Normal Start - [ Chapter - 3 ]

After pressing the date on the panel a bright light blinded him and when he opened his eyes it was the first time he ever entered the tower again, there was the guide and the other newbies.

Ho-Seok acted along as a newbie and looked around the tower amazed like the other newbies and after that the guide showed them the newbie training area, it was a place full of low level monsters.

The guide told them to bring out the weapon that the system gave them since that would be the best weapon for you to choose, but Ho-Seok brought out Calin as the normal sword that the artifact absorbed.

And after bringing out Calin, they figured out they can talk directly to each other since they were soul-bounded and Ho-Seok had to act like he was scared of the monsters at first but quickly acted like it was okay after a bit.

Then after that the tour of the tower was over and the newbies were allowed to leave the tower whenever they want or they could continue training and fight monsters, Ho-Seok decided to move away for a bit.

And after he did, he checked his second player profile and he gave himself a few stat points on each stat but there was one thing that confused Ho-Seok, it was what the experience points was useful for.

But as for what it does he didn't have anyone to ask and Calin only knew what Ho-Seok told him, so he would have to figure that out later on but he decided to learn some skills that he didn't learn before.

Because he knew that even if he couldn't use them in this life he would be able to use it in the next life as an overpowered skill and he even took the skill which was thought as the worst starter skill.

The skill was amazing in dangerous situations your stats would be multiplied by 2 for 5 minutes but after words your stats would be cut in half for 30 minutes but Ho-Seok also realized that the skills he learned before doesn't have a cooldown anymore.

But Ho-Seok knew that there should be an equivalent price for using such an overpowered ability since he could just kill himself after learning the skill, so Ho-Seok decided to check if there were any skills that didn't go along with him.

And he found out that you have to master the skill before Ho-Seok could use it but it would take so long to add proficiency to any of his skills since his proficiency rate is cut in half but then he saw that there was a plus button just like for stats.

When he pressed it, the proficiency went up by one and he checked what was used and he realized the experience points was the one that was used so Ho-Seok used up all his experience points to upgrade all the skills he could.

He wasn't even able to master 1/4 of all of his skills but the skills he mastered were the best ones he had and he started to go hunt monsters to gain more experience points and thanks to the bunch of stat points he put on his stats it was easier to hunt.

And he also mastered a passive detection skill so that he could have better senses when someone's watching him and he could act a bit weaker when people are, he was able to level up a bit but without his weakening penalty he only gained a bit of experience points.

After that Ho-Seok went into a cave where no monsters were and so he could have a talk with Calin and after going into the cave, Ho-Seok asked if Calin remembered anything important when he was made.

『Sorry Ho-Seok, I only remember being placed onto my pedistal and nothing else.』

After hearing that Ho-Seok was a bit disappointed since he couldn't find anything about Calin since he wanted to know how Calin was made and why but he didn't tell Calin this and just said he could of made other egos and left them like him.

And when Calin heard this he asked Ho-Seok if he could let his artifact absorb them too since he didn't want others like him to suffer anymore like he did and he wanted Ho-Seok to save them.

Ho-Seok agreed to do so but then he remembered every ego had it's own special ability and so Ho-Seok asked Calin what was his ability since he was curious to know what it is.

『Sorry Ho-Seok, I really don't know, I was never used and was just placed on the pedistal.』

So He-Seok had to find out himself what was Calin's ability and he started thinking about abilities that had to do with swords since he was a sword when he was created so he asked Calin to change into his previous sword.

And so He-Seok started trying out everything he could think of to release like adding mana into the sword but nothing worked but he still continued for a bit and again nothing happened but then suddenly some people appeared at the cave entrance.

Ho-Seok knew he didn't do anything to leave a trail to get caught but he found out that one of them had a tracking and hiding skill and he found Ho-Seok without him noticing.

And they were the same people who followed him before and he was curious as to why they were following him but then he heard that they were thinking looting his corpse and his weapon to sell it.

This enraged Ho-Seok since these people were nothing but trash so Ho-Seok added more stat points to each of his stats and he asked Calin if he was ready because he was going to fight them and kill them.
