Hikaru Kamiki? Where have I read a character with that name?

«Master, I believe it's a manga called Oshi no ko.»

"Idol's child?"

What was that? I don't think I remember...

«Master, Teleporting to another world and coming back with a copy of that anime is also an option.»

Huh... that is an option.

Currently, we rented an apartment given by Tanya's connection.

"Akihito, we want to discuss something... can we enter?" That was Rimuru. He knocked on the door and another voice could be heard through the door.

"Come in." Thus, it's our time for discussion.

"Ya-ho!"

Gojo sat on the chair while Milim took a nice spot on my desk, and Rimuru sat beside me on my bed.

And... Tanya stood near the entrance. "Um, I'm sorry, but I would like an explanation now if I can hear it?"

.

.

.

"I see... So you guys receive commissions and complete them in another world. The rewards are points you can use to buy 'skills' and make yourselves stronger..."

"We're already strong enough though! Wahahaha!" Milim was the first one to react to her muttering.

"Um, that being said we haven't properly introduced the admin yet... This is... Okamura Akihito." Rimuru used that chance to introduce me.

"Ah, thank you for having me." Tanya bowed her head a little as she started.

"Same here... I am the administrator of this group, or... If you were to give me a nickname—"

Tanya's eyes widened for a second there. The man with heterochromia eyes stood up and looked at her dead in the eyes.

"My name would be 'Existence Y,' isn't that right?"

"E-eh?"

For a while, she felt my dominating aura though I didn't let out any of my haki. She immediately realized that the man in front of her was also what you'd call a "God."

"A-ahahahaha! Of course not, um—Okamura-san." No matter what, she wasn't able to deny it now. She wasn't able to deny the existence of a god any longer, now that an outer god has saved her from her ongoing doom.

But Tanya was smarter than most people; she was able to see the hidden message behind my smile: "I am the one in charge," if she were to put it simply.

But she didn't mind. This was one step towards going back to a normal world, or maybe she might get the chance. But she could still hope for peace after the whole operation was a success.

"Um, if you don't mind my asking... Okamura-san, regarding that girl—" She finally asked.

"Oh, them? You might know 'Anton Sioux,' don't you?" She nodded at my words.

"I revived both of them."

"H-huh!?" Surprise escaped from her before she calmed herself down.

"What, you want peace, don't you? Then you've gotta earn it. Their gospel magic won't work anymore, for both of them... And for you."

Gospel magic was the term for Holy magic in this world. The reason Mary Sioux's mana shone golden instead of blue was that.

Tanya herself was gifted this by this world's God of Reincarnation, but she wasn't using it willingly. That's why her raw powers were easily overwhelmed by Mary Sioux, who had complete devotion to "Existence X."

I brought my hand to my face, clearly hiding the creepy smile I had before calming down and turning to her once more, "Don't you still want to use that power? Why don't you let me become your sponsor?"

"Hah?"

.

.

.

"I rename you, Tanya von Degurechaff. Receive that name and... Well, do whatever you want, actually." Tanya's body shone brightly as I said those words.

Magicules were strong, and the more Magicules you gained from someone else, the more you would feel this sense of understanding for them.

While normal humans do not have a "core" as their heart is just a normal heart, Tanya, who has been basked in this world's mana, could be considered a Majin already.

"Sir, yes, sir!" And so, she saluted.

I won't give her the monarch's crown, but she will receive a title from me in the future. One will have to wait for the war to happen.

Oh well, I did go meet Zettour and the empire's goons later, probably to crush them in order to have Tanya take command, but that is a story for another time.

After that, I dismissed the meeting. Milim seemed to have challenged Gojo to some games inside their room, and Rimuru was just reading a book in my room. Why was he in my room? I didn't know either...

For now...

«Master, the transfer is ready.»

"Rimuru, I will jump back into my world for a bit (lying), I'll come back in a minute."

"Hm? Sure..."

And so, I executed the Space-Time Domination.

.

.

.

A few minutes later...

I went back to the Youjo Senki world with the manga of "Oshi no Ko" in hand. I found Rimuru in my room, but I immediately sat on the bed and started reading.

But...

"NOOOOOO! AIIIIIII"

I couldn't stop my tears after a few chapters. The image of this cute out-of-this-world character was engraved into my mind, but the sight of her lifeless and smiling face would probably haunt my nightmares... Not that I needed any sleep, but still.

"H-huh!? What---!??? What's with you all of a sudden!??" Rimuru, who was reading Dr. Stone peacefully while sitting on my couch, asked frantically.

"HIC--!! Rimuru!!!!! Akasaka-sensei is horrible!!" Just because I'm a psychopath doesn't mean I can't have a favorite character. But having my favorite character die in the first volume is too much!

"Uh... You're talking about manga, right?" Rimuru asked with a huge sweatdrop on his head.

"HIC--!! HIC--!! The story is too much—it's enough to make an outer god cry—hic--!"

Rimuru was very intrigued by this. "You're overreacting... It's just a manga, you know?"

Then, with a stern and angry tone, I cut in, "HEY! TRY TO READ THIS FOR YOURSELF!"

He had a deadpanned face, "Surely it's not that bad..."

A few chapters later...

"UWAAAAAAAHHHH! AIIIIIIII!!"

This time, Rimuru, whose body is not entirely organic, felt the huge sadness in his nonexistent heart. He wanted to cry, but his mimicry did not have the feature of tears excrement. Well, he could make it, but what's the point.

My face no longer held any sadness. I was just happy that Rimuru now showed the same reaction as me, and I was all smug about it.

"✨How is it!! You really wanted to cry, don't you!!!??✨"

"I WANT TO CRY, BUT I CAAAAAAN'T!!"

Rimuru's tearless cry was so loud that it invited some unexpected guests.

"Admin-san~ did something happen?" (Gojo)

"Bestie! I will protect you!!!" (Milim)

I stopped my grinning face and shared a look with Rimuru. Then, as if understanding each other, we smiled.

"Milim!/Gojo-kun~ would you like to read some manga?"

.

.

.

"NUOOOOOO!!!! AIIIIIIIII!!!!"

Milim radiated a sum of Magicules fluctuation while holding back her tears, but despite that, it wasn't enough to destroy anything. So, none of us did anything about it.

While both Rimuru and I had the smiles of cats while looking at her.

"✨ HA HA HA HA HA! HOW IS IT, DEMON LORD!???✨" That's me, grinning evilly.

"✨YOU WANT TO CRY SO BAD, DON'T YOU!?✨" And this is Rimuru, with the same grin on his face as mine.

"I WANT TO CRY SO BAD-NODAAAAA!!!"

Fufufu, Akasaka-sensei... Truly is the strongest human being. What about Gojo then—eh?

"G-Gojo...-San?" We all shifted our attention to him...

With the book in his hand, he flipped the manga calmly, with a trail of tears running down his cheeks. Despite having his Rikugan tamed, his skill was still active in real time. So the information that he captured would be very hard to erase.

For some reason, I could hear the "Noot Noot" meme soundtrack playing in the background.

"...."

The playful and eccentric man was no more; he was replaced by a stern man with tears on his face, flipping the manga silently until he finished.

'I felt bad, for some reason...' I figured Rimuru had the same thought as I did when we looked at the new Gojo Satoru in front of us.
