[ This novel has been discontinued, a redux version of this series is currently in production. ] A glorious reign over the realm only to be hunted, a glorious return only to be haunted. Avery Hall had a fair share of experience when it came to the many layers of humanity. With the death of our real world in the future, everyone gets digitized and becomes... well, Immortal. To a degree. But how to do you spend immortality? Video Games... of course, with everything being digital... and with Hyper Advanced A.I... it's possible to create games that simulate what reality used to be like. Our story takes place in Starduster MMO, a fantasy based MMO game where the game's story is run mainly by player choice, with any choice being an important factor into anything. Our main point of view is Avery Hall, who specializes in the Sniper Class, a long range damage class that uses a Rifle. He is quite efficient at making use of all he has available, and is kind of a jerk. Avery also has been preventing the Progress of the game by holding on to a Key Artifact, other players find out about this and after a while decide they don't want him around anymore. While normally death lowers levels... his reputation is too low within the game and he gets banned, luckily he has a second account, as most V.I.P. users in the world do... Avery, swears to return the status quo, but maybe he'll be good this time... hopefully, habits take a long time to stop. So we join Avery's journey to get back to the top, just make sure he doesn't forget to properly transfer accounts.

Am Ruby, Ruby of Origin guild, Charmer of the East... and Ruby the one everyone wants to kill. I'm black listed now, after my supposed awakening I learned I was a little bit out of the loop so to speak.

Origin guild seems to be under some presumed attack, plenty of members report to me for aid from many different branches of the guild... but I'm very busy. You see, I have quite the bit of time to work on my... second... attempt to create a slave strong enough to take complete owner ship over the entirety of StarDuster.

That's all I desire, a throne of roses and gold... without much of the work.

Its quite a specimen I have right here, its level is insanely high and it's stats are the highest I've ever seen... but not a single Anti-Charm Item, skill, or effect. In fact, the only equipment on it was a small attachment to it's skin and a small ring.

At one point this might of been able to resist my skills, but not anymore... all I need is a little time.

I'd never imagine I'd get to see the entirety of StarDuster pass by, years of history being made right before my eyes in a matter of seconds. The Forums document nearly everything, from plagues to new content being added... and something caught my eye.

The Demon Lord... he has... been defeated.

I wasn't the one to save Asi, or by proxy... the supposed world around StarDuster. But somebody did, his name is yet to be shown on the forums yet... most likely identity protection.

But... I don't understand, most equipment should be ridiculously low grade now... and I'd assume that newly crafted gear wouldn't do to well either, and also... according to the forums they are only in the Level 70 range.

And... what about the whole Crusader thing? Was that meaningless? Did I waste weeks of time for nothing?

I need more information... luckily for me, I have plenty of it at my fingers... and its constantly being updated.

I can read the forums for news and other such things, and in the mean time I can probably study all the magic techniques... tips... tricks... and theories of many different players, and even some NPCs!

Unfortunately, I cannot post on the forums... otherwise I'd probably ask about whether or not Asi is ok. Untill then, I just hope she's in good hands.
