Star Wars VRMMO

First and foremost: Yes. I drew the cover myself in Microsoft Paint. It is a masterpiece. You're welcome. This is my second work. I thought I'd give a shot at one of those game novels. I've always had a dream of there being a video game where it was kinda like a combination of an MMO and GTA but with Star Wars themes. You'd be able to travel the whole galaxy and have progression that relates to the story. I think it'd be quite interesting. Essentially, I am going to be creating a universe so this is going to be a really fun experience for me. There is gonna be no bullshit with reincarnation. Just pure exploration and luck. I might experiment with different POVs throughout the work but who knows. Lastly, sorry if I make mistakes with the math. I am going to try and keep it as simple as possible. Here is a preview: The year is 2086. The VRMMO market has been taking off in the last 20 years. Each title is more advanced than the previous. Finally, an unknown entrepreneur is creating a game that introduces an AI that fully manages the game independently. This unknown investor has partnered with Disney to create this game within the story of Star Wars. Tyler Sandberg is a 17 year old boy living in New York, USA. He lost his father in a space exploration accident and he has been living with his mother since that happened. Unfortunately, the two have been struggling financially ever since his father passed so they live a modest lifestyle. Since his father was an astronaut, he was always super into sci-fi content. Star Wars was his favorite. After finding out that there was a mysterious VRMMO Star Wars game coming out, he swore that he would make it big in the game and get him and his mom the lifestyle they deserve. DISCLAIMER: All characters, companies, and events in this novel --even those based on real world entities-- are entirely fictional. All representations are made up ... poorly. This novel contains coarse language and due to its content it should not be read by anyone.

The Galaxy's First Drive By

(This would have been longer but lactose intolerance is a thing. My asshole is burning hotter than the deepest recesses of hell.)

After rendezvousing with Admiral Mcree's armada over Naboo, Tyler's personal venator was now traveling through hyperspace.

Tyler was standing before one of the displays that showed a panoramic view of what was going on outside of the ship. The streaking blue lights of stars in the distance created a beautiful display. It was like a tunnel of light. It would never get old for him.

A guild member rushed over to him. "Sir, there is an urgent meeting in the planning room. They have requested your presence."

Tyler nodded as he turned around. "Very well." He then walked towards the planning room. On the holotable, a few people were already in attendance. This included Obi Wan, Windu, Anakin, Ahsoka, and Mcree.

Windu turned and welcomed Tyler since he was the highest ranking person there. "Draco, thank you for joining us."

Tyler smiled. "So what seems to be the problem."

Anakin shook his head. "The blockade that the Techno Union has set up over Ryloth is impenetrable."

Tyler chuckled. "You know, bitches with IUDs might say the same thing but those still aren't 100% effective. Mcree, how many cruisers do we have?"

Mcree thought for a moment and then responded. "We have 16, general. But we need at least four of them to escort the landing crafts."

Tyler smiled. "Well, how does that compare to the blockade?"

Anakin sighed. "It appears that the Techno Union aren't the only ones holding the blockade. There must be some guilds reinforcing them as I saw at least 12 frigates and then 6 cruisers. One freighter is in the center. I reckon that if we take that out, their chain of command will fall apart."

Windu nodded in confirmation of this idea. "We have been receiving intelligence that the guilds on the enemy side have not been as unified as those in the Republic."

Tyler shrugged. "That doesn't really make that much of a difference." He then turned and looked dead at Anakin. "Skywalker, don't even think about using a venator sized projectile to take out the freighter. The guilds will know better than to let you get so close."

Anakin blinked a few times in confusion. "I hadn't even finished coming up with that plan yet."

Tyler shook his head. "That isn't important. What we need is a solution that doesn't commit war crimes. Anyone have any ideas?"

Mcree's eyes lit up. "Sir, if I may…" Tyler nodded so he continued. "I believe using one of Skywalker's damaged cruisers may be our best bet at destroying the blockade."

Tyler sighed. "So you are saying that you DO want to use a venator sized projectile."

Mcree nodded. "Yes, but not just a simple crash. I say we have it chart a course through hyperspace that will cut straight through the entire section of the blockade."

Tyler blinked slowly, stunned at this atrocious idea. "I hate it, but I love it. Let's do it."

Windu shook his head in disbelief. "Wait a damn minute. Why is this what we are going with?"

Mcree nodded, understanding Windu's confusion. "Well, General, it is simple math. If we can use one venator to destroy an entire section of the blockade, a damaged venator at that, then we would be saving a lot of money and a lot of lives. We don't even have to send in any soldiers. A droid can do it."

Windu thought for a moment and then nodded. "I guess that checks out. What if it fails?"

Tyler smirked. "Then I'll buy you a shiny new venator and we'll do it the boring way."

Windu shrugged. "That works with me. Any objections, Obi Wan?"

Obi Wan sighed and shook his head. "I'm still not sure how we are winning this war with both you and Anakin around but oh well. Just get on with it."

Tyler smiled. "Great. Mcree, make it happen."

Mcree nodded. "Yes, sir."

Tyler quickly walked away from the holotable, eager to return to the beautiful view of hyperspace.

-GE-

From space, Ryloth is a beautiful world. The clouds stretched through the skies like feathers off the edge of a bird's wings. Oceans of blue water stretched between the massive chunks of land that covered most of the surface. The majority of the planet was of arid climate, with the ground looking almost tinted orange. Stripes of greenery broke the orange palette of the land, providing a refreshing reprieve from the deserts and canyons.

In high orbit, a massive blockade of Separatist ships prevented any unauthorized traffic from accessing the planet or leaving. The captain of this blockade was a Neimoidian, currently studying up on Anakin's prior feats. He had a gut feeling that Skywalker would be coming back.

Unfortunately, he would soon have company but it wouldn't be Skywalker. The total blockade that surrounded the planet was made up of about 32 large ships. Eighteen of them are concentrated on the side of the planet that faces the Republic and the remainder are spread around the rest of the planet. Ryloth was a key system in maintaining the current front so it was crucial to keep it locked down.

A droid approached the captain of the blockade. "Sir, there is a Republic vessel approaching the blockade in hyperspace."

The captain nodded and smiled. "Good, just as I expected. We shall provide Skywalker with a warm welcome."

Sadly, there was no welcome to be given. Limitless was about to carry out what would officially be called a "drive-by" from here on out. Within a millisecond, the entire blockade was destroyed. Due to this occurring in space, there was no sound. No explosions, no screams, no crashes. Only pure, unbridled destruction.
