But as it arrived there, it became clear that something is different about it.

Looking around with curiosity at the magnificent scenery around it the soul soon laid eyes upon the enormous form of the ancient being resting next to the river.

As it did it felt a deep connection to the being whose mere form exceeds its comprehension and instantly knew the true nature of their relationship.
