Don't

The boy was holding onto life, clinging to the dark side of the force, as that was all he ever knew. Yun wasn't giving up, at least not in this fashion. He wasn't going to die helplessly.

"Heeeeeey!" The young man bellowed out as he turned onto his back. The Seething pain almost unbearable as the heat of Rune's weapons had left cauterized stubs for his arms fueled his anger. "Aren't you going to kill me!?"

His eyes were locked right on Rune and the girl's, Tano's, back.

Turning his head slightly, Tobias looked at Yun who was gulping down his saliva and trying to remain sane enough to escalate his own demise. A sense of pity was coming over him, maybe he should just put the kid out of his misery?

Tano looked over at Tobias and raised a brow. After they had just had a conversation about time travel, it seemed that this guy was now ready to kill, a literally, unarmed man. "He's no longer a threat. Leave him be Tobias."

Tobias glanced over at her as he could sense the darkside build up in the young man. If she assumed that was not as dangerous as a man with arms, he didn't know what was. He drew his weapons once more and began walking towards Yun.

He was grinning up at the man, as if this was going to be his victory. However, Yun's expression quickly faded seeing the face Tobias was wearing.

"Tobias, don't!" Ahsoka was about to run after him until she sensed a disturbance in the force, it almost made her freeze in place. Her battle precognition was active and her eyes widened.

Even without arms, Yun wasn't harmless.

This wasn't a kill to kill out of anger or negative intent. Mercy, pity. Was he going to be subject to a mercy kill? Taking in a deep breath the Yun who was of a warrior people, went to bellow at the top of his lungs. An involuntary and unstable technique such as Force Scream was foreseen to happen.

Tobias used the force, flipping the boy onto his back, Yun released the scream into the ground. It send him into the air, making a crater from the explosive force of the scream.

"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!"

Tobias watched as the boy's body came falling back down to the earth below. Yun landed on his back with an extremely dazed and damaged look on his face. His jaw was clearly dislocated and at a strange angle. He was pretty sure the boy was missing a few teeth.

Before the dark Jedi could regain his senses, Tobias flicked his wrist to the side and beheaded the dark force user. His eyes remained as they always had, calm and dark.

He looked over towards Ahsoka Tano who wore a frown on her face. She couldn't yell at him, she couldn't tell him that he shouldn't have done it. She saw what had happened. What could have happened if he didn't step forward and take out the boy, was horrendous. The scream would have surely wiped them out, or at least heavily injured them and damaged the front of the building.

Commander Teron came out of the building just moments later and looked over the dead corpses which littered the makeshift battle field. His eyes widened slightly when he didn't see the Jedi Master right away.

"Wh-where... Where is K'kruhk?" The Commander looked around and then paused as his eyes narrowed on Jerec who was holding the Jedi Master's lightsaber in his limp hands. Not far away from him was remains of the Jedi's robes.

A frown readily formed over his lips, he then turned towards the Grand Moff who was holding two activated lightsabers. Slowly placing his hand over his holstered pistol, "You're handing over the Jedi like you promised..."

The leader of the Imperium just stared through the Imperial Officer who was openingly threatening him. "And who am I handing them over to?"

"Tobias..." Tano said with a low tone as she looked at the two men. Both of them were about ready to start fighting each other.

Tobias would do it simply to silence the man and do away with what he had promised K'kruhk. On the other hand, Teron wanted to protect the younglings and padawans who had once helped take care of.

Teron didn't have a good view of the Empire, and it was reflected in his eyes.

"I am not the Old Empire, Teron." Tobias took a step forward as the Commander pulled his pistol and aimed it from his hip. Teron's body language was hostile, stern and confident.

Commander Teron was ready to die here. Without those Jedi, he would have nothing left as his career was long over. The Empire was gone, and it had turned its back on him. It left him in a prison to rot. "No, you're just another usurper..."

Tobias closed his eyes hearing this tone of voice, the sentence was heavy to hear.

"Just another tyrant."

The Grand Moff opened his eyes and deflected the volley of bolts which the Imperial Officer released in his general direction. To the ground, to the nearby wall and to a deceased corpse.

Tobias with each blaster shot, got closer to the Imperial Officer. Teron remained dignified, unyielding even as the lightsabers deflected each shot. He waited for at least one of them to hit, but none of them did.

Teron's frown slowly turned upside down moments before the lightsaber cleaved his head from his shoulders and sent the former officer's body to the ground.

Tobias Rune stared down at it for a moment before looking over toward Ahsoka Tano who was looking at him with a disappointed expression on her face. She was in half a mind to leave and take the Jedi with her.

He could sense this and it made him frown slightly. Deactivating his weapons he looked off in the direction of the starport they had arrived in at the city. The local officials were taking the bodies which were sprawled out around them. Removing the corpses, but Tobias used the force to collect the lightsabers and tucked them into his belt.

Ahsoka Tano stared at the item Rune had given her just moments before this had all gone down. The silvery braided metallic bracelet that spoke to her. Slowly she would graze her fingers over its smooth surface. It was cold to touch, but it was also rather comfortable at the same time.

Her blue eyes highlighted every little spec of craftsmanship before looking over at him. He had given her a gift, something he had made. Slowly she would slip it over her wrist, over her gauntlet, and as it made it to her bicep, she felt a revitalizing energy pass through her.

Her Lekku began to shrink in length, she felt her body become tighter. Her features became youthful, soft. The age lines under her eyes gradually vanished, and her eyes became bigger as they once were.

She stood there looking at her hands and down at her feet. Even though he had originally said that her height wouldn't change, she was about the same height as she was at the end of the clone wars. She looked just as she did when she was only seventeen years old.

Her eyes focused on Tobias who was smiling slightly at the change of her appearance. It was clear he seemed more attentive to her looks now than he had before. It felt strange with his gaze.

It was like he was admiring a live action figure, similar to how he was admiring the Jedi Master less than an hour ago, before the fighting. "Why do you keep looking at me like that?" Ahsoka Tano blurted out as she thinned her lips.

Tobias simply tilted his head slightly, the smile across his lips fading as he was asked this question. "I admired you during the Clone Wars," he reached out a hand and quietly rested his fingers against the bridge of her nose, between her brows.

Tano tensed slightly before suddenly a vision of her during the Clone wars appeared in her mind.

"I'm the new Padawan learner. I'm Ahsoka Tano."

She saw herself at the Battle of Christophsis where she first fought alongside her late Master, Anakin Skywalker. She saw herself at the Battle of Teth against Asajj Ventress, and she saw herself flying a fleft-wauf on the planet Taloraan during a mission.

What made her feel strange however was how she saw herself, as she was seeing herself through his eyes, his mind. Then before she could learn more of how he saw her, how he looked at the world, he withdrew his hand and casually left her at the front of the building as he returned to Sabine in the auction house.

"What the hell was that..." She muttered to herself as she stared at the footprints he left behind. She placed her weapons on her belt and hugged herself slightly. Since she had shrunk, most of her clothes, her armor, was too big.
