Proposition

Sentry could agree that flying over a peaceful city was actually quite fun. Especially when it was slightly cloudy. Flying through the clouds, while it could be freezing cold for a normal person, it was like fling through a mist of water droplets for her. She had tried flying through a nimbus and she had regretted it. Superman was away on a reporter business as Clark Kent so Metropolis was hers to defend.

"SENTRY!" she suddenly heard a window shattering roar coming from the city making her look at the direction only to groan in irritation. It was a figure wearing a metallic containment suit with a skull as his head. The skull was surrounded by radiation like fire giving him his name, Atomic Skull. She flew down to meet him.

"I thought you were still in prison," she said with irritation. Atomic Skull was persistent. He had even given up his godfather ways just so that he could focus fully on beaten Superman and now her.

"You and I know it was only a matter of time before I did," he said before his body contained in the suit actually started beefing up, making the suit enlarge to fit it.

"Whoa, you been juicing, buddy?" she asked as she could feel the radiation in the air rising.

"Courtesy of a friend; enough power to power two continents now flows inside me. All he asked for is to make you bleed!" Atomic Skull growled in excitement as he grew to a twelve feet hulk. "Personally, I would have done it without the juice but now, I will enjoy crushing you to a pretzel!"

Atomic Skull threw his punch and Sentry could just see how much power it had with how the wind wailed. If she ducked, the kinetic energy would be enough to destroy the entire block. If she didn't, a shockwave would cause destruction to public property. But, with her, there's always a third option. She let the punch hit her right on her stomach before absorbing all the kinetic energy so that the shockwave that would have been produced was actually strengthening her.

"That was actually quite weak. Perhaps he gave you the wrong batch," she gaslighted the villain whose fire became brighter showing he was becoming angrier.

With a roar, he threw an even stronger punch but when it landed on her stomach, she absorbed all the kinetic energy, empowering herself even more. Atomic Skull became more angrier, causing the radiation to spike higher, coming to a dangerous level and she knew the fight could not be held in the city. She had to finish this as soon as possible.

So, as Atomic Skull was cocking another fist, she punched him with as much energy as she could without him just popping like a pimple. There was a resounding sound of bones breaking as his consciousness faded with the amount of pain he was subjected to so suddenly. His body was about to be sent flying backwards when she dug her fingers into the suit, denting it a little and anchoring him before releasing him to crumple on the ground. She put a forcefield around him to contain the radiation leaking from the suit before calling Amanda 'The Wall' Waller, former head of Cadmus and current Warden of Black Gate.

"Sentry, what is it now?" she asked in her usual all serious voice.

"One of yours is currently unconscious beneath my feet as we speak," Sentry answered, deciding not to quip with this remorseless woman.

"Atomic Skull?" Amanda asked and Sentry just grunted to the answer. "I will send my men to pick him up." Sentry hang up immediately after, not wanting to talk to Amanda more. She was too cunning for her own good and any more time spent talking to her will be more time she would be learning about you. Amanda actually gave Batman a run for his money, that alone is a feat she does not want to experience so soon in her hero career.

Just as she was thinking this, her brain registered the sound of something moving fast in the air towards her location. She looked at the direction but didn't see anything so she decided to use her thermal vision. This made her see a ship carrying five with one of them having an interesting thermal emission, one she was quite familiar to. The ship hovered above them before she saw a hatch appear at the bottom and from it repelled down Robin, Aqualad and Kid Flash. Superboy just jumped out while a green flying girl came out last.

"Quite the ambush you got there, mini Batman," Sentry greeted them.

"Not an ambush, we are just here to talk," Robin said as he looked at the unconscious Atomic Skull in wonder and slight joy? Sentry was however looking at Superboy who was glaring at her, most importantly her embelm.

