Where am I.....why I am here?

" Commence Operations Exterminator!!"

Shankar began his operation as order were passing through every Sides Eastern Assault team 2 has begun their attack under Captain Shankar while Eastern Assault team 1 under me are waiting for response from team 2 I saw a signal flare from team 2 I quickly order my team to advance towards enemy lines.

I ran towards a horde of bug with my power armor I began shooting with Morita assault rifle follow by rest we face heavy resistance from Arachnid horde as some my men were killed and mutilated by bug other were decapitated but we managed to hold it with help from Artillery Brigade support. As we push forward hundreds bullet raining towards the Arachnid I ordered heavy infantry to provide firing support from behind while I formed defence position.

" Sargent how's your position do you need support?" Captain Shankar call me through Comms channels while his side they managed to breakthrough Bug heavy Defence line " Don't worry I am fine what happened to the rest?" I am asking what to the rest. Shankar explain that Northern Assault is facing heavy resistance same as Western defence Line they face heavy attack from Arachnid Western defence Line loss their Commander Holly Batam She was decapitated by Bug warrior Arya quickly appointed substitute to replace Holly.

Northern Assault team 2 under Omar Grant managed to breakthrough Bug defence but the cause was heavy half of his forces were wipe out meanwhile in my side scouts inform me there were two Tanker type bug marching towards our position. Quickly I radio for Artillery support " This Assault Team 1 request artillery support Over!!?" While I radio for Artillery support suddenly the ground were shaking around me " retreat!!!! ....to" before I finish my statement the group under me was crack open and everything went dark.

Meanwhile in Captain Shankar side he received reports that team 1 Assault were ambush from below he quickly order the rest to retreat also he radio every side to retreat and stopped the assault.

" The bugs were smarter than we thought"

Shankar thought to himself his team began slowly retreat in defence position he tried to radio Saladin to know his status but no response he began assuming Saladin might perished along with the rest of Team 1 but he know Saladin is not that kind of men.

"This is Northern Assault team we managed to retreat -" This Western Assault we also managed to retreat" Both sides were managed to retreat in safe position but still no report from East Assault team 1 as far he remembers they were ambush from under which means bug had underground tunnels around the area. " Call a meeting we need new battle plans and also dispatch a team for rescue mission" .

What happened actually all I remember is the ground under me were shaking and suddenly it went dark voice of people screaming echoing my head now I remember we were ambushed from under the bugs knows where we are I hope the rest make it.

I slowly open my eyes it was dark luckily my legs and arm doesn't stuck at pile of rubble my power armor were heavily damaged due to the fall the jetpack are busted, weapon system also error I need to find a replacement before the they rest of bug arrived and dragged me or decapitated me. I scavenging every dead body for weapons, bullets and power armor parts since mine were busted most of these men and women were part of my team but they all perished some of them were knocked by large rock others were died due to heavy fall or killed by bug warriors.

But something doesn't fell right what I remember is only few of my men were died but here there were about 40 to 50 bodies most of them aren't from my unit I checked every to find out which unit they from.

"Black Guard ....these units aren't from 12th Siege Army why they here where they from" I find these people from different units they aren't supposed to be here I search each bodies for evidence but suddenly I was cornered by three bug warriors I hold my ground with a knives on my right hand.

Tension and fear consumed me I look upon the enemy as they slowly approach without power armour I'm exposed I might get killed probably I began remembering my past as my mind dragging me back to where it all began.

I was student college at London my family came from Malaysia peninsula I came from long military family line my great grandfather was one of Terran Federation founder follow by my grandfather as father and others I was trained to survive at age 10. My grandfather dream is to sees all his sons and grandsons became proud military men but not me. My dream is to become engineers but most my family members disagree except my mom she encourages me to chase my dream.

After 6 months at college I finally graduated just I about to pick my job I got call from my mom. She told me that grandpa was sick and he wants to see me I quickly went to hospital upon arriving I went to his ward atmosphere were bit sad and sorrow around me as I saw my grandpa lying at his bed.

"Raymond.....Come..here..i.i..want to talk with..you..(cough)"

Seeing his condition like makes me feel sorry for him even I didn't have goods memories together but he strong enough to hold this family together since my grandma pass away 2years ago. I slowly walk towards him and sit next to his bed grandpa slowly grab my left arm his hands were thinner than before wrinkle around his hands with wires tubes I feel bit sad for him.

Raymond...can....you...do me...(cough) a.. favour" my grandpa whispers through my left ears as continued speaking his voice are bit slow as he tried to finish the sentence one by one. After he finishes whispers grandpa slowly laydown in his bed after hearing his favour I left his ward quickly without saying goodbye to my family with angry face I walk through hospital hall until I reached outside.

" That Oldman why he'll be that selfish I never want this yet he ask me to fulfill it" while mumbling myself my call me from distance as she's reach up me and asked what happened between me and Granpa all I can answer is he wants me fullfil his last wish by joining Mobile infantry. My feeling furious mix up with sadness as my mom comfort me she understands how I felt she knew I didn't want join we sat at near cafe discussing this topic.

She advised to follow Granpa wishes at least that all I can do back then he never impressed by my achievements even I won first place as best inventor in middle school that old man doesn't even look me in the eye. Afte finished discussing we left the cafe I sent my mom to hospital while I heading back to college to apply my occupation as Mobile infantry just to honour my granpa wish after give kiss on my cheek mom went back to hospital.

After few weeks later granpa pass away due to heart failure I just finished my drill training soon I received the news I don't know how to tell how it feels. My feeling says that's good finally he died good for him but my heart say otherwise sadness roaming my heart as I sit facing my locker. Then suddenly my minds takes me back to present time as three bugs already close up just about they tried to attack I ran towards them then slide while pointing my knives up I managed to scratch one of the bug.The shrieking sound echoing the cave as I began spotting a assault rifle next to one dead troopers with rest of my strength I ran till I reached the rifle. Meanwhile a dispatch team of 10 troopers reach the crater where Saladin last saw lead by corporal Sybil Adele she decided to drop down with 5 mens while the rest will provide cover from here.

" Trooper begin dropped 5 mins" as she ordered everyone to prepare suddenly they were ambush by group of bug warriors from West side point Sybil quickly order her squad to jump down but one of her squadmate were kill because his jetpack were malfunctioning.

Back to Saladin he managed to reached the rifle and start shooting the bug while holding his ground after few minutes he managed to kill rest of it. He quickly grab one of Power armor from dead troopers as he began initializing his neural to power armor and he discovered something a record from the past owner it shown what happened to them that time.

" Blackguards 1 this is Blackguards 7 request evac over ?(radio buzzing)"

" I repeat Blackguards 1 this is Blackguards 7 request evac over? (Radio buzzing)"

" Sir no response aren't we supposed to be here 12th Siege Army will arrive in week if we didn't this mess we screw sir!!!"

" You don't need to tell me Troopers we here under order of sky marshall itself which means this is top secret mission "

"If can't do your job you better dead than alive do got me!!!!"

"Yes...sir.."

"(Shrieking sound from distance) BUG!!!! They here Fuck!!"

After listening what happened to them I began to move out and explore the tunnel it would seems this tunnel had large complex connect from their nest throughput area probably entire planet. I was hoping finding their nest quickly before they discovered me I wonder who set them up is it they own teammates or someone from upper rank this getting more complicated than I thought.
