"What did you just say", Ant began to scold, he himself had just explained to the crowd, while she was stuck in her own thoughts so she didn't hear him, that he was contemplating whether to go into the police after he left the army or to start his own security company which he chose the latter as he had the opportunity to work closely with his father and his company. "Soldiers defend the country and police man protect the citizens and what he is JUST a policeman", he shouted. Andrea startled was ready to defend herself when Ian nudged her and pulled her attention to the appalled reactions of the crowd directed towards her. Realizing she had made a mistake, she tried to back track, but Maxi continued where her husband left off. "Maybe you are forgetting your boyfriend's family roots in the military and civil service that you are saying this and regarding Riri's bagging this man, I am absolutely proud of her for doing so, I couldn't think of more fitting partner and you of all people have no right to speak about this".

Andrea's face went red with anger, she pointed her finger ready to reply to Maxi when Ian grabbed her hand to stop her, "Your right, we have no right to speak about this", Ian expressed. "Of course Andrea didn't mean any offence and we apologize for any misunderstanding", he finished while hinting to Andrea to keep quiet. He didn't want to cause anymore trouble especially with his well liked cousin and sister in law, his family were still angry at the events from last year when he rejected Rhiannon for Andrea and he has just about managed to get back in to their good graces.

Ant could not be bothered to continue with this disagreement as it was waste a time when it came to his cousin and that women, before he turned to his wife to calm her down he gave his cousin a glare , this glare was a warning that no more trouble should be arise from here especially from him or his partner. He didn't want the party to be disturbed anymore than this, the variance was quickly ignored as everything went back to normal in the party thanks to Ant who had since left the room with Rafi to head over to his study where his medals and other memorabilia was, only the three ladies were left to chat amongst themselves.

"Look how excited my hubby is to show off his achievements to your man!", Maxi said while nudging her bestie. "Stop it", Riri swatted her elbow away, she was still fuming about the comments made earlier. Noticing this Clara tried to reassure her sister, "God those two annoy me to no end but you shouldn't waste your emotions on them Riri, you did enough of that last year, have you seen Ian's face the whole time you have been with Rafi that in itself is satisfying enough and even though she made that comment about his job I definitely saw some drool from that skanks mouth when she was looking Rafi." "Well he is god damn hot specimen, if I didn't have an very attractive husband I would be drooling too", Maxi Chortled. Riri finally cracking a smile to the two other ladies relief, "Uh huh, he is definitely godly handsome and a goooood kisser", she exclaimed while tapping her chin with her index finger seeming to be on cloud 9 thinking about it. "Oh, girl!!", Maxi jested with Clara also chiming in with an "Ooohh!" All three began to laugh heartily, which eased their minds of the previous tension.

Andrea and Ian who were now across the room heard the three laughing out loud and couldn't help but feel aggrieved, "Why do I have to put up with their comments Ian, it's unfair", Andrea said. "Are you crazy could you not see the faces my cousin and his wife were making, I don't understand why you felt it necessary to say those things, you know you have never won in a confrontation against Riri and them", Ian replied. "Oh Riri is it now, don't think I don't see you keep looking her way", she retorted. "Oh shut up, don't be ridiculous, I was only a tad curious as our families are close friends and that's it, right now it's a delicate time and you know that", he exclaimed. "Then as your families are close you should of married her as they wanted, it's not too late, that is if you can steal her from her man", she declared.

"I'm leaving this party is boring and I hate seeing these people", she suddenly stated while storming off, she was hoping to get a reaction out of him with that comment but she instead got a look of contemplation on Ian's face which she despised. "Andrea, Andrea!!", he called out but not too loud as to draw attention but it was too late she had already headed out. Fine he wasn't going to follow her she wanted to go, he was going to stay, this was a good time to make connections after that fiasco last year he pondered while walking over the bar.

Meanwhile Ant and Rafi were in his study, Ant was now showing him pictures in his albums while seating at small two seater leather sofa at the side of the room, most the photos were from his army days. "Is this your Grandfather", Rafi queried while looking at mature man with a dignified look standing next to a young Ant both wearing military uniforms. "Yes he is, I guess we look alike", he said while laughing. "You kind of do but I think it's more the aura around you both", Rafi said. Ant smiled at his comment, "Yeah he is my role model, he was also in the army but as a doctor, his devotion and determination always aspired me so I followed him everywhere including right into the military except I was never clever enough to be a doctor, we are a family of military men that is before we moved onto different careers", Feeling a moment bitter sweetness Rafi replied "My family too", 'but my father died shortly after transferring out of the army', this was part he left out but said in his heart. "Wow, we really live a small word, huh", Ant said while putting one hand on Rafi's shoulder while they continued to look at the albums. "Sure is", Rafi commented almost as a whisper.

Riri had separated from the group as she was feeling parched after all the events to occur so far tonight, she made her way over to the bar. "Strawberry daiquiri please", she asked, the barman nodded in acknowledgement. "You still drink those", a familiar voice said from next to her. This was the moment she dreaded, it was communicating with the trash, her face contorted however she turned to look his way "Of course I do, it's only been a year, my taste doesn't change as frequently as others", Riri said with determination, she was going to face this head on. Ian sighed "I deserve that I guess", "You guess", Riri quirked a brow. "You really haven't changed or should I say you are showing your true self", she further added. "I know your angry at me but you have to understan..", Ian tried to explain before Riri interrupted "I don't have to understand anything, I am not angry not for myself at least, you only minorly come to my thoughts when I am reminded about how hurt my dad was". "Please don't be unreasonable Riri, I am trying to explain so we could move, my family were also hurt", "Unreasonable, Ok, go ahead explain but please correct yourself, you upset your own family, I had no hand in that and also please refrain from calling me Riri, that nickname is only for the people most closest to me" the young lady expressed. Ian clearly agitated by her words continued to attempt his so called explanation.

Rafi had now returned to room with Ant who had gone off like the wind to find his wife, you could tell those two were truly in love but he also found his eyes searching for the person who he really wanted to see, which was strange as they had only just met. His eyes finally landed on a divine figure over by the bar, she had pinkish drink which she was sipping at from a cocktail glass, he couldn't help but gaze at her. His attention was suddenly caught to the person opposite her when he tried to touch her arm to which she seem to berating him about, he couldn't clearly hear over the music and people. He immediately strode across the room to make his way to her, the young doctor who was in the middle of an angry explosion suddenly felt an arm wrap around her waist and she felt a warmth from from behind, when he embraced she got with a waft of coffee and what seemed to cherry blossoms that overpowered her senses, she knew who it was without having to look back. "Hi my goddess", he whispered in ear which really couldn't be whisper as he said it loud enough for the man in front to hear who now had an irritated expression plastered on his face. Rafi smiled and continued, "I missed you, come dance with me", he asked while snuggly further into her. The young lady who was now staring at him coming out of her surprise, "Dance with me", he repeated almost pleading.
