Foxtrot Lodge

I woke up with a stroke of warmth embraced around my body. I tried to sit up from the wooden bench I was laying on and realized my leg was wrapped with shabby crepe bandages. I squinted as a huge fire place blazed in front of me. I saw silhouettes of men at a counter and spontaneously walked there. It was Byron, he was making weird shapes with his hand towards the other man who was confused. I was clueless at first but then I realized what he was doing. I started waving my hands in the air and pointed towards the walls with pictures of wooden cabins. The man blinked twice and rolled his eyes in realization. "So you want cabins for 2?", he said. We were both shocked. We initially thought he was Russian and if he found out we spoke english like Americans usually do, would hand us over to that wretched Russian company. But this dude spoke like he knew english like the back of his hand. "Hey man! Not to offend you or anything, but you guys speak english here?", Byron asked clueless. "Wow! So you pretended to be dumb after all. And that was blatantly racist. Yes we do speak english, after all this is an american based lodge.", the man smirked. Byron just stared at him with his mouth wide open. "Password?", I asked immediately.

In order to figure out if anyone was working for the government or just a civilian, we had a secret password that would confirm it. "Ammo.", he said without blinking an eye. He was trustworthy indeed. "Ex-Chief Commando,Lyra Stevens and this is my Assistant in Command, Byron Denvers."

I said handing him our badge. "Seems quite legitimate. Welcome to Foxtrot Lodge Ma'am.", He said with a smirk. "We need a new talkie, mine got confiscated. We also need to talk to the team's council at S.W.A.T operations HQ to figure out the rest of the plan. Please make these arrangements ASAP.", I ordered as I undid my bandage. "Yes ma'am. Nkora will lead you to your rooms and I guess you will be needing some medical assistance?", He said uneasily, like he was about to gag after seeing my wounds. "I thought you had seen a lot worse than these wounds in Russia... Henry. I don't need that much medical attention just leave the health kit in my room." I said while reading his name tag. "Yes ma'am right this way." Nkora said in a deep anglicized russian accent. I went into my cabin and crashed onto the bed for a few hours. After a series of constant rage and groans, from the bright hours of daylight in my face, I went to take a hot bath to get rid of all the numbness and frost bites in my feet and hands. After freshening up and tending my wounds, I wrapped thin woolen cloth around my feet and planted them into some well structured military boots. I suited up and went to the reception. Henry directed me to the board meetings room. It was 20 feet underground. It looked like a tin chamber, made of a strong alloy of metal. A screen appeared in front of us. "Where is Byron?", I asked Henry. "He seemed to have dozed off. He proclaims to have had a long day yesterday." He said sarcastically. I smirked just at the thought of his face when he went to his sleep-dream land. When we used to train in the turfs of the greens in the tropics, Denvers would get a sound sleep even with all the sticky mud in the marshes and the swarms of mosquitoes and still complain of getting the least amount of rest. He's been like a younger brother to me, so I tend to go easy on him. Suddenly a screen unfolded from the walls of the chamber and the members were seated in their respectful places. They had a worried expression on their face, something wasn't right here.
