The accident

Eisha walked into the city. Her eyes wandered around to anything and everything that her eyes could see.

Christmas songs were playing in every corner of the city. Everywhere her eyes landed had beautiful decorations and songs of cheer.

"How annoying," she let out.

All the happiness around them was making her sick. She was not the type to be merry or watch people celebrate happily.

Chaos was more her cup of tea than happiness. She could recall the days when she had yet to go to sleep. It was so much fun.

The people refrained from celebrating any festival as it was an open invitation for her kind to find food in large quantities. The humans were so terrified to even try to be happy.

The constant fear that loomed over the place made her excited to wake up every single day. She was the worst of them all and hence every day when she woke up. Even the devil would shiver at the chaos she was going to create next.

"I can't stand laughter," she stated.

Eisha stepped down the road to cross to the other side when a speeding car hit her.

Crush!

Eisha rolled to the ground and lost consciousness. It was the season of Christmas and people were in a hurry to get to their homes.

Accidents on the roads had increased since the festivities began.

A man in a black suit came out of the driver's seat. "Mi.. the miss, are you okay?" He asked trembling in fear.

'Please don't be dead,' he prayed internally and walked to get close to Eisha.

Seeing Eisha not responding to him. He squatted down next to her to feel her pulse. Her hand was strangely cold.

Feeling a beat, he sighed. Eisha was bleeding out, the young man took her into his arms and brought her to the car.

The backseat door opened. "Sir, she is alive. I fear we have to rush her to the hospital," the young man informed the hidden man in the back seat.

"Alright, give her to me," the man uttered coldly.

The young man helped Eisha to the man in the back seat and sauntered over to the driver's seat once again.

"Drive safely now, Jadon," the man spoke out.

"She came out of nowhere sir," the young man defended.

The man whose face was hidden due to how dark the inside of the car was. Held Eisha in his arms, holding in his irritation of the blood that was staining his 2 billion dollars tailor-made suit.

Jadon turned the car around to drive to the nearest hospital. "Call the doctor to treat her at home," the man let out.

"Yes, sir," Jadon responded without argument. He texted the doctor with the details of the accidents and resumed their earlier route.

He crossed his fingers and hoped that Eisha survives. There was a part of him that was feeling guilty for keeping her away from her family at Christmas.

"We should check for ID. Call her family and let them know of what happened," he suggested while looking at the review mirror.

He couldn't see the man in the backseat. Jadon knew the man could hear him and might get angry for being told what to do.

"Drive!" The man demanded.

He did not wish to touch Eisha anymore than he had to. For anything that the driver would like to do with her, he can do so after they exit the car.

"Y-yes," Jadon let out. His forehead was sweating and his palm was wet.

His boss was frustrated, he had been in a bad mood before. The accident and having to carry the girl made him more irritated.

He could only wonder what punishment he would have to face in the morning.

"I feel dirty Jadon, why don't I see the house yet?" The man question. Irritation is evident in his voice.

Jadon got out of his thoughts and continued driving. He drove faster but at a careful speed that won't cause another accident. Goodness knows that his boss would have his head if he caused another accident.

A half an hour later Jadon arrived at the house. He drove into the silver mansion that stood on the outskirts of the city.

The doctors and nurses were already in the compound, standing in a line outside the house to tend to the patient.

Jadon got out of the car and quickly moved to the back to fetch Eisha.

He took Eisha from his boss and carried her in his arms. His boss stepped out of the car with a mask on. He hurried passed the doctors and maids of the house and entered the mansion.

He could only think of one thing, the shower. The smell of blood wafted into his nose making it hard to breathe.

While he went inside to freshen up. Jason entered the house with the girl. She laid her in one of the guest rooms and let the doctor take a look at her.

"Who is that?" The head maid asked curiously.

Eisha is the first woman she had seen in the grand mansion.

She had worked there for ages and not even by accident did she see a lady coming into the house. The only women in the mansion were the maids and caretakers.

"No one important," Jadon answered knowing her train of thought.

His boss still hated women. There were no exceptions to his hatred, not even Eisha.

"I suppose one can only hope," she let out sadly.

Just once, she would wish to see a woman that could melt the cold heart of the master of the house.

Such a woman would be more than welcome in her heart. To have someone take care of her master would be great. It was something that she hoped for the man even though he expressed repeatedly that he would never.

"One can only hope," Jadon started mirroring her words.

He too hoped his boss would open his heart to a chance at love.

Jadon believed that out there in the world there was a girl with a kind heart that would teach his boss how to love.
