Chapter Fourteen

"Yah, Chan hyung! Where are you bringing me?" Felix asked. Chan was covering Felix's eyes for a long time leading him somewhere.

"Yah Hyung!" Felix dramatically cried.

He don't understand why. Chan's father told him to stay away from his son yet here is Felix being drove away from Chan's presence.

Maybe whatever happens, I'll still stay with you.

Chan just chuckled at Felix. "Just wait softie..."

Ahh... That endearment, I missed hearing it.

"In three, two, one..." And Chan uncovered Felix's eyes.

"Suprise~!"

Felix was shocked. It was a night time at the sea. Beautiful yellow and white lights everywhere. Fireflies flying in the atmosphere and a very breezy air went through his skin that gave him goosebumps because of this set up Chan made. There were flowers, foods and satisfying aesthetic mats and pillows on the  white sand. For Felix, it felt like a date— and for Chan, it is a date.

Felix looked at Chan, "I-ige bwoya?" Chan flashed a sweet smile showing his dimples. "This is for us. A way to apologize after what dad did to you yesterday."

Felix was moved. But it's only an apology.

I'm expecting to much...

Chan looked at Felix. "You're down... Don't you like it?"

Felix shook his head. "I like it. Thank you for preparing. You could have just brought me to some street foods."

Chan felt disappointed.

That's okay Chris.

"But this is special for me. I made this for you. Cause you're a special person."

Felix got flustered and looked at Chan. "H-huh?"

"You still stayed." Chan said and gave Felix a warm hug.

Both of their heart beat's intensity aroused at a moment. Felix felt safe and so is Chan. They felt comfortable to each other.

Felix slowly hugged back—not minding what's around them. This is the moment he want to happen. But with honesty. He's already satisfied for this.

Chan let go of the hug and looked at Felix. "I reserved tickets for our Fishing time later. We still have to watch the beautiful view together, okay?"

Felix nodded. He blushed for a moment and Chan giggled at his cuteness. "Aigoo Yongbok why are you so cute~" Chan said nad pinched the young boy's freckled soft cheeks and Felix pouted and blushed again. "Softie..." Chan chuckled and let his cheeks go.

Felix still have been processing Mr. Bang's words yesterday.

Why would Chan tear the contract?

Felix looked at Chan who is mesmerized by the sea's view.

I shouldn't ask him...

And he smiled. "I have something for you. Hyunjin taught me how to make bracelets." Felix said and grabbed something from his pocket and showed it to Chan.

A pattern of silver and black beads and a cute black heart pendant was attached around the string. Chan smiled and chuckled, "You made this?"

Felix nodded. "You said you have a surprise for me so I made it in advance as a return. And for breaking something that is really important to you."

Chan was really touched. He didn't fell for this side of Felix. But he fell because he just fell in love.

Chan looked at Felix, "There's something for you too..." Chan grabbed a small box from his black eco bag and gave it to Felix. Felix opened it only to see a necklace with a locket and a key attached together.

"I'll take the key and you'll take the locket. As a memory for our happy life." Chan took the necklace with a key pendant and wear it.

Because you're my life, Yongbok-ah.

Felix smiled and wore the necklace with a locket pendant. He looked at the the locket and smiled.

"We are not even couples." Felix blurted out innocently and Chan's heart stung.

"A-aigoo, it doesn't mean we have this necklaces we are couples? Just think of it. You stayed for me even if I treated you like one of my problems. I was the key to open your heart and made you become an understanding and loving person even though you're a total softie." Chan stated honestly and smiled.

That's true. Chan was right. Felix opened his heart fully.

Chan wore the bracelet and giggles. "This is the greatest moment I have experienced." The freckled boy spoke. Chan's heart felt a warm embrace.

"Because we trust each other." Chan said.

"Like what I promised."

I'll stay even if things go wrong. Until the end I'll stay, like what Sana noona said. I'll stay as I can and no one will stop me...

"Aigoo, Let's eat. I cooked the foods."

"And I had baked brownies while ago too." Felix smiled brightly and Chan smiled back.

"Thank you for bringing my favorite brownies. They're the highlight for today." Chan said and smiled.

Felix brought the two containers out filled with chocolate brownies. "I could starts a business soon." He giggled.

"That's a good idea." Chan smiled and opened one container and ate some. "Hmm... Mashta..." Chan closed his eyes in happiness enjoying the bouncing chocolate flavor on his taste buds that made Felix smiled.

Both of them enjoyed the night together. Like how couples do. But for the two of them, this is the beginning of their happiness.

Two more days, Lix. Let's do things quickly.
