Tavern on Tatooine
In a tavern on Tatooine, it was crowded with many different species that were all doing various things. Many of them were either gambling, drinking, looking over bounties, talking, or just listening to the musicians playing jizz.
Occasionally their would be fights with some even dying in the process, but right now it was mostly tame for the most part.
The area where this tavern was located at was next to a busy spaceport which attracted the attention of criminals, fugitives, smugglers and even bounty hunters.
There was countless peices of information that the tavern held because of gossip going in and out of the area. If you wanted information or news about something, this would be the best place. But going here could come at a cost. Not just because of money, but also because of how dangerous it was.
Walking into this area alone could get anyone killed if they wasn't careful enough and even if you was the risk of death was still high. Almost everyone in some form had either killed someone or done something illegal in their time and they weren't afraid to do it again.
And in the middle of all of this was a figure wearing a brownish hood that covered their face and entire body. The person was noble Six and he was sitting down in the corner alone waiting for someone.
Many of those that had seen him had mistaken him for a bounty hunter causing them to leave him alone, but there was one group that was looking directly at him. The small group consisted of two unknown species that six didn't recognize and a human which seemed to be the leader of the small group.
They've been looking at him ever since he came in, but he wasn't going to do something about it until they sealed their fate.
A few minutes later two figures also wearing hoods arrives before sitting down with six.
"For a galaxy that boast about their living standards, this certainly doesn't meet to what they say." A feminine voice says facing six.
"And how exactly do you know they boast about that?" A cold voice says as she finishes speaking.
"Because of what I do best. Hacking. Their is almost nothing that I won't be able to hack through."
"Of course. Why did I even ask." He says looking at six before as he reaches in towards his chest to retrieve a big kukri knife before carving something on the table.
After their small conversation the female spreads a few pictures of ex-slaves that were now fighting for the rest of the slaves freedom.
"Six they want us to find any freedom fighters and slowly turn them into an organized militia." She says focusing back to what they came for.
"Once they make a reputation for themselves the recruitment of others could inspire others to join, but that is just a possibility." She says not sure this could work like they want.
"Because some of them are just empty shells thinking their freedom is just an illusion. Something not worth fighting for." Six says.
"Precisely. We can't force them to fight. We could only give them the tools to continue the fight if they actually do it."
"And if they are in a tight situation we could always just sneak in and give them a little hand if needed." The other person says as he continues to carve the table which shows a half detailed picture of a skull.
"But that comes at a risk. If we're caught. This could compromise us and this entire mission in the future." She says to him.
The man stops what's he doing before looking up at her before speaking. "You can't tell someone something if your a dead man. Worked out for six in the end."
"That's because he has hidden figures behind him Incase anything slips up. There's a reason most of his Intel is blacked out with ink." She says.
As they continue to go on about their plans that are close to finishing the other Spartan that was usually quiet for the most part warns them.
"We've got company coming our way." He says a group of three head their way trying to cause trouble for them. The same group that was eyeing six earlier.
"The three of you hiding under those hoods will do nothing for you all. There must be a reason for this and I want to know." He says as he crosses his arms trying to make himself look intimidating.
"So why are you hiding. Is it because your fugitives, criminals, or is it because a bounty is on your head?" He says as he uncrosses his arms as one hand slowly makes it's way towards his blaster.
"I suggest you leave before one of us harm you. In fact, I could punch a hole through your face with surprisingly little effort." The female Spartan says.
"I like to see you try. If even one of you even move a muscle. Me and my boys will make you wish you hadn't walked in here in the first place." He says with a crooked smile on his face.
"I would do what the lady says. Because if you don't, I'll be glad to take out the stick that is up your ass." The Spartan with the knife says aggressively.
Hearing this the thug slams his hands on the table about to start a fight. "I warned you. And now you threaten me. I'll kill yo- ahhhhh!" The thug doesn't even get the chance to finish is sentence because a knife was lodge into his hand. The knife had went through his hand and he was now stuck to the table screaming his head off.
Seconds later his head was quickly pulled closely towards his attackers face as he opens his eyes.
What he sees terrifies him. Instead of a face he sees the outline of a skull. He didn't realize it was just part of his helmet, but he was in to much shock and pain to notice it.
"I'll warn you one more time. Leave us or the least of your problems will be a knife in your hand...Or what's left of it." He says before sliding the knife down his hand making a bloody mess as the thug screams even more in pain as he falls down to the ground.
The two other friends that were with him back up in fear before running away quickly leaving behind the human who slowly gets up and runs away as well as he holds the bloody form of what used to be a healthy hand.
All the commotion that was in the tavern was halted as it became very quiet. There was no one talking and the music had abruptly stopped when the first scream had been heard.
Seeing that everyone was looking at them now, the Spartans were ready to fight their way out only to get get surprised when the musicians go back to playing. This in turn had everyone else go back to doing whatever they were doing as if nothing had happened.
"I wasn't expecting that, but I think it's time to start. The rest of the team is already scouting out the area." The female Spartan says.
As they leave the table they leave behind the carving of a finished skull that had splatters of blood on it making it seem unsettling towards some that would see it later.
No one had knew that they were close to three Terran Spartans that could've killed all of them if they had made the wrong move.
Life on Tatooine was about to change greatly later on and it was all about to be because of a team of Spartans.
Specifically noble team.
Coruscant
"They want me to do what!" A voice loudly says with disapproval.
"Helping him out the first time was already enough. But now this. They know my background with him and yet they want me to help someone I despise."
"I know you won't like it, but me along with another Jedi and their padawan will come along." Kenobi says.
"That doesn't make this situation for me better. For all I know he deserves what is coming for him." Anakin says.
"Anakin I understand what you suffered there, but you cannot put your feelings in the way for this mission. If it's true the terrans are operating there. This war will much harder if they control the hyper lanes. That was the reason this deal with the hutts was made in the first place." Kenobi says trying to make him understand the consequences if they fail.
Anakin only sighs in defeat. "I'll try to do my best master. Ahsoka will probably be the one to cool me down anyway if things get heated." He says still not liking this.
"How is you padawan by the way. Ahsoka had said a lot of things about her. I didn't know there was another person that started off just like me though." Anakin says curious.
"Her situation was closers to yours when you were young. She's older by one year when you started." Kenobi says.
"Must have been hard for her. Learning and trying to catch up with everyone else that are years ahead of you."
"But that's the thing. It wasn't hard for her. Or at least that's what I think. She learns fast. All criticism was thrown away once she was doing better than the other younglings." Kenobi says.
"She was top of her classes for everything. I don't know how she does it, but she will no doubt be a Jedi master later on." Kenobi finishes.
"Ahsoka never told me none of that. Let's just hope nothing happens to her. Especially with the Terrans lingering around." Anakin says as they start to prepare for their arrival on Tatooine.
What they didn't notice was the shadow of a figure hiding. Listening in on their conversation. Waneta was thinking about finishing what she started on this mission, but was still convinced she could do a little more.
But what she did know was that the terran forces on Tatooine would be ready for their arrival once they set foot on the planet. And she knew the Jedi wouldn't be ready for them.
