The royal capital is very populated

It's very cramped with all this people bumping each other.

My only destination is the big castle not far from here. Although I don't think they will let some dirty runt get into that place, also almost all of the people were distancing themselves away from me despite the crowded streets.

I mean I'm not complaining because I don't have to fit myself through.

Oh I left them all alive because where's the fun in that if I just killed them all? I want them to take revenge on me, to chase after me. I know they would, they are arrogant and prideful people after all. Their reputation surely had gone downhill because of the news I intentionally spread.

As of now the only issue I need to solve is my clothing and probably my smell, I didn't get to wash in the mansion and only took all of the good things I can sell. I guess I should wash on a river on the nearby forest.

I'm currently in a fancy restaurant eating all the food that rich people eat. I'm all clean and dressed up too, I stole a dress drying from the sun near a house and wore it, I eventually have to change it to a new dress that I bought on a cheap store because the owner of the dress might have saw me wearing it and might cause problems.

I returned the dress though, too bad I already wore it.

Finishing my food and paid, I walked outside the building and just then I realized the sun setting in the distance.

I should postpone my way to the royal castle for now and look for a place to sleep.

Reading those lots of books secretly, really helped me a lot. Mostly of it being romance stories, and fantasy where the travelers often stay in an inn.

After settling in the room I started to think of a plan and what I'm going to do in the castle.

Well first is, I should probably sneak in. Change my clothes into something that doesn't catch attention.

I stared at my palms thinking of the possible abilities I have yet to discover. But first is I have to rest properly so I could continue tomorrow without problems.

As my back hit the comfortable mattress of the bed, I have finally experienced the comfort I used to have before.

That is probably the best rest I had after those years that I didn't notice the time. It's already afternoon and feeling my stomach rumble. Now, I am capable of not eating for long but that doesn't mean that I don't feel hungry at all. It's grueling, but I have to endure.

Well it's not a problem now that I can eat whatever I liked.

Walking past the people, the view of the castle came more clearer and clearer, It's much bigger that I thought.

The people walking near the place became less and less as I approached it. A gigantic gate guarded by knights came into view.

Now the question is how can I pass the guards? Should I do what I have done to the warden and those knights back at the mansion? But I'm certain I won't be able to hold them in place if they're out of my range. They will notify the other knights and my cover will be blown...

Or, if I can cause a distraction enough for the knights to get out of their posts and all the other possible knights inside as well.

The only problem is what destruction is enough for them to leave their posts?

I squinted my eyes to check if there's something I can use but a certain glint in front of the castle made me realize something.

Of course.

Knights wouldn't be enough to secure the whole place.

I might have something that can help me now and put me in trouble in the future.

You see, the place is covered in a protective shield. I'm certain that some people are able to pass that with no problem. Those are important people who are permitted to go inside.

There's a familiarity of the shield and to this token that I took from the mansion mostly because it's shining and have a value, but I didn't know the value of this is that 'high'.

The reason why it can help me and put me in trouble in the future is because first, I will have no problem getting inside undetected of course, I still plan to sneak inside. I'm not taking any chances of them getting suspicious of me for having this token. And last of course, if the owner of that mansion back in the fields found out I have this. They might-- no, they will report it to the king and I will be wanted.

I guess you could say it being in my favor but being wanted and your face displayed everywhere might be pretty annoying. I thought it will be just them chasing after me but I mistakenly might have dragged the royalties on this chase.

Well I can worry about the future later.

Or I might happily welcome more people on this cat and mouse chase.
