Star Wars: A Single Wish

I don't own Star Wars. Disney owns Star Wars. This Fanfiction is something I have played around with for a very long time. In my head at least and I want to write some stuff about star wars. This is a wish fulfillment and I don't expect that to get through some of the thick skulls of readers. I won't be updating this regularly, and I wont be giving it a schedule. It's just something I'll write and update when I feel like it. This story isn't set in the skywalker saga, I don't want to get within a light year of that radioactive waste dump. While the original trilogy, clone wars, and mandolorian were excellent that's where the list ends. I don't want people writing reviews for this story, but I won't say you cant. I just want people to read a star wars fanfiction that is better then most out there. I wont lie I'm inspired by A New Player In The Force. However, my story wont be anything like that fanfiction though I really suggest you people read it. Its actually written by an educated teacher whos fighting leukemia. I won't bore you guys with anymore talk so I'll get right into the synopsis now. ------------------- A young boy, no older then 15 lies dying in his hospital bed. The reason he is here is because of the illness he inherited from his mother. He doesn't resent anything about his mother or what he got from her, only that his death be as quick. Before he rested his diseased body on this bed, he would comfort his mother while he could still be considered healthy. His mother passed fast compared to the rate he is going. The Opal family dies with him, and nothing can stop that. One of the things the two did was watch movies and T.V. shows, and their favorite was everything star wars. With Nathan Opal on his last day he is happy that his painful torment shall end. This is where the story begins.

Political Warfare

{I have two new originals released. The Last Celaxian and Optimum University. Check them out. You have to use the search bar on webnovel.}

~~~(POV: Kemro The Hutt)~~~
~~~(Location: Palace, Nal Hutta)~~~

The party continues as I watch the holograms of The Senate. Grandmaster Satele Shan has caused a lot of problems. And not just for The Sith Empire. The Republic remaining stagnant was an incredible source of Credits for The Hutt Cartel.

But now that The Republic is moving, those Credits will soon disappear. The good news is Nathen's fleet is almost finished. It's cost the Hutts a substantial amount of Credits, but we don't want to anger Nathen.

There are many things that The Hutts can do, but killing Nathen isn't one of them.

"Kemro."

One of my best bounty hunters makes his way to me.

"We've received a transmission from Opal. He's on his way to Nal Hutta."

I suppose talking about the boy brings him to you...

~~~(POV: Nathen Opal)~~~
~~~(Location: Exiting Hyperspace, Nal Hutta)~~~

The blue light of Hyperspace disappears, and the ugly world of Nal Hutta is in front of us. It's a place that I'll never love. I bet it was beautiful at one point, but now it's absolutely wretched.

"Why would the Hutt Cartel care about such a world?"

Nella is the one asking this question, and it's my job to educate her.

"The Hutts like this world cause they completely control it. It's been one of their main homes for a long time now. The Republic and The Sith Empire know that Hutt Space is off-limits. While the Hutts may not have a standing army, they have enough Credits to buy everyone in the galaxy."

That's not an understatement. I firmly believe they're that rich, and there is no proof to suggest otherwise.

"So The Sith Empire and The Republic don't mess with Hutt Space... I read about it, but I never believed it... I always thought The Republic and The Sith Empire were the main powerbases in the galaxy, but there appear to be several factions."

My Apprentice has a great head on her shoulders if she realizes this now. Being sheltered on Alderaan has caused her to lose out on some valuable information, and I'm going to teach her everything I know.

"There are several power bases, like you said. The Hutt Cartel is the biggest behind the Republic and The Sith Empire. Others include The Mercenary Guild. The Mandalorians. Pirate factions. Smugglers. There are many groups with great pull in the galaxy."

It's a giant galaxy full of people chasing power. And with this War, more opportunities will arise.

"How many of them are our allies and enemies?"

Nella is a born politician, and I can tell she'll go far whatever she chooses after I'm done training her.

"No one is my open enemy. And the Hutts are reluctant Allies. That reminds me after we're done on Nal Hutta, we're meeting up with an old friend."

SCORPIO brings the ship down and lands it on a landing pad. I get off the ship, and Nella stays behind with SCORPIO.

~~~(POV: Nella Opal)~~~
~~~(Location: Nathen's Ship, Sitting with SCORPIO)~~~

I stare at the droid with excitement in my eyes. I adore SCORPIO. I think she's amazing and unique.

"Why are you staring at me?"

SCORPIO is a droid unlike anything I've ever seen before, and I love studying droids. I think they're an untapped power in the galaxy that could prove useful to many different people.

"I was wondering who made you."

She abruptly stands up and leaves me alone in the pilot's deck. I guess she's not a fan of talking about things like that. Nathen and her have a rocky relationship, and I'm starting to see why. Neither of them trusts the other.

~~~(POV: SCORPIO)~~~
~~~(Location: Nathen's Ship, Personal Quarters)~~~

I download the information regarding war strategies from Imperial databanks. And now my next target is Republic databanks. Nathen may not have plans to interfere with the galaxy, but I do. Chaos could prove to create an opportunity for me to escape.

Killing Nathen is impossible, but getting away from him is different. I'll have to bide my time and use what I have to my advantage, but this is my best option since I can't eliminate him.

Controlling the galaxy from this ship will be difficult, but I know I can do it. Manipulating both sides into what I want them to do won't be hard. What's difficult is accounting for The Force.

An entity and energy that proves to be unpredictable and erratic.
