He had us make a detour to the kitchen to grab some beers and gave me a quick tour before climbing back up to the third floor and opening the door to the terrace.
The Alpha's House was a huge three-story building with offices and a library taking up most of the first floor, a big living area, kitchen, dining room, and two bedrooms made up the second floor, and the third floor had five bedrooms, where all the siblings' rooms were.
Their parents were on the second floor, and the remaining rooms were guest rooms. As we walked, Zane pointed out the rooms for each sibling. Zane's room was across the hall from Storm's, Alma's was at the far end, and Quinn's was before Alma's. The room between Alma's and Quinn's was empty.
"I don't spend most of my nights here though," Zane tells me as we sit on the wicker chairs, opening a bottle and handing it over to me. The evening breeze was amazing.
I take a swing of my beer. "Thanks. I thought you lived here."
