Battle Of Jelucum

The special forces team now called Gamma Squad had just arrived back on the ship to report what happened. John only requested the leader of the squad and the civilians to come and meet him.

After 5 minutes of waiting the squad leader and the civilians walked into the room and sat down. though the squad leader was standing up and saluting like he was trained to do when in front of a superior. John motioned for him to sit down before they get to talking

"Is what we heard true of the planet being invaded?" Asked John

The soldier nodded and responded "Yes the planet is surrounded by 10 ships that are blocking any transmissions from the planet and the fleet surrounding the planet are slavers who acquired 10 ships and seek to enslave the whole planet to make more money" Said the Squad Leader

"But they don't have enough people to take the whole planet as only the biggest cities have fallen so far and the smaller cities are only getting raided by them," Said one of the Civilians

"They have been here for 2 weeks now and have enslaved thousands of people already and killed some people who tried to resist," Said another Civilian

"I'm sorry such people like those exist in the Galaxy but that's why I will set it right," Said John with a serious face

The rescued civilians were surprised that somebody who was not involved and even save their lives was apologizing for what some slavers did. They thanked John and told him it wasn't his fault.

John looked at the civilians and smiled he then order some soldiers to find some temporary room for them.

Once they were gone John order a fleet consisting of 10 Lucerhulks plus 2 Mando warships and his personal ship the Vindicator to gather at the spaceport in Ord Ibanna. He wanted to hurry and destroy these slavers so he can get control of the planet and save people who have been captured.

In 2 hours the fleet had joined up with John's Vindicator. He ordered the Jump into hyperspace to the planet Jelucum. All the ships jumped into hyperspace at once to hurry to the planet.

Above the planet of Jelucum were 10 ships full of slavers and some hired mercs. They were watching the planet and waiting for the next shipment of slaves. They currently had 40k slaves in all and were waiting for the next load so they can leave and sell them.

The Leader of the slavers was a Hutt Khulli who was a cousin of Jabba. He was here so he can make enough money to get more ships so he can gain the Favor of Jabba. The plan was going well only a few resistance here and there but they quickly got rid of them.

Khulli was lost in thought when a fleet of Warships came out of hyperspace. One of the men had notified Khulli that they were receiving a communication so Khulli accepted.

On the screen, he saw a white-haired human who looked young "I am John Emperor of the New Order and I am here to investigate reports of people being enslaved" Said, John

Khulli began speaking in the Hutt language so John had a droid translate for him

"There is nobody being enslaved here we had received a distress signal so we responded to it and found nothing so we were just about to leave" Said Khulli

Khulli lied because he didn't want to fight that many ships that were much bigger than his so he hoped they would take the bait. And he heard about this New order that was recently established and didn't want to pick a fight with somebody like them as they defeated the trade union who had a powerful fleet

John who heard the Hutt shook his head as he tried to give them a chance to admit what they were doing but they didn't admit and even lied to him. So he ordered the Drop pods to deploy immediately as he didn't know if they had slaves on board or not and didn't want to kill innocent people.

The pods had launched but were not detected by the enemy fleet. Once they hit the ships Khulli was wondering what was going on so he looked out the window only to see thousands of large objects flying towards his ships.

He had to act fast and told his fleet to fire on the ships as he knew that they were the cause of these objects flying.

John ordered the transport escorted by fighters to take off and land on the planet. John had a total of 1 million droids that were retrofitted from the B-1 battle droids he acquired loaded on transports and landing on the planet.

The fighters piloted by droids were defending the transports from attacks from the smaller enemy ships while also fighting enemy fighters who were in some old modeled fighters that had weak shields so the enemy fighters stood no chance.

After 20 minutes of fighting 5 of the 10 enemy ships were captured and all slaves from each ship were rescued and the only things on the ships were droids and Khulli who was panicking as he didn't know what to do and thought he would die here didn't want to die so he ordered the fleet to retreat to Tatooine and would tell Jabba of this. Even if Jabba didn't like him he was still a Hutt and he knew Jabba would not let anybody attack a Hutt and get away with it.

John saw the 5 remaining ships leaving and ordered his ships to shoot the engines. they managed to stop one ship but the other 4 escaped. John ordered a team to take the ship that was remaining while he goes to the surface of the planet to see how it's going.

With him on the Pelican were Kina and Atra and his three force Guards who accompanied him to the surface.

Once they landed at a City that was taken back from the slavers John exited the Pelican and asked the Ground commander droid what was the progress so far.
