Chapter 14

"Hey Sona, can I skip school again today? I still have something to do later."(Tatsuya)
"No! You already absent from school yesterday, I can't let you skip another day."(Sona)
"Can you make an exception, just this time please?"(Tatsuya)
"No! This discussion ends here, no more excuses."(Sona)
"*sigh* Alright, I will go okay. Wait here, I need to say something to my little brother first."(Tatsuya)
"Don't you dare..."(Sona)
"I won't run, I promise."(Tatsuya)
"Alright then."(Sona)
Sona went to the house entrance and started to wear her shoes. *sigh* Plan to skip school failed. If I run now, I might get killed by Sona later so I can only surrender and attend the boring school. I went inside the living room again and looked to my little brother who currently got a blank look on his face. Maybe the fact that I got a girlfriend now shocked him a lot.
"Oii, Ise! Stop blanking out and answer me."(Tatsuya)
"Huh? What? Who am I? Why am I here?"(Issei)
"That's enough playing dumb, Ise. I have something important to discuss with you."(Tatsuya)
"Nii-san, you don't have to waste your time with someone like me. You should spend your time with your lovely girlfriend instead. Nii-san, I pray for your happiness from the bottom of my heart."(Issei)
"You're done with your bullshit? Can we get to the topic already?"(Tatsuya) I said sternly while I use my right hand to hit his head.
"Ouch! I got it, stop hitting me. What do you want to talk with me?'(Issei)
"Ise... Do you want to get a girlfriend?"(Tatsuya)
"Huh? Are you making fun of me right now Nii-san?"(Issei) He said quite angrily.
"Just answer me. Do you want or not?"(Tatsuya)
"Of course I want to have a girlfriend!"(Issei)
"Alright then, We will start your training from tomorrow, you better brave yourself."(Tatsuya)
"Huh? What do you mean? Why are you talking about training now?"(Issei)
"Didn't you said that you wanted a girlfriend? Then the first thing for you to do is to build your body so you can attract their interest. Don't worry, I will train and supervise you myself. And also, didn't you asked me to train you a few days ago? Well you get the message now, don't forget to set your alarm at 5 AM, that's all. I will go with Sona first then, don't be late alright."(Tatsuya)
"Wait a second, Nii-san!"(Issei)
"Later Ise!"(Tatsuya)
Issei called for me but since I don't want to waste any more time, I just ignore it and got out from the living room. I see Sona in front of the house entrance door, waiting for me to go to school with her.
"You're done?"(Sona)
"Yeah, let's go."(Tatsuya)
"Where is your little brother?"(Sona)
"He will catch up later, let's go first."(Tatsuya)
"Okay."(Sona)
I walked toward school together with Sona and when we got there, the other students were staring at us, but somehow their expression were not of surprise or jealousy, but it was pity. I was very confused with their stares. As we walk, I heard some of the students whispers and from that I know the reason why they are looking at me with pity.
"Hey look over there, I think Hyoudou-senpai just got dragged by our student council president."(Boy A)
"I feel sorry for him, it must have been hard being pestered by the president all the time, he just want to sleep. *sigh* The president should handle his younger brother instead of him you know."(Girl A)
"I know right, he didn't bother anyone with his sleeping habit so it's not a problem. The younger brother though.. *sigh* His perverseness is very annoying. He bother we girls all the time."(Girl B)
"I don't know how can two brothers can be so different, and I think the president should deal with the younger brother more rather than him." (Girl C)
"I'm so jealous!! I want to be spotted by the president to... It would be better if... he he he... she can step on me he he..."(Boy B)
"I don't know this guy, let's go bro."(Boy A)
"Yeah let's go to the classroom."(Boy C)
I looked to my left and stared at Sona. As I opened my mouth to say what I have in mind, she shot me down immediately with her glare and words.
"Don't even think about it."(Sona)
"Yes mam."(Tatsuya)
-School Break-
At last! I don't know how can I stand sitting all day hearing the teachers lectures. It was so f*ucking boring. Whenever I tried to sleep, Sona who sit beside me would pinch me hard to wake me up. Yup, that girl suddenly changed sit with the boy beside me and now become my neighbor.
Talking about her, we are in the student council office right now. Just like the previous night I had that chess match with her, she's sitting on her chair while I'm sitting opposite of her, but this time the room was filled with the other members of her peerage. Behind her stood all of her peerage which consist of girls.
"So... why did you call me here again?"(Tatsuya)
"I want to introduce my peerage members to you. I already explained how it works that night so I don't need to explain it again again to you right, mr. sleepy head?"(Sona)
"Fortunately I have a good brain so it's still fresh in my memory, thanks for being worried for me though, ms. night time."(Tatsuya)
And now here we are, trying to jab each other. It seems I really agitated her this time, she's been speaking sarcastically to me from the start, but seeing her agitated face is quite funny so I jab her back every time she speak sarcastically to me. Anyway, we have been bickering like this for the last 10 minutes, and I can see the curious expression of her peerage members towards me because they never see their king bickering with someone like this so this is a first for them, except Tsubaki of course since I think she already know about us.
I look at Tsubaki and made an Eye contact with her, she look at me for a second and then look away from me, it seems she kind of hates me which I don't know the reason why. It is fun for me to tease Sona but I think I should stop now, or it would only back fired to me. I don't want to face the a very angry Sona after all, I mean I don't know... It just a feeling.
"Can you be more serious here?"(Sona)
"Alright, alright. You know me, I'm just teasing you back. I'm sorry okay, well how about we move on with the girls behind you?"(Tatsuya)
"*sigh* Fine... Girls, this is Hyoudou Tatsuya, my current fiance and future husband, and Tatsuya, this is my peerage members. Girls, please introduce yourself to him."(Sona)
When they heard that I am Sona fiance, they got very surprised and then got silenced for a few seconds because of the shock. Suddenly one of Sona peerage members stepped forward right in front of me with an excited expression, but soon her expression change into a terrified one when she felt a penetrating gaze on her back.
Well I know that she kind of a person that move first and think later so I don't really mind with her manners but it seems Sona took that as a mistake from her and scold the girl in silently. Fortunately the girl realized her mistake and immediately move back a little from me.
"Sorry for my bad manners. My name is Meguri Tomoe, a second year student and one of president knights. Nice to meet you, Hyoudou Tatsuya - sama."(Tomoe)
she is a beautiful girl with shoulder-length, reddish-brown hair and brown eyes. Her hair features swept bangs and a single strand of hair sticking out from the top. I chuckled at her energetic introduction, but I didn't expect being called with the 'sama' suffix.
"Just call me normally, I'm not used being called like that. Well nice to meet you to."(Tatsuya)
As she finished her introduction, I can see Sona putting her right hand on top of her temple while frowning. It seems she expected her knight to introduce herself formally, alas she expected that from the wrong person.
"I'm sorry for her lack of manners, Tatsuya - san, she is a very energetic girl from the core so she doesn't really fit well with manners."(???)
Another member then joined the conversation. She is a slim girl with long brown hair that ends in two short braids and matching eyes. She also wears a blue headband.
"I don't really mind though, it's fun to have someone with a bright personality like that here."(Tatsuya)
"Well that's true, she always bring smiles to our face without us realizing it. My name is Kusaka Reya, a second year student and one of president bishops. It is a pleasure to talk with you."(Reya)
