Knowing that the magical world was heading towards destruction as the statue of secrets will eventually be breached due to muggle advancement Harry Potter(Master of death ) Hermione Granger and best witches and wizards of their time put their heads together to create a one-time-use magical transportation object to transport all magicals( This means plants objects people creatures everything magical will last 50 years on Earth before crumbling transporting any muggle-born when they are born leaving behind a stillbirth )To a new planet so they may rebuild can grow as a society along with all the magicals To support this Hermione Granger brought past and all current muggle advancement with them as well so they may rebuild better and stronger. Fast forward to 2150 ce magical Society has grown now relies on both magical and Technology call magitech Magicals have grown and now mostly populate their new planet having many new technologies and magics as well as being a spacefaring civilization but have not really explored the whole solar system due to still trying to increase there civilization and population on the planet they are currently on At the edge of the solar system a dormant Mass relay awakens and the new system Alliance has came through what changes will bring do the Mass Effect universe now that magic has taken back its place
