10 New acquaintances

"Ghost will go in with Sabine and chopper to shut down the artificial gravity and cover them if you're found. Sabine, I need you and chopper to turn off gravity for exactly two minutes-"

Colt could only nod as the plan was being told, this man, Kanan, seemed to know exactly what to do.

The crew was small four people and one droid.

A Mandalorian, a lassat, a human, and a Twi'lek.

His suspicions were right, the Twi'lek was a pilot, the others however seemed interesting.

The lassat had a rifle on his back but it seemed to be able to unfold, a bo staff, maybe?

The Mando had two pistols secured on her thighs and her armor was painted, he had to admit, the artistic talent was there, though she would stand out in a crowd. The same could be said about him too, though.

The Lassat was obviously the muscle of the team and the droid... well.

{Looks like I need to do all the work again... At least I have another meat bag to protect me while I work. At least be quick about saving those hairy meat bags.}

He was... Interesting.

"-The plan should go smoothly as long as we follow it."

Taking that as a dismissal, he stood up at the same time as the Lassat, Zeb, if he remembered correctly.

...Now what?

He had nothing to do before they came out of the hyperspace, which wouldn't be for a while.

He felt, for the first time, awkward. It was so easy to feel natural when he was alone, with no one to listen to, no orders to follow, every plan was his to follow and his to change as he saw fit.

As soon as everyone left the table, he sat down again and said silent, not knowing what to say. Turns out that almost sixteen years of isolation was detrimental to his social skills, who would've guessed?

"You're not going to take off the helmet?"

Looking toward the feminine voice, he mentally raised an eyebrow at the Mandalorian.

"My biggest advantage is my anonymity, so... No."

The girl chuckled at him and shrugged as if to say "What can you do" and walked over to the other side of the table to sit down.

"I like what you did to the old clone armor, though, it could use more color than gray."

Colt hummed, neither confirming nor denying the statement.

"I could say the same about yours too, but it looks too attention-grabbing for the things I do."

She raised an eyebrow but let it go, leaning back on the seat as she gave him a once over.

"Why the skull on the helmet."

What was this? Twenty questions? Why did this girl even start talking with him?

"If something has a defining feature, people tend to pay attention to it, that's the reason why I can just take off the mask and still keep my armor if I need to make a quick escape."

Her eyes widen in realization as if something clicked in her head and everything suddenly made sense.

"So that's why your description is like that."

Oh, right, he had a bounty on his head now.

About 1.5 million credits. Apparently, killing an inquisitor was a big deal.

In the description were his height, estimated weight, preferred weapons, and a warning.

His description had an emphasis on the helmet and its skull-like appearance, the armor was just defined as gray and black.

"I'll be honest, it wasn't intentional at first but when I changed my armor, I made the helmet more noticeable than before."

She smirked and folded her hands behind her head while closing her eyes.

Silence descended again, as the two didn't say anything, comfortable in the quietness of the ship.

The door opening caused his hand to shoot up, catching a small item that was barreling towards his head.

Looking down at his palm and then at the Lassat who threw it at him, tilting his head to indicate his confusion.

"That's a communicator connected to ours in case you need to inform us of something."

Nodding, Colt put it in one of his belt pockets.

He looked over at the giant form of Zeb, he had read about his species, after all, a blaster was banned because of them.

He could connect the dots, the A-7 wasn't banned because of collateral damage to the planet. It did not cause any deterioration of the planet's nature, that was a stupid reason only civilians would buy.

"... So, what do you do to pass time?"

The question came from Sabine and he had to think about it. He liked to train, but that was for survival, he liked to tinker with armor and blasters, but that was also for his survival...

He lived a pretty boring life if he didn't count the fights.

"Making my stealing attempts as overdramatic as possible."

The two chuckled, seemingly finding humor in his words, it wasn't as fun as it seemed, for everything he could do and for everything he did, his life was pretty dull, almost repetitive.

"What about you?"

Zeb and Sabine's chuckles slowly died down as they shifted in their seats to get more comfortable.

"Hitting bucket heads works miracles on the mood if you know what I mean."

Colt didn't, and his tilted head expressed what his face couldn't, his confusion.

"He means the stormtroopers."

The colorful Mando clarified and Cold let out an "Ah" of realization. That was a very creative name... accurate even.

"I call them Imps."

The smirk that crossed their faces informed him that they approved of the name, though he was sure that if he put more thought into it, he could come up with something better.

Bot.

There, All stormtroopers were bots on easy mode.
