Lalali shook her head gently and replied, "I've heard that the ruler of Meloka still holds sway, the self-proclaimed Grand Duke. However, the city is now fragmented and likely exists in name only."

At the mention of the Grand Duke of Meloka, Limon's thoughts turned to the letter of authorization. He wondered what connection the previous owner of this body had with the Grand Duke. The letter had contained copious information, but Limon, not wishing to be entangled with the past of this body, had destroyed it. Now, he felt a twinge of regret, realizing it might have been significant. Yet, he quickly dismissed the thought.

"Sir, we've arrived. Do you see the manor up ahead? We'll stay there for now," Lalali said, jolting Limon from his reverie.