"They're size C incase you're wondering," she decided to mess with the half Kryptonian who immediately went red before looking away with a huff. "Good thing you do not have X-ray vision, weeks old and already so interested!" She just couldn't help herself. She couldn't poke fun at Superman like she was doing so having a perfect replica of him being so shy was just too good to pass on.

"I'm Miss Martian, nice to meet you," the flying green girl introduced herself, going for a handshake. Sentry took it before frowning a bit.

"I thought Martian we're nearly as strong as Kryptonians under a yellow star, why are you so...feeble?" she asked, making the Martian girl recoil away.

"I just haven't learnt how to increase my muscle mass yet," she answered quite shyly before floating on behind Superboy who was now glaring at her.

"Is that Atomic Skull you just beat?" Kid Flash decided to chirp in. He was gawking at the still beefed up villain with wonder.

"Yeah, it appears that someone, most likely Lex Luther, is having a boner for my blood for something. These two bit crooks have been escaping prison and coming here almost everyday just to demand for me to bleed. Honestly, I had half a mind to give him a drop but then I remembered about moody Superman and just couldn't. My humor is a big part of my personality, I just don't want any version of me to lose it," she answered.

"Are you Kryptonian? Is that why he decided to help you?" Superboy growled at her with animosity. Sentry looked at him with a raised brow.

"Listen, you are just too young and too immature to use that tone with me, young man! If you had daddy issues take it out with someone else; I'll bend you over and spank you raw!" she growled back as her eyes glowed red for a moment, making everyone tense. "Besides, you are like the child he never had he had or wanted. Give him some time to gather his thoughts, he will come through, I promise. But, I am warning you right now, if you were programmed to kill Superman then you and I will throw hands." Robin decided the tension was just too raw and he had to bring it down a tone.

"We are here for a proposition for you," he said. Barely had he finished that Atomic Skull suddenly groaned in pain as he regained his consciousness. He rubbed his skull as his vision was regained.

"Did you think I would be taken down by such a weak punch?" he roared with false bravado, even as he tettered to get onto his feet.

His body had become smaller in size showing he had lost a lot of energy. She had no doubt about it, the punch she had hit him with had enough force to break down a continent. With Molecular Manipulation, she had broken down the vibrations that would have caused a shockwave so some might not actually know just how powerful that punch was. It seemed she used a lot of energy to keep his body from falling apart after the punch and healing him thus depowering him a lot.

"I still have enough energy to..."

"Look, dude, I knocked you unconscious with one punch, you are obviously not that shit. Sit down and patiently wait for the Black Gate escort to arrive then think about having a rematch with me," Sentry warned the villain who just growled with determination. Sentry sighed in disappointment before turning to Robin. "A moment please." She walked to the villain who roared with effort.

Atomic Skull knew he was badly outmatched but his pride would not let him admit it to himself. Lex Luther had warned him about her, telling him to actually try to attack as fast and hard as he could but he had made the error to think she was like Superman, holding back enough for him for land a few lethal punches in. Two punches, two punches that would level entire states and she had powered through them like they were nothing. The same two punches were enough to at least make Superman bleed, but she was barely registering them. He knew he was fucked but he would make sure he went out fighting.

So, he initiated the attack. He charged towards her and using all of his energy, went for a haymaker. His fist was glowing green and he knew this punch alone would turn the entire state into a nuclear fallout with the devastation spreading all over the world. But, he just wanted to kill her, kill her for humiliating her so! If she defeated her with one punch, he would kill her with one punch, damn the consequences.

However, he was quite shocked to find himself gaining attitude so fast the air around him was burning. He saw the blue sky actually slowly turning dark as he broke through the atmospheres before finding himself in space. The only thought in his mind was 'How?'. The energy he was going to destroy her with erupted all of a sudden, turning the bright day into a blinding green colour. Earth's ozone layer did it's best to shield the planet from the harmful radiation,only letting it some of the heat which quickly dispersed like the radiation up there.

"Sorry about that, you were saying something about a proposition?" Sentry turned to the flabbergasted group.
