Having Fun Before Leaving to The Academy

4 Years Later

Alex: Alice! Come back here!

It's been 4 years since the MightBear encounter. Nothing much has changed for Alex's life except for the fact that he has a younger sister now. Alice is a 4 year old with blonde hair that goes to her mid-back with blue eyes. Alex made sure that his little sister was very loved and spoiled her a little too much. Alex has grown a lot after these years too. He stood at a height of 190cm(6'2) with his hair to the back of his neck. He was also muscular, not buff but lean. He also had an attractive face that made women blush. But Finn wasn't there with him. He disappeared a year ago and hasn't come back.

A/N: Ugh, this made me cringe so hard writing this. But oh well. And I know this sudden disappearance is sudden but....I'll explain later in the chapter :P

Alice: But I wanna go play!

Alex: Not right now! Let me train and then I'll take you to go play, alright?

Alice: No, no, no, NO! I wanna go now!

Alex: Uh....

Alice: Pleaseeeeee!

Alex looked at his little sister who looked at him with a twinkle in her eye. Alex couldn't resist any longer.

Alex: Ugh. Alright fine. But when you turn 5, I'm not gonna spoil you as much. Really.

Alice: YAYYYY!

Alex took Alice outside to go to the park. Even though Alex said that, he won't be able to see her that much after he turns 15. When he turns 15, he'll be going to the academy in the Royal Capital. He's gonna use the rest of the time he has for enjoying himself before he leaves in a few months.

20 Minutes Later

Alice: I'm tired.

Alex: Well that was fast. Let's go then.

Alice: Carry me, big brother!

Alex: Huh? Why?

Alice: Because I'm tired!

Alex: *sigh* Alright then, get on.

Alex got down so Alice could climb on his back. After she got on, he started heading home. He spent time like this for the next few months. he turned 15 a couple of days ago. Now, he leaves home in a week.

Currently, Alex is spending time with his family. Watching movies, going on walks, having picnics, and going camping. Alex was really loving his life this past month, but he knows he'll be leaving his family behind in a week. So he'll make sure to make this week the best week he's ever had.

2 A.M.

Alex was sneaking out of his house to go to the woods. After he left the house, he ran into the woods to where he last slayed the MightBear. When he got there, he saw a fox standing a few meters in front of him. It was Finn.

Alex: Hey, Finn. It's been a while. A year I believe?

Finn: Yeah, sounds about right. i thought you would've forgotten about me already. After all, I-

Alex: I get it, you left. Don't worry about it. I see you've gotten stronger so that means you went to go train, right?

Finn: Ah, yeah, that's right. Sorry for leaving though.

Alex: I said don't worry about it. If you're really sorry though, show me this newfound strength of yours.

Finn: Oh really? I don't want to though. You'll get badly injured after all.

Alex: Oh? Seems like you've got yourself a sense of humor now. You aren't stronger than me, buddy.

Alex was looking at Finn with a grin on his face.

Finn: Sure, sure. But before we start, I have something to show you.

After Finn said this, he started glowing. After a minute, the glowing Finn slowly stood up into a figure of a human. After another minute, the glowing stopped and in his place, stood a young man. This young man had black hair and golden eyes with a lean body a bit slimmer than Alex. He stood at a height of 185cm(6'0) and also had an attractive face. This man was Finn.

Alex stood there with shock on his face. He didn't expect Finn to have a human form.

Alex: Oh, wow. I don't know what to say.

Finn: You don't need to. Let's fight.

A/N: I'm not good with fight scenes so please bear with me here please.

After Finn spoke, he disappeared from his spot and appeared in the air in front of Alex. Finn did a twist to kick Alex in the side of the head. Alex wasn't prepared for this and was barely able to move his arms for a block.

Alex: ?!

Finn: I didn't expect you to block this...

After Alex blocked it, he moved his arm and grabbed Finn's ankle and lifted him up higher. Alex had a huge grin on his face after he had a gold hold on him.

Finn: Uh oh.

Alex slammed Finn on the ground with a lot of force. After Alex let go, Finn quickly got up and retreated a few meters back.

Finn: Maybe I was a bit too arrogant thinking I could beat you.

Alex: Oh no, don't give up now! I'm gonna make sure to discipline you real good!

Alex ran towards Finn and did a kick towards his stomach. Finn quickly blocked this but Alex followed up with a punch to the side of his head. Finn ducked with a yelp. But Finn didn't notice that Alex's knee was waiting for him and it hit him right in the nose. Alex didn't let up. He punched and kicked everywhere on Finn while he was stuck barely holding on.

Finn saw a chance and kicked Alex right in the rib while taking a punch on the face.

Finn: Gotchu!

This caught Alex off guard and he stumbled back. Finn didn't let this chance go and punched right towards Alex's open chest. But instead of trying to block, Alex grinned.

Finn: ?!

Alex grabbed Finn's wrist with his index finger and his thumb and pushed it away from him making Finn fall to the ground. Alex flipped Finn over to where he was on his back.

Alex: 'Time for the finisher! I've always wanted to do this!'

Alex kicked his leg out and started falling with his elbow out.

*SLAM*

Alex's elbow slammed right into Finn's stomach. Finn held his stomach gasping for a breath after getting the wind knocked out of him. Alex stood up and looked at Finn with a grin.

Alex: 'The Peoples Elbow! Very satisfying!'

Alex: Looks like I won this one. Nice try.

Alex held out his hand for Finn and Finn grabbed it.

Finn: What even was that? That fight was completely unfair!

Alex: You think so? I thought it was pretty fun, honestly.

Finn: Yeah, because you completely overwhelmed me! *sigh* I'm never doing this again.

Alex laughed at Finn's displeasure. He was glad to have his old friend back.

Finn: By the way, I'm coming to the academy with you.

Alex: Huh? That's pretty sudden.

Finn: Yup.

Alex: So, no explanation?

Finn: Nope.

Alex and Finn were just talking while walking back home. After they got back, Finn transformed back into his fox form since he only had his fox bed to sleep on. He planned on introducing himself to Alex's family, which would definitely be a surprise to them.

10 A.M.

Finn: Hello everyone, my name's Finn. Nice to meet you!

Elizabeth and David: Wha-?!

Well that's it for this chapter. I tried my best on the fight scene. It wasn't too good, but I guess it was satisfactory. I'll try to get better at it. Yeah, that's it.
